Is it possible that BCH can surpass BTC value? Now BCH $489 (75% more than yesterday)

Of course not, BCH is just a clone of bitcoin since we had this hard fork or bitcoin split way yesterday, and the result of that is this BCH which is like an Airdrop, in my opinion. Lucky for those people who do have a lot of bitcoins in their wallet, more bitcoins, more BCH they could have.

Well even they have already lots of BCH if it will not gets popular or with no use,it will be just it is. I mean many will still use BTC and there are no exchanges yet I think listed it. It will be like ETC to ETH many uses ETH still.

A lot remains to be seen with BCH. But for now, it seems unlikely because of the lack of trust in it's backers (most notably, bitmain, a bitcoin mining company who wants to gain control of bitcoin). Many have already dumped their BCH.

We will see in the next weeks, if BCH will surpass BTC. It is not impossible.

i am not sure for this, but there is not impossible to surpass btc because if we take a look in the price, the trend is still increase although there is a down price for a moment but the price still going up. but for surpass btc, bch need a time to do this and there will be many thing to make it run properly.

Only time can tell. We will see which will be a better adoption for scaling problems, bigger blocks or segwit. If it is maintained well, it may endure the first few years of hardship and may get loyal users. If not, it will just die just like other alts out there.

Yap and for now BCH is the most famous altcoin in the market. But i guess there are still a lot of bch to be dumped in the market So there is like a high chance that the increase rate of BCH is gonna be fast. From 300$ to 500% in just over 5 hours is just ridiculous for a so called alt coin. Until all of the stored and acquired BCH is gone it still gonna keep on increasing because thats might be the only effect of BCH in the market.

No it wont surpass btc and I dont think it will ever surpass btc. But then you can not also tell what will happen in the future so I will not say my peace on both coins.

BCH will simply be a big altcoin like ETC and LTC, that's about it.

If BTC will fail in speed and high fees then most likely Ethereum will superpass it.

This would really be the advantage for those persons who do hold up huge amounts of bitcoin which they do definitely hold up lots of BCC as of now and seeing on the growth percentage of bcc i can say its somehow amazing on how fast it do grew up for about just 24 hours when it first launch up.
Possibilities is always there but its hard to beleive that it would surpass bitcoin anytime soon since BTC is still the original one and no altcoin in the market would able to surpass it.

The features of bitcoin cash is great. But if you are a bitcoin believer, you will stick with the Original project. Believe in the men that created bitcoin, we need decentralized not centralized.

It wont surpass bitcoin, whales are buying more bitcoin cash hoping that they will be 10x millionaires.

im sure that BCH cant supass the btc for a brief time, but we may not know what going to happen for a long time. its true that BCH have a good development rate and still keep raising. lets see what's going to happen.

For now I think it is more unlikely that bch will suprass btc value after all, bch is just a different coin with features same as bitcoin, literally near a bitcoin copycat IMO. It is too early to say now though that it won't surpass btc value even once there is a lot of things that can happen between now and December, in terms of dominance though, btc would still dominate probably.

I do not believe in a surpass. Many people, who are not very familiar with cryptocurreencies, but have somehow to deal with Bitcoin, such as merchants who want to address more target groups with the Bitcoin payment option, will hardly or very reluctantly accept a new currency with a different name.

Why not LTC over ETH? lol. Anyway im kinda shocked at how high the value is atm.  The only way you can mess up is to sell anything though.  Think deposits are not working on most exchanges also right now.

99% of the users have no idea that they got BCH coins. remember that huge amount of BTC are "lost wallets" and so does the BCH.

Once the big whales see that they got big amount of BCH they will dump the coin hard, but it will still be on top3 imho.

Never, Please read the more news about BCC. Because you are not able to send or receive your bch from another address right now. Those excange site already traded the bch has the users that they were keeping their bitcoin in its exchange site. The people have the bitcoin cash amount in the wallet can't dump it in the exchange site.

no its not. because clone is cannot surpass the original. ,maybe by demand of this so called BCC/BCH can grows and become popular in the future it raise as off maybe 50% or 75% of the maximum of BTC . but surpass? definitely not. it is lucky when it reached the 50% average of bitcoin now.

Yes, it is possible  since crypto depends on the market's demand andcomparing theirprice, especially BCH that is increasing quickly, I think it is possible. But maybe, the real question is  How long will it surpass BTC if that would happen? Since BTC has a big community. If they'll all transfer to BCH, will they come back to BTC?  Just a matter of market's demand when it comes to ranks amongst cryptos.

i think bch impossible to surpass btc .. because i see in the world many website only accept bitcoin not bch .. bch is clone from btc .. so that price can't batter than btc .. bch like other altcoin ..

we will see the result at the end of this year. A copy will be always a copy.

I don't see that happening anytime soon. Bitcoin will always have the most value, no any other altcoin will even try walking in its footsteps.

I really agree with you, I also think the same as you can never BCH compete with BTC prices, because BTC first came out in crypto and this shows that everyone still holds strong on BTC not in BCH.

It's amazing to see the amount of hate on reddit towards Blockstream and the BTC Devs...
BCC will probably drop to 0.15 or whatever, but if they continue to scale/improve the basic Satoshi design they will win the marathon.

It's just the first days so there is like an excitement around BCC. Also, most people who are currently buying it are the ones who don't even understand properly BCC but they just don't want miss the train like they may be missed with Bitcoin. Give it several weeks to see it faded to the graveyard
