I've read it but with the multitude of channels out there on Youtube and sites covering crypto and blockchain you can get up to speed through whatever medium you want.

I have read Satoshis white paper but I didn't read the whole thing but I do read only the key ideas which I do really understand on why bitcoins is being created and those plans of satoshi is already slowly been accomplished but we are still not yet on the state on where it has been accepted worldwide but yet we are still young and continuing to grow. I didn't read on the portion on the WP specially on those Coding parts since I don't have much idea on this aspect.

Its actually not that difficult to understand, especially the first few pages. The coding part will not make any sense. For me, it was reading the first part that made me hooked on BTC.

I also skipped the coding parts.

Thank you BeerLover. I have read this white paper a few times. I am in the process of framing it page for page and put the frames in my home office.

Honestly I just don't know about Satoshi whitepaper before but when I read now and it was so intense and a good series of programming codes and algorithm. I'm truly amaze of Satoshi Nakamoto work, he is a truly humble and genius person I've ever know.

He truly was/is a genius. I wish more people would read his white paper. Bitcoin is truly going to change the world.

This is obvious, but it is actually difficult to interpret what Satoshi actually says in the white paper.
Only certain people can understand that, and for some people just ignore it and assume that it does not matter

I have read it too and I still have a copy of it in pdf on my phone. I too didn't understand the coding part but still I read it and even now whenever I get time I read it thinking this will make me understand it better.

Now that you mentioned it, I just realized that I haven't had the chance or will to read Satoshi's whitepaper. It's not that I don't want to but it just never crossed my mind. And because of that, I just felt that I missed out many important things about BTC. Thanks for bringing this up and I'll definitely read it in the coming days.

I have been into crypto for a few months now, never read it before. But seeing this thread made me motivated to read it ! I have know most of the stuff already, but it's nice to get a refresher.

Just let me do some clarifications here ... I used to not properly make references on my academic papers .. some of my papers actually raised yellow flag on my university plagiarism detection system ... When I read the paper for the first time I was skeptical on how come a system like bitcoin only have 8 references... and the author h-index ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H-index ) was almost zero ...

In the beginning I though it was one of MIT pranks .. such as SicGen[1] ( https://pdos.csail.mit.edu/archive/scigen/ (https://pdos.csail.mit.edu/archive/scigen/) ) or since the topic is cryptology maybe SCIpher - A Scholarly Message Encoder ( https://pdos.csail.mit.edu/archive/scigen/scipher.html ) ...

But as I said when you see the thing working ... and you go wow ...

[1] that program already messed with few H-index calculators ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCIgen#Spoofing_Google_Scholar_and_h-index_calculators )
