Title: Poloniex support problem
Post by: igor_ on August 02, 2017, 01:55:08 PM
Guys, help! How to contact with Poloneix support without tickets? I accidentally froze my account and already MORE MONTH they ignore me! I can not trade and bear heavy losses. At first I thought that polo scam, because for some reason, the internal chat was turned off, but people are selling everything like ok
Thanks in advance for the help!

I also have an account in Polo. Can you figure out why your account was frozen? Do you violate their terms and condition? Let us know. I personally doubt of storing my funds in Poloniex. Thats why my BTC funds is posted from different crypto trading sites.

Yes, I know. I accidentally froze it =)
I received a message about the input from an unknown ip - and I immediately pressed "freeze"
I then noticed that I had included VPN O_o. But I even could not think that there would be such problems with defrosting ((

I don't think they are a scam. Right now I never had problems with them. I do hear that their support takes to long to respond. I think that was one of the reasons why they closed the chat. To mobilize more personal to reply to the tickets. In your case it's hard since, they apparently you are losing money.
I don't think they are scam, but I don't think they will care much for your losses though.

So far I have never encountered that same problem of yours OP but the only person who are able to help you unfreeze your account would be the technical support of this site and to address your issue, you have to send them a ticket.

First of poloniex is master player in the world of exchanger currently. They are not scam by any way and they won't be after looking at their net worth profits. Lols.

Anyway here is your own mistake as you depicted here:

I then noticed that I had included VPN O_o

You yourself gave them the reason to froze your account. You have only option to email them and explain them whole situation like you did it here. They will ask you security questions may be and or will try to figure out how you are related to the frozen account. So best way to let them investigate the problem.

you accidentally freezing your account ? ok make a sense,
what you need to do is send a tickets or sending email to their support, don't do it just once do it everyday or if you don't want to do it everyday just ever 2 days.
So far it is not a scam exchanger, but a lot of problem happened in there so more likely they will become another Mt.Gox or Cryptsy.

Remember, you need to follow up your problem because everyday a thousand tickets created based on their answer when my friend asked them about his issue, and it took a time around 1-3 months. But some of them never get a replied from their support

and other that that try to send them a Message via Twitter

Based on what is happening and what you have explained here, I guess there is nothing you can do than to wait on them and as someone has suggested you keep on sending the mail and tickets until they respond because I sense you sent them one and hoping they would have resolved it. They have a lot of customers asking them for several things at the same time and this might be due to the delay but don't give up and keep trying.

Poloniex is not a scam, it's just that they have some problems, and maybe this will take a lot of time to fix it, I read the official poloniex account tweet a while ago,

There is not even unfreeze account place I mean there is not even option if someone can then that person should be worker there because there is no sign of unfreeze or any certificate required place so kindly I would say that I don't think that it is even fake or not fake because i'm also confused about it. But in my opinion it is not that much fake as people considering.

Polo may not be a scam but most serious traders have moved to other exchanges with proper customer support.

Congratulate me)
Only that they answered me and I froze my account :)
I thought I would lose an hour or two, but it took 52 days (
I will continue to work with Poloniex but distribute funds on 3-4 exchanges. So reliable)
Maybe you will advise good exchanges?

This is the main reason why Poloniex users are shifting to Bittrex. Poloniex should improve their service.

Poloniex facing this problem for some time but they are not doing any thing to solve this just because of this many members shifting to Bitterx which is relatively better in support they need to do some more effort for solving issues otherwise they can face some serious trouble from customers about this

This is already serious and I think its already like 3 months now and no one from Poloniex have the decency to look at your issue. That's why I gave up using them months ago because even a simple issue they can't response in a timely manner.

Maybe you can try Bitfinex or Kraken or Bittrex. I think those 3 are the most reliable trading platforms although I have also seen some issues from them. Maybe the volume of trade and the number of traders has something to do with it. So may I suggest to remove all your funds if you can and move it to the 3 exchanges I mentioned and see how it goes with you.
