Title: Banned in signature campaign:Hi sir, gonna ask something relevant about avatar.
Post by: bubblebit on August 02, 2017, 02:29:23 PM
Hi sir/ma'am,

BTCitcoiners gonna ask something relevant about avatar/signature campaign rules.
I'm a new rank full member and never been part of an avatar campaign.
Please enlighten me,
I'm banned to join signature campaign until august 25 (1 month exactly) for posting on a spam-campaign w/pay, an honest mistake on my part.

If your banned in signature campaign, can you join an avatar campaign?
Any answer would be appreciated.

curiousity and might help others with same situation/idea

(This isn't the right board for this question.)
Who banned you from joining sig campaigns? The campaign you were advertising yourself?

From what I understand unless things have changed, it's up to whoever runs the campaign to select who can and can't be part of it.
You'll have to ask directly the manager of the campaign you wish to join.

-snip-
He's probably talking about the recent ban wave that theymos applied to people joining the "Decentraland" bounty and posting in the ANN thread to earn Bitcoins, which is against the rules. This means that he can't apply a signature for 1 month. Source (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2045928.msg20386758#msg20386758)

I would say that you can. You just can't wear a signature for 1 month for breaking the rules. But most campaigns will require you to join the signature campaign aswell before getting paid a bonus to wear the avatar.

(I'm not 100% sure btw)

(Sorry to that i want to delete the my thread but can't)
The banned in my account is justifiable to my action.
