Title: What are you doing with BCC
Post by: FrueGreads on August 02, 2017, 03:16:16 PM
Hello everyone, things are looking stable right now for BTC, and they should continue healthy, but what are you guys doing with the BCC?

I know how to claim them, but I don't know what client to use, and if they are really safe since they were "rushed". Also not all exchanges are accepting BCC right now. I normally use poloniex, but I don't think they will be accepting BCC anytime soon.

So my questions are:

- What clients are you guys using to claim BCC

- Where are you trading them (and are you selling or holding)

I'm really not interested in the bitcoin cash. That altcoin has really started the headache to everyone who are against it and don't want any foreplay with it.  ::)

I'm just thinking to put money into bitcoin and bitcoin mining which now seems to be distributed amongst two friend BTC and BCC.

But as piece of advice blockchain and bittrex should give full support to them. They are the only good clients for your BCC.

I haven't claim my free coins yet. I'm using Electrum wallet but will probably get it when everything has settled down so many questions and not clear answer as of yet. Some even claimed they have lost their precious bitcoin. I'm in no rushed and I'm ok if I sell it for low price or just even hold it for now since I will have no interest on it. I'll stick with bitcoin and I agree with you that the price is healthy and strong.

So far Bittrex takes the lead in Bitcoin Cash trading volume, followed by Kraken and ViaBTC. But I read that they haven't mined in the last 9 hours or so, that's why exchanges had stopped depositing and withdrawing of BCH/BCC.

This is China and they always create surprise for trader on market =)). In today, many news in my country and TV program about economic are talking  about "new" Bitcoin Cash can pass Bitcoin in future because the value and function of it are better Bitcoin after SegWit lol ;D

Hello,

I'm not using a special service to claim BCC. I held my bitcoin on bittrex and then they gave its users BCC in 1:1 ratio.

I wastrading it on bittrex but I'm totally out. I dumped mine on the buyers. Good luck for BCC traders. It has a great potential for the biggest dump of the history.

I was not expecting that much shoot in BCC price but yes it has proven its worth. As its price flying hour by hour i suggest people should buy this as much as he can and start selling for profits or if he holds BCC then i wont suggest to bold because its price jumps high and suddenly falls.. so better to trade rather then holding BCC.

I didn't claim yet, I hold them in a cold storage and for now I don't have any plans what will I do with them. Probably I will sell them right away, I see that all over the forum people ate saying that bcc don't have a future.
First block has been mined already, I didn't find info about what is the difficulty BCC mining? Is it possible to mine BCC with lap tops or difficulty is to high? That is very important but I couldn't find nothing about that.

I will be claiming BCC after at least one month from now. And still I haven't decided on what to do with them. There are two possibilities.:

1. Either I will hold on to 100% of the coins, for at least one year
2. The second possibility is that I may dump 50% of the coins and keep the remaining.

At first I was planning to sell half and then hodl the other half. I saw a sudden pump from 0.07 to 0.15. But when I saw it started dumping I decided to just sell it all before going to sleep and just buy it back when it dips. Was very surprised I saw it higher today and reached $1200 at peak. Weekend is coming so we can see more dumps. I will be back after few weeks.

Another thing that bothers me is Poloniex, Coinbase, Bitfinex and other exchanges will have their free BCH soon and maybe will dump it as they aren't supporting it.

I will have some Bcash from Bitfinex and Kraken, but I'm not doing anything with my local or cold storage wallets. I don't trust the Electron Cash or Bitcoin ABC wallets.... I'd rather wait until I'm confident that I have a secure way to split my coins. There is temptation to rush because of the current price of Bcash, but that price can't last in the short term, once supply starts to arrive at exchanges.

Long term, who knows. Alts usually get pumped at some point.

I also don't know what to do with BCC, it's price is jumping like a crazy. I have got on my wallet 0,1 BCC and thought to sell it when the price on exchanger reached 1000$, but the function of the input is not available in this moment. I think now it's correction of BCC's price is happening, that's why all operations with it are impossible.

I will be holding my coin for a long time as i am not in a hurry to sell of bitcoin cash too soon, the rally it had was pretty amazing and it was expected because it is a new coin and the pump was riding high for a while until it settled and started correcting,i saw some really huge volumes in bittrex ,i do not think this will die off soon,i am just keep it for the long term.

iam claim my bitcoin cash in bittrex and viabtc.com, only hold in there before segwit
iam trade bitcoin cash in bittrex, because in there the best volume transaction and good price

Currently want to wait for few more days before claiming my BCC. Still reading stuffs online and because afaik BCC can claimed anytime I want then I think it's fine to not think of it now although I might missed the opportunity to sell those.

Also there are only few exchanges that do BCC trades, plus the fact that deposits for BCC in some of the exchanges are being disabled.  That's why this is one of the reason why I need to wait for more days or even weeks before entering the BCC transaction world.

Yes, they always create surprises and pump up quickly then collapse, this is a trap for us to fall into and if we do not soon realize, we will lose a lot of money. Bcc is not a potential coin, it's just a miner's product and just based on bitcoin to become famous, it has no future. So, I will sell as soon as possible, it's like a boom, I really do not dare to keep it

Though I have not investing in bcc because I am against split or division! I will like to advise you on were you can trade bitcoin cash. Bittrex is the only popular exchangers that is accepting bitcoin cash now and that is were you can get current data on bitcoin cash. Goodluck.

I think I'm like most of you. I don't really want to hold them, and selling them looks like the best option. The problem is not "trusting" bcc clients yet, so it's probably better to wait a month or so, but I will probably lose the pump. Hope traders will keep busy with them, and maybe I will get a chance to get something out of them.

I also sold them on poloniex :) I don`t think that it is reasonable to keep them at the moment. Maybe after September it would be clear, how much they would cost, after it we can have some fun by trading BCC. At the moment it just pumps, dumps and it is really violate ;D

Are you talking about bitcoin cash or any other coin, because poloniex has not even listed the coin and how come you sold them in that exchange. :P
I am willing to take the risk to hold it for a longer time as i would like to know its true potential before selling that off,the price rise is promising and i am yet to claim my coins as i would like to learn more about claiming the coins safely.

I just keep my bitcoin in the bittrex to get my free bitcoincash. But i already sold them all in a good price on bittrex, at the time the bitcoin cash transaction still unavailable. Because those claiming their bitcoin through electrum or something else was not able to sending their bitcoin cash to the exchange (just via btc exchange was available for that)

At first I thought of selling bcc as soon as possible, but seeing some markets like coinbase and poloniex would also use them in their market, my mind changed a bit, bcc indirectly will have business potential even though I have not understood it.

I think BCH is good crypto for day trading at the moment. Easy 50-100 $ per BCH within 30 mins. If its priced less we can still earn healthy profits by trading. We dont care about what it has to offer, so long it helps to stuff your wallet with profits is a good deal to me :)

As of now, nothing's clear with my mind regarding that news about splitting BTC/BCC, I was confused because I don't know what I'm I going to do with my BTC that's why I've cashed out all my BTC in my wallet. They are talking about BCC is another type of cryptocurrency which is the alternative coin also. I don't have BCC now and I don't know how to get that now. Would you pls explain to me how to earn BCC in this forum?

There is no way to earn BCC from this forum. You get BCC if you had some number of BTC in your wallet on August 1st.

For me I just sold what little BCH I had when the hardfork happened. I was very shocked that it pumped to almost 3x what I sold for but now it's back below that price so I'm not too unhappy with my decision.

Are there any planed airdrops? I haven't heard of them, and most users already got a lot of coins because of the split, that I thought airdrops would not happen. Is there an official blog or site for them. I haven't found any.

At first I thought of selling bcc as soon as possible, but seeing some markets like coinbase and poloniex would also use them in their market, my mind changed a bit, bcc indirectly will have business potential even though I have not understood it.

Are you sure poloniex will adopt the coin? Because if so, shouldn't they have to give the BCC to the users that had BTC on their exchange by the time of the split?

Haha we can't negate Bitcoin Cash give holder Bitcoin and trader best airdrop and opportunity earning a huge profit from it. But remember this just is and FOMO temporary, don't let the volume make you continue trading this coin and take more loss, I have some friends just by the profit earned in first time drop down and take big loss after bought Bitcoin Cash when the price reach to 0.48 BTC :P

After I got my BCC, I waited for the right price of BTC and them bought back the tokens I sold for BTC. There are tons of the tokens I invested since last year and so I have to buy them back because I'm expecting profit from them in the long term. BCC was nice and its a good free money so thanks to them, I wish to use my BCC for investment too. I think It will be useful soon.

After I got my BCC, I set half of them to a sell order and half would be on hold for a couple of months. I'm still trying to see if this coin has value in a month, not that it doesn't have a value right now but I am still trying to see the market if investors or whales are playing with this coins too.

Well, I just sell my whole BCC at the right price and on its peak, guess what it's the wisest trading movement I've ever had and now have the plan to invest to BCC again but pretty doubt.
Some people even said that the real DUMPS of BCC is going to happen when the transaction of BCC went smooth so people could just move their BCC to some exchanges and sell it.

Bittrex is accepting bitcoin cash and you can covert your bitcoin to bitcoin cash on their trading platform . My fear for bitcoin cash is acceptability around the crytocurrency circle. Many honest traders are against split including me it is better to develop a new coins than to split away.

Me too. I sold all BCC's because I'm sure this altcoin will have a lower price at the present time and I was right. Currently on BIttrex, everyone is selling BCC making altcoin prices fall dramatically.

i read on poloniex, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) balances will be credited by 8/14 and we need to waiting but i don't know if poloniex want to make a pair for BCC or not.

i don't use any clients because my wallet is using mycelium and jaxx and i think that wallet is not giving BCC. but fortunately, i have BCC from bittrex and yobit and i am selling yesterday when the price is still high.

At the moment I have not done anything significant, I still consider the situation calmly to make the right decision. Maybe I will wait until August 10, when the official segwit is locked. Of course, I will find out how to claim BCC, transfer them to my wallet and store it securely. I am currently using wallet software on my computer, offline wallet and also holding my entire private key. As for the place of business, selling them, I would probably choose bittrex because it accepts Bitcoin Cash and is also very safe.

Then if Bitcoin cash goes well for the time then maybe I would just sell partial of what I have.

The best thing to deal with the new currency that is made possible by the spilt is to formally hold it in wallet suitable to accept Bitcoin and BCC transaction just like how ethereum have its development and growth to its price. And if you not needed such a money it is much better to hold it until the price pump and reaches your target price and still trade it on the possibility of more development and progress to its transaction, price , value and security.

I think I have no other option but to hold now. BCC price continues to crash as everyone sells their coins, and now that Poloniex has confirmed that they will credit their users with their BCC, there will be probably more people selling and the dump will continue. Of course that since everyone is selling, maybe a pump will follow?

I'd be happy to hold it if I only could get them. Does anyone know how to get BCCs from an address which has been in a 1of3 Electron multisig wallet? It seems the usual way with electron cash doesn't work...
