There have been only 16 blocks mined of this shit coin since the hard fork.

This is the real reason the price is so high. No one can move this 'bitcoin Cash" shit coin because its network is nearly frozen. All the major exchanges dealing in this scam coin require 20 confirmations. (and were on block 16!)

At the current rate it would take two days to move 'Bitcoin Cash' from a private wallet to an exchange to dump it.

The vast majority of Bitcoin Users HODLers* hold their Bitcoins in private wallets on on their own hardware.

I will continue to do everything I can to warn the community from buying into this blatant scam. You have all been taken over by greed!

Over the next 24 hours you will see this shit coin crash harder then any shit coin in the history of crypto.

We can not allow this scam coin to continue to use our name they must be stopped! We must do everything we can to make it clear to everyone that this new network has absolutely no affiliation with the core developers and supporters of Bitcoin.

It will crash and burn and when it does the news/media won't make a distinction between "Bitcoin" and "Bitcoin Cash" this will have huge PR ramifications! That will be with us forever!

I definitely agree that the reason price remains this high is the inability to get BCC onto exchanges. These incredibly long block intervals, I think, were not expected by users, nor exchanges. The BCC devs should have expected that only a small minority of miners would move to BCC. They should have changed the difficulty algorithm to account for this. If/when difficulty resets, we will start seeing a more realistic price as people can reliably move BCC.

Last chance to get out. This ship is going down. Anyone stupid enough to buy Bitcoin cash at this point deserve to be ripped off.

Definitely,i do agree with all your points mentioned above.Even i am also loyal to bitcoin and so i just stored my bitcoins in my electrum walled and just wanted to stay away from this piss coin.Even though,i had a chance of transforming my btc to any exchange which supports BCC and get free BCC,but i did't do that since i didn't want to lose my loyalty to bitcoin for this pissss coin.

Segwit2x has a large majority of miner support and lots of businesses and infrastructure behind it, we could still see another split.

I am really confused right now. We all know that it has the same (sort of) name but very different beside that. What I am saying is, when someone say "original bitcoin" I think which one? Bitcoin Cash or the Bitcoin we currently use?

Bitcoin Cash was based on Satoshis bitcoin so we can say that it is the original, on the other side bitcoin is the coin that we used since the start so that is the original. For me, it is confusing to tell which is the original.

I don't find a way for another split from the bitcoin network. The growth happening with bitcoin at present is the normal thing and with the bitcoin cash is the unexpected fall. After this incident I don't find a reason for bitcoin cash to become popular or an new splitting leading to the creation of a new coin. So as the thread title there is only one bitcoin and the same is valuable.

This attempt to steal Bitcoin's name for their altcoin shouldn't be overlooked, because it damages Bitcoin by creating a field for confusion and errors for newbies. Noobs are already mistakenly sending coins to wrong chains, outsiders gets confused by prices (some think that Bitcoin has dropped to $200). This is why we should name it Bcash and pressure exchanges and services to use this name too, and use only BCH as a ticker, because BCC is already taken (even though Bitconnect is also a scam). And if miners will try to fork in November, we should find a name for 2x chain, something like 2xCoin, or GarzikCoin.

You are correct, nowadays discussion about ethereum has been reduced more than 50% as previously talking about. It same kind you example you are speaking about. Bitcoin is just altcoin and no need to worry about the usage or specification about it. Still we know bitcoin is the master of digital currencies. Hence we can ignore the other coins.

    We wont know what is the real motive of that recently launched coin. We can't also say if what you are saying is true or not, we just have to observe what is going to happen or just wait. Maybe it is also an advantage if we move immediately and take the action, maybe it is also right but still we don't know it yet what will happen in the future or as i say earlier we don't know what is their motive, but as far as i know they are launching it for good reasons or good purpose.

Though it has support but I don’t think so it will favor the dumping of bitcoin prices. Prices will rise further because of this massive support. I believe that bitcoins are not dumping in the near future. Furthermore the big support behind bitcoins is not going to let them down anyway.

Yes that is expected by me too. The coins is just given for free and can't gain much price.
We can see the more selling rate then buying rate, this is because many people are preferring selling it instead of storing it. It is the main reason behind the big DUMP for BCC and a good PUMP for BTC.

As of now the value of BitcoinCash is pumping into the $250 level...still short of the $600 it once reached. Many holders of BCH are selling their share of the coin whenever it is already possible to do so. Some exchanges and wallet service providers are still freezing their BCH so that many can not yet sell their share. Once this whole gate is open the value of this coin can go down so low and in time people will just forget about BCH. However, I am still thankful and happy that I got my small share of BCH which I already sold in Bittrex.

This is what i was expecting, this all BCC drama was the conspiracy against bitcoin to bring it down, but bitcoin stand strong because of its loyal users who rely on bitcoin. The rise in price of bitcoin is a slap to the group of people (including investors and miners) working against bitcoin. Bitcoin will stay stronger and will grow more, haters will always fail like now.

BCC was created in hope that it will capture the market faster than bitcoin and it may crash it, whether or not it was their intention. But BCC failed in its win target of capture the market and looks like the conditions are getting worse now. The 16 blocks are too due to curiosity of miners who might have tried it or may be they were the one who are supporting it.

It is now obvious that they can not afford mining BCC because it is not that much profitable and they have to be live in the market. So this was insane decision by devs whoever tried the fork in that way. Cheers to bitcoin anyway.

yes i agree with all of that.  Bitcoin is the only thing that can escape you from in financial problem. Soon, it will be the current currency in our world when it comes to the tradings because of what is happening now a days in virtual world.

Normally it is only one bitcoin in the universe. I agree that it can help us financially and I am one of the living proofs. But when it comes to currency in my country that is a long discussion with our president if he will allow it soon. He has different priorities but less in prioritizing the currency to dollars and the more about bitcoin. So if he agrees on this someday then this will be a big hit in my country and to my fellow bitcoiners.

Don't count on that any time soon, these people are determined and have great resources, they've been losing millions of dollars in mining revenue trying to keep bcash alive, this is not your common altcoin scammer.

I cant help feeling that this is by no means over yet. If Segwit2x doesn't go through, then I can see many miners feeling disappointed and they may begin to turn their hashing power to Bitcoin Cash.... I'm a believer in a stack system - Segwit followed by LN, I'm no big blocker, but I think BCH hit a floor at 0.05BTC - We'll see

BitcoinCoinCash was dumped by many users to claim their free Biitoin. Bcc was juat given for free for the amount of bitcoin you hold before the hardfork and the coin which is given for free cant hit more value as described by you. People would just like to sell it as soon as its possible and try to convert it to fiat or bitcoin.

Its obvious the side of the table OP belongs to and its his choice to hold that believe as well and its also good for you to continue to advise everyone concerning this. However, no matter how you try, those who will still put their money will still do same even on the forum not to talk of those outside the forum that may not have access to this information of yours. I think BCC/BCH will going to crash the value, after what happened in a couple days pumping the price of BCH, now is totally crashing down
the price. Still many of the community in this industry are not entertaining it and not agree with the bitcoin split. Still, bitcoin prevails among top 1 in digital currency.

Obviously there is only one bitcoin, or the mother of all cryptocurrenciea. I think bitcoin cash is just considered as an alternate cryptocurrency, but I don't know what the others may think about it.

People have their own choice. If you only love 1 bitcoin, just use that bitcoin ;) Since I always support the cryptocurrency, I believe that both kind of bitcoin has its own purposes and strength. Holding both kind of bitcoin will give you a bigger chance to become rich if both of them increase the price. The price of bitcoin cash is very low right now. I think if you want to make some profit, buy some bitcoin cash for your own ;)

Yes, of course, there was, is and will be only one Bitcoin and all the rest belong to the altcoin category. The recent introduction of Bitcoincash (BCH) due to the negligible split actually became a big blessing to many Bitcoin holders but whenever possible many of the holders just sold their share of BCH and then of course get the equivalent BTC into their wallets or exchange accounts. There is indeed a little love for BCH even if they literally gave away free money.
