Title: If you ever wondered what 13x 1080Ti's would do, we covered it yesterday

Nice work, I like your channel!

Are you guys still buying GPU rigs, or what is your strategy going forward? ;D

We always are buying different setups, but that is more for channel content and to inform the masses at what works. I.E. we were some of the first on youtube in may with GTX 1070's, GTX 1050 Ti's and GTX 1080's showing performance (many on forums were talking about it, but no real channels were covering visually).

We will do this with RX Vega 56, 64 and Hybrid 64 in the next two weeks too.

Thanks for confirming how stupid it is to spend $9000+ just on GPU's to get 460 MH/s when you could spend less than half of that on 16 RX 580's to get the same amount of hash and better dual mining performance to boot.

Or take the 1080 ti's and mine other coins

No one should mine eth with 1080 ti's

Does not pay

I know how much a single 1080Ti performs so I assume just multiply that by 13.

Even on ZEC you are looking at an ROI of 10+ months just to pay off the cards. I would rather put together RX 570 rigs at 1/2 the cost and an ROI of 8 months.

There are coins that work for 1080 ti's

I can do very low power setting of 50 percent on 1080 ti's and mine them . I earn more with them at 50% then mining zec at 70%.   And no amd matches them.

But I already roi 'd my 12 1080 ti's so earning 3 dollars a card using 130 watts is fine for me.

If you do the math 3 x 31 is 93 per month. 130 watts is 10 dollars a month this is 83 a month x 12 cards is about 1000 a month on free gear.

Of course the coin I mine could crash and burn and I would need to find one or fall back to zec
