Title: How is bitcoin mining different from litecoin mining? Post by: noxbayou on May 15, 2013, 03:23:57 PM I have been able to successfully mine litecoin on an old 5870 radeon gpu. The other day bitcoin briefly looked more profitable to mine. So I tried to reconfigure my setup to mine bitcoin. I'm using the latest version of cgminer. It kept instantly crashing. Could anyone give me some pointers?

To your titles question I would suggest reading this for Bitcoin http://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf For your post you need to give some details. What Catalyst version? What SDK version? What pool? Post the complete CGMiner command line. |
