Title: I am a yoga teacher in Austin, TX.
Post by: noxbayou on May 15, 2013, 03:28:20 PM
I am a yoga teacher in Austin, TX.  Is this the appropriate location to pitch private yoga instruction or would this be frowned upon as spam?  I will edit this post with the appropriate information if informed that this is acceptable. Of course, I accept bitcoin. :)

[Edited to add the following information.]

My website is at http://www.breathandbalancebodyworks.com .

Also feel free to send me a private message if you are interested in my services.  I do have an office/small studio space and I offer great rates for private yoga instruction.  I'm currently set up to take bitcoin and litecoin.  I'm also willing to accept other cryptocurrencies upon request.

This will not be frowned upon by me. You have a yoga business? go to craigslist? Or just create a Live cam Yoga class?

Until such time local forums are created, this would seem to be the correct place to do so.

Good luck! :)

Are there plans to create local forums?

You should think of providing lessons across the web as well, maybe through skype. It may increase the amount of customers you receive, due to you only providing it locally.

Yes, I have a yoga business.  Curiously, efforts to advertise on craigslist have only led to efforts to scam me by email.  I haven't considered a Live cam class, but that is definitely an idea.  I was primarily posting on here in an effort to integrate my business into the bitcoin economy.  I would love to be paid in bitcoin  by someone who is also being paid in bitcoin, etc.

Use something like skype in groups or something? Go to malls and ask the manager of the mall if your allowed to hand out certificates for a free 3-10min massage,  It will help your business. Then when they go to your business they will want a longer massage, Thats just how it works  :)

I will definitely look into this possibility.

I'm looking up information on that right now.

Good luck, namaste

Any tips for him if he attempts this?  :)
