Title: Bitcoin cash (BCC) , beware Traders
Post by: tigerwood0432 on August 03, 2017, 08:24:47 AM
In case you're wondering why the BCC price seems high: It's because no one can deposit BCC to exchanges. Once this changes, expect a crash.

Well, difficulty has now dropped significantly on the Bcash chain, so we should start to see some stability: https://twitter.com/jimmysong/status/892969785532850176

Blocks are definitely being mined faster now. Still no blocks for 1.5 hours at the moment, though. It seems this whole debacle will play out in slow motion... :)

they can actually deposit in a couple of exchanges (have not tested, just quoting). exchanges like ViaBTC are accepting deposits although with a high number of confirmation and that is actually why the price there is about $200 lower than other exchanges. people have been depositing and dumping there, some don't want to risk and wait until big exchanges like bittrex open up deposits and get crushed under the heavy load of dump.

it's not 'Why did you think BCC price would high',but the fact is 'BCC price is ridiculously high'.
just check it by yourself in other market, many exchanger selling this shit around 0.1BTC / BCC or around that price,
but another fact,we can not deposit our BCC/BCH in there.
So,OP warn us to not buying this shit if they can not afford what will happen in the future.
just imagine in,if you buy it 10BCC/BCH that mean you spend your 1BTC buying that shit.
after they enable their deposit,a huge dump will happen and the price goes down to the hell.what will happen to them who's buying BCC/BCH ?

Maybe so, but that's what happened to ETC too. The cat's outta the bag. I wouldn't be surprised if bitcoiners try to dump this BCC coin to hell, but then it just goes through a typical shitcoin accumulation and then moons. Wouldn't that be hilarious? :D

Yes. Slow block times + exchanges not accepting bitcoin cash deposits + market manipulation + viabtc not accepting new registration applicants = artificially inflated price. The real price is on HitBTC and is consistently hundreds of dollars lower than Bittrex values.

To be honest i should have seen this coming and transferred all my bitcoin holdings to bittrex so that i would be able to trade with Bitcoin Cash on a closed economy essentially at an inflated price for bitcoin.

I suspect that dumps will occur in various phases. Each block marks the start of a phase, as new confirmations arrive on the transactions. It's quite hilarious watching this, 1 hour blocks are considered fast atm  :P

BCC prices on exchanges are crazy high = 300 to 500 $ , i expect a crash to 20-25 $

Is it already been accepted on exchanges? (Accept withdraw and deposits of BCH). $200+ price is just as expected and it would really go even more lower once it would really be available to deposit most bch. It will surely dump so hard to the bottom. We should really be aware on this thing.

Another reason for the initial price was pump by the bulk holders. BCC doesn't has potential to sustain its price. Price is already down to $230. Soon when all those wallet holders which comprise of huge volume comes to exchange, price will turn to nothing.

It could have been dumped to 10$ - 20$ if all of the exchanges announced the claim of BCH before. Most of them waited till the users to cashout their BTC to wallets. I would say the supporters will definitely pump the coin so that shirt term traders will buy the coin.Am just holding my coins and waiting for the right time.

that's it if the value will go deeper for sure those big bag holders out there who's still holding their free coins will start to dumped it too
and the value of this coin will go down deeply so better to act quickly and make sure that you are riding with the flow.

It was meant to be sold in the first place because most exchanges had disabled any deposits or withdrawals of bch the coin was able get a really good price because of the limitations of deposits and withdrawal on most exchanges the price difference is by $400 but as it's getting more stable you are surely right the price is going to drop. Let's hope bch still retains it's current position.

that mean if one cannot deposit bitcoin cash to exchangers you can not convert it to bitcoin or other altcoins. I am forecasting a great upwards price movement for bitcoin comming week. Buying bitcoin cash at your own perry.

Price is already crashing hard, However I have successfully sold some of my free bitcoincash above $400 and moved those fiat to ETH and Bitcoin. BTC price is already pumping hard while marketcap of BCC is vanishing in thin air.  ;D

In a matter of hours, the price lost +50%. Give it a few weeks or a months max and you will see it nowhere on Coinmarketcap. Its destiny is the graveyard, I told it already, and I think I am ready to make a bet... 5$ max ;D
So far I wonder why exchanges don't enable deposit and withdraw, or what exactly are they waiting?

Via enabled the earliest but deposits have been enabled for more than 12 hours on Yobit and Bittrex, I'm pretty sure most others would have by now. With the former, they had an issue with address generation. Volume was really small during the highs anyway, so even if people had been able to sell off BCC early, wouldn't have had made a lot with small orders.

Well almost everyone anticipated that some problem might occur, but there is no need to seek more we get a free money and that's more than enough we just need to be fast as it looks like its turning into dust.

The scenario of Bitcoin Cash maybe as Ethereum Classic, after long time stand still in lowest price. Ethereum has increased many more from under 0.001 BTC to 0.009 BTC/ETC in 6 months waiting.

You're absolutely right, but unfortunately, people don't look at it from that side. Just look at how many people are going nuts on Coinbase for not releasing people's BCC sooner.

I managed to sell 8BCC at nearly 0.11BTC per coin, and I am extremely happy with what I have gained. I never looked at the initial price as being a serious market rate.

It was obvious from the very beginning that when people would start dumping their coins, the market would literally sink down like a rock ~ and looking at the price right now, that's exactly what happened.

This is not the first thread that calls for avoiding this new alt-coin bitcoin cash. Do we really need to be aware of this alt-coin? After reading
so many things about bitcoin and other alt-coin most of them had comments in negative context. What is different now?
As I understand they mine bitcoin cash now, at least some miners, and with time there will be more, so maybe its better to wait and see
what will happen before any actions. I do not have any bitcoin cash, I am buying some new ICO`s and I do not know is it a good time to
get in bitcoin cash in early stages, I will think more about it.

The main purpose of this thread was to make people aware of why its price is trading at higher levels, and not so much about its technical aspects. Initially I was surprised about exchanges allowing BCC trading so early on, while the network itself was clearly not ready for it. This coin should never be a tradable asset when they don't accept deposits, it's that simple. But when you think about what's really important for exchanges and services nowadays, then the profits they take from fees are the one thing they specifically aim for. It's pure greed -- money over everything!

Look at the price right now for bitcoin cash was crash that i think there are some exchanges site can sell their BCC and i think spec more people and traders who are holding a lot amount of bcc they can dump more bitcoin cash..
This thread actually help for those who don't know and now bitcoin is more in demand and more price increase and hope that sooner the price can be increase until $3k value until all BCC converted into bitcoin from BCC holders. .

I think the price is crashing because the free coin that they distributed, the people who aren't interested in BCC sell all of the free coin they got and that caused the price falling down sharply, and seems like BCC is not a favor for a lot of people, Bitcoin still become a lot of people choice, so BCC will keep on struggling and Bitcoin will slowly rising up

Just like what we've predicted, not die on arrival but crash after deposit bch allowed. It is free money, that's why people will sell it to get cash instead of keep bch. A coin could rise up because of its usability, most people like the idea of anonymity, untraceable, low fees or used in specific sectors such as eth being used to funded many projects relate to altcoins. Traders should be deal with profits and loss, so whoever has bought bch at the peak is in big loss right now.

That's right, free coins will not last long. They will just throw it away quickly. Struggling to get BTC by selling BCC continuously. BTC will continue to improve, and the more confident the future of BTC is very bright.

Well its already started. There's been a huge decline in bcc price for the last couple of days and i don't even think a lot of exchanges accepted bcc that time. It would be a big gamble at this point to invest in bitcoin cash.

That is a obvious thing to happen. BCC or any other coin you take of it is not on an exchanger then there wont be any movement in its price. Just take an example of bitcoin analysis from last week. When everyone knew we can not transact the bitcoin or it is not advisable to transact bitcoin in the period of august then the price of bitcoin was completely frozen and there seem no movement in its volatile nature.

This you can take as an example to know what can happen with BCC. Anyway now some of the exchanges has started and you can convert the bcc right away. This will crash the price of bcc now and will probably increase bitcoin price on positive side.

Absolutely, once tading platorms open trading for BCC,all BCC holders would immediately start dumping their BCC for whatever rate is available. All they need is just some extra cash.No one is ready to hold this shitcoin with them. But even aftr some platforms were now opened for BCC trading, its taking very long period to get confirmed. So,mining BCC has also become difficult.Every one knows that BCC price is sure to crash completely but just expecting when that crashing process would get totally completed.
