Currently market cap is around 100 Billion , what do you guys think it will be by the end of 2018 ?
My guess is 1 Trillion , any thoughts on this ?

Maybe 200 Billion max.

Should be around 300 billion by then because 1 trillion is not that impossible but it is far from the truth. Not that it is false but it is really far to think it will reach that amount.

I think 250 billion. let´s see. Maybe OP can make a poll. 1) 100 bill 2) 150 bill 3) 200 4) ...

with another upcoming fork from BTC and some other proposal for regulations of crypto currency in the market like AML/KYC. a big 50 pecent gain of market capitalization is enough . my rough guesstimate for total market cap will be around 150 billion US dollar. 200 billion market cap is quite big at the end of fiscal year of 2018. 1 trillion market cap is intended for the "1 Trillion Club". crypto currency couldn't reach 1 trillion cap IMHO

Well I think 1 Trillion will reasonable in 2018, but if the technology Blockchain in 2018 make many company and banking interesting it, one racing technology blockchain will beginning and the marketcap of crypto world I think can reach to 5-10 Trillion is possible.

It will be nice to see the major coins get their old highs back from about four months ago.

Facebook alone has a current market cap of around $350bn.

I don't care to predict where the market will be at the end of 2018 but I believe that in 'the future' cryptocurrencies will play a vital and mainstream role in our societies and could therefore have an incredibly large share of the overall economic pie.

My guess is 180B-300B. But it's depend what will happens with BCH and is the current prize only a hype. In my eyes it's only a hype, so it will be much more closer to 180B than to 300B

200B would be great, but 150B is more likely. We won't get to 1 Trillion for a couple more years - which is a good thing. Sustained growth is better than explosive growth and than falling down to almost nothing, any trust destroyed.

keep in mind guys the market cap in 2016 was only 10 billion hence my logic of it 10 x again especially with main stream adoption

No not 1 trillion but 15 trillion lol. I am sure that it can be max. 150 billion. End of the 2018 is very close, talk about 2020

In what ways is 1 Trillion even closer to what you have thought of?
Any special reasons for that or just taking a guess out of nothing or BCash is your base for saying that?
BCash value is extremely high and is currently being served only as a pump and dump coin, after all this shit settles it would get us nowhere but 200-210 Billion max if Bitcoin continues its rally and makes a new high above $5k.

my guesstimation is based on certain coins achieving real life applications along with mass adoption ,
if that happens and some of these coins catch on in the financial sector like , OMG , RIPPLE , to name a few
and if some of the other interesting ones like siacoin catch on this snow ball could turn into an avalanche real quick

I have another non-scientific method of analysis. Bitcointalk is probably the biggest English language crypto forum in the world. There are bigger forums discussing protein shakes, boyfriends and Mickey enlargement. IMO this is a hugely untapped world! :)

Im just concerned that the Start ups we are investing in in these early timee will be replaced by new ones once the Market is more mature.

200 million will arrive at the end of 2017 / beginning 2018

I do not know whether at the end of 2018 it will come to 1000 million, but in 2018 it will certainly touch that figure .... then after a violent dump will start off that will make out so many oxen and goats.

When I first read this I was thinking the end of this year, so would have said yeah 1 Trillion is way to high and 200 Billion would be way more likely. However, 1 Trillion, while a lot of money, is only a 10 fold increase from where we are at right now.

Another big factor IMO is that it is no longer just a Bitcoin driven market-cap, and BTC's share has fallen to below 50% of the total crypto market-cap value. So with the growth in the entire crypto space and with serious outside interest developing in moving larger institutional investments into crypto to take advantage of the better opportunities versus traditional investments, 1 trillion in a 16 month time-frame may be well within reach.

so in hindsight many tokenz that survive now until then could experience a 10 x fold increase ,
some considerably more , we just gotta pick the right horse to survive until that jump

I think the market value in 2018 should reach 200 billion, and now the market value of Bitcoin has more than Tesla, I believe that soon will be more than the market value of Apple Inc.

I think it will be minimal 250 billion and it might go far beyond that already. But anything can happen 1,5 years is quite long :)

Well I guess there will be a big crash in 2018. The cap wont raise a lot.
