Title: Help, what's the mean of this? Thank you.
Post by: poolsleeper on August 04, 2017, 03:59:57 AM
I have not paid attention to bitcoin for about 3 years.
Several days ago, I download bitcoin core wallet(0.14.2). After it synchronized, I imported wallet.dat backed up before.
Then, there is a record in the transactions history.
This is the detail:

Status: 0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool
Date: 2014/2/20 17:02
Credit: 27.71976616 BTC
Net amount: +27.71976616 BTC
Transaction ID: b5cdb9ddfa95b92fbacc3d4d34e829680f953d8e06871ba6d8d714b941f5bb68
Transaction total size: 523 bytes
Output index: 0

The type is received with.

what's this mean? Does it say there are some bitcoins in transaction but I have not got them?
Thanks!

It was a transaction that was broadcast but, for whatever reason, was never confirmed on the blockchain... there is no record or history of it. You could try and get the raw transaction (use getrawtransaction b5cdb9ddfa95b92fbacc3d4d34e829680f953d8e06871ba6d8d714b941f5bb68 command on the help -> debug window -> console)... and then try rebroadcasting (sendrawtransaction CopyPasteTheHexFromGetRawTransaction)...

Chances are the inputs have already been spent in other transactions... but you never know ;)

When I use command 'getrawtransaction b5cdb9ddfa95b92fbacc3d4d34e829680f953d8e06871ba6d8d714b941f5bb68' , it says:
No such mempool transaction. Use -txindex to enable blockchain transaction queries. Use gettransaction for wallet transactions. (code -5)

Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks.

Nope... that transaction effectively does not exist anywhere anymore... The only record it ever existed is the unconfirmed record in your wallet :-\

Just in case, back up your wallet.
