Title: What is the future of Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin?
Post by: exodusminer on August 04, 2017, 10:03:06 AM
Hi guys, do you have any educated guess on how will Bitcoin Cash improve in the future in comparison to the original Bitcoin?

Is bitcoin cash gonna have real world use?

it is a little hard to say.
BCC doesn't really have the community support and the price of it will be the key factor in the near future to determine its long term future.
as soon as people can make deposits on major exchanges to sell it, the price will crash without a doubt simply because of panic of crash and recovery from a crash takes time.

all this time miners won't waste precious time on little amount of money with a huge loss! there is a good chance they will leave and that leaves the chain vulnerable and that can simply be the death of it. imagine a couple of successful 51% attacks! and that can crash the price even more leading to more miners leaving...

Truth is there no comparison at all when it comes to Bitcoin cash with Bitcoin. Only some speculators hyping about Bitcoin cash in order to create some panic in later stage and cashing out them self's using that fear factor. So I never thing we should focus that much on bitcoin cash.Just leave it alone. If at all things change in future than we may consider it.

I just read the message coinbase sent around 2am today. That is a good news for us storing our pennies there although I wasn't expecting BCC to be credited in my accounts as they advised us to withdraw our funds.
They have done a good job, congrats...coinbase team

You must be realized about the fact that bitcoin cash doesn't have real usage or implementation in our real like bitcoin. My thought that the bitcoin cash just another crypto related to the altcoin type. Too many miners do not mine the bitcoin cash due to the difficulty of bitcoin cash already hardest than bitcoin original. you can read the latest news about bitcoin in various source.

hey exodusminer! Fair call! Yet, despite that, a number of Coinbase investors say that they aren’t overly concerned about the pushback, while the overall future of Bitcoin Cash itself is unclear due to its vulnerability. Principally that’s because the fork has the same mining difficulty as Bitcoin, but a smaller fraction of its hashrate. Hope that helps.

For me. BCC is just a valuable altcoin for a short time and does not tend to increase as it is not chosen by investors as altcoin for long term investment. I think Bitcoin still dominates the Cryptocurrency market because Bitcoin is the first industrial revolution in the world.

I think the next fork maybe the one to watch. BCC literally came out of the blue without planning or preperation. Had that happened many months before the fork, they would have been able to build up support before the event. If that had taken place, its possible that BCC could have become a majot threat to BTC.

It is funny that another hard fork of 16M block-size is incoming. Without a solid developement plan, these fork coins will evenetually be forgotten.

I am afraid to see Bitcoin Cash behind Bitcoin or ETH. Because if BCH would continue to race with Bitcoin a possibility to have a BTC/BCC  flip could happen. This could crash the crypto market and altcoin market.

So while its early, stop supporting BCH!

If Bitcoin forks again then more mining rewards would have been paid to Bitcoin Cash (unless it too splits) if you split the $2,693,687,596 equally

Pool how to assign miner rewards until August 2017

When you compare those two together, BCC will lose. Actually any coin would lose against Bitcoin. It doesn't matter if it's safer or quicker. The only thing that matters is trust. You gain trust, you will succeed.

Certainly Bitcoin still dominates Cryptocurrency and BCC is just a buggy version of Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin has more potential than BCC because BCC has no route to develop and these altcoins are free.

Thinking off that no one could really able to defeat or beat up bitcoin as of now. We might see the hype on BCC coin but now its over its price start do dump now. I cant say that there is really a competition among these two coins since they are just both the same .. Its still bitcoin but on an altcoin way :) We should really not compared these coins and just let it along the way as long we do believe on bitcoin.

Bcc will come up again when btc has bad news when segwit, whales will release bad news when segwit approaching to lower btc down and put bcc up.
I had bcc and sold them all for $ 534. Then I used that money to buy nxt. Some people laugh at me for that. Now I'm waiting to buy bcc for $ 100 :))

Here the exact reason of the making of bcc coin is only for tye fee system and faster transaction , In the bitcoin there was small limitations of speed but here the BCC will recover all the limitations that were exists in the bitcoin network .
So here the purpose of the bcc to get ease with the virtual money not to go in the cash ( fiat like things) .
But all this depend upon us that how we want manage it because if we have a market where everyone accepting bitcoin then ofcourse we can make deals with btc with fiat cash , but if there id maket where we can make deals with the bitcoin cash with fiat cash then also we can make deals , so all this depend upon makret and market's demand , here nothing is sure but quality is gaurranty of success that the bitcoin , bitcoin cash , eth , dash like coin are doing well .

I think there is no future for bitcoin cash because it is just created because the man called roger ver wants a free coins that can give him a fortune again aside from this bitcoins. Bitcoin is the real one and i think there is a bright future for bitcoin because a lot of countries already made it as a legal currency which allow the people there who uses bitcoin to buy things with their bitcoin.

We don't know right, but in my speculation I think BCC was fluctuate as altcoins while bitcoin is originally the mother or heart of crytocurrencies. Maybe the bitcoin have a bright future however, I think bitcoin cash was lack of supports from users to excel as altcoins.

As much as we dislike BCC we must be fair. Bitcoin took so long to get recognition. And it did not have Competitors. We cannot say for sure its future as a coin. But as a competitor to BTC, it must fail. It is only a little superior until BTC scales. Not unique.

it will be like any other alts but for sure like other alts they can still get noticed since each alts have their own use and they are used in specific projects that can pump in any time soon.

There's always a chance of conspiracies, major miners and pools initially pretending a complete dismissal and no support for BCC, until most of it is dumped and price hit rock bottom, only to miraculously announce a change of heart and start providing support or exchanges suddenly opening markets for it like Coinbase announced yesterday?
Just a thought.

I don't think bitcoin cash will have any affect on the future of bitcoins. We can consider it just like an another alt coin, but has smaller community and business support. Most people are yet to claim their bitcoin cash, and once they do might end up dumping it for for bitcoins. Lets just wait and see.

The 2 MB block size will not resolve the issue with transaction confirmation for ever. After a few months, users will find that even the increased block size is not enough. Then another round of FUD will start, and the talks of chain split will once again gather momentum.

A third "fork" that no one is expecting (https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@anonymint/re-anonymint-re-anonymint-shocking-crisis-coming-to-cryptocurrency-in-sept-20170801t155822006z) which steals a lot of BTC??

Being a physically used crypto (buying coffee, food, cab rides) was already perfected by Dash with instant TX and the ability to be anonymous like cash.

Fair enough. But is that the point of BitcoinCash?

Did you read my prior comment (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2064639.msg20661095#msg20661095) where someone (not me) posits that the objective being to steal BTC via a third "fork"?

There are debatable faults but the point is Bitcoin cash doesn't even have any attempt at anomity. It's just quicker blocks which isn't enough for real world use when competitors are leaps and bounds past then.
Excuse me, I understand that this one only has bigger blocks but not more quicker, for example The UAHF Technical Specification of HF only describe among other things that fork block must be > 1MB configured to at least 8MB at startup, but I do not see anything that indicates  or at least it must be assumed that its should be faster, even considering the difficulty adjustement in case of hashrate drop where the proof of work target is increased by a quarter, or 25%, which corresponds to a difficulty reduction of 20% is even much slower than BTC at the present time, subject to check the timestamp between both chains,if we compare the height between them  479366(BTC)    478681(BCH) anyone can realize that even BTC  is faster than BCH is since HF happened.

I am not understanding that why most of the people are thinking that bitcoin cash is not useful like bitcoin that acchived the success in the internet market .
Here don't forget that the bitcoin cash is made by the same team who made the bitcoin , so here just wait to launch the official wallet to handle bch coin , and then you will find what the bch coin is .
According to the official news sites it is claimed thst bch network will be more faster with less fee then what bitcoin is .
So here you should make a thinking in your mind thst it is a bitcoin which is launch in 2017 instead of 2008 ,and you have a better chance of investment . And don't get late .

Here the price is not much high because here the main reason is the no available official wallet by the blockchain network team , so most of the millionaires are not buying bch for long term .
But as the official wallet will announce to launch , the price will pump with the great extent , so you should ready with the BCH coin to have in your account of any exchange , and if you will do the same than i don't think you will loss anything because herr my opinion of expected price is 0.5+btc/BCH coin because in the future this coin will.lead to the other coins like the Bitcoin .

Possibilities is always there and we wont really know on what path would BCH would take later on. We cant really point out if it would fail or remain to its place or would really progress later on.Buying on bitcoin cash on cheaper price would be a sweet spot and we cannot only make money on doing short trades since its price is somehow volatile as of now but also on long term theres really a possibility.

Bitcoin always become number one, others only follow. But every coin has a chance to become the best, even many of them become scam or dump. As long coin has supply and demand, there's a chance to replace another coin position. When and how they become the best we don't know and just ignore it, because it doesn't matter. Take a good coin and replace our money with money management are an important thing. Good luck.

When it comes to bitcoin cash I really don't have a thought about it. We'll others might say that there is something to grow with bitcoin cash but the majority are staying to bitcoin. There might be some confusion from the people outside the crypto world who doesn't even informed that the fork happened as they can treat bitcoin cash as the real one.

In my opinion and study and thinking skills bitcoin cash will be more better than bitcoin , Here nothing is guess because here the trsm of the bitcoin blockchain can't make much experiment with the bitcoin because if anything will happen wrong then a big economical problem will arise innthe market of internet , so probably they will make a better technology with much improved system in BCH coin and will make it more better than bitcoin so that it can be used in the future in perfect way .
And also According to the few better sites articles the bitcoin cash transactions will operate at vert small fee with faster confirmation than what we have in the bitcoin .
So here we can say may be the BTC will be the new bitcoin for us where our work will be more simple and more faster than what is wity the current bitcoin .

BTC isn't for BCC. BCC vs ETH. They are in one class, I think they will compete and soon one of both will win. BCC against BTC will take too long time. BTC price is above 3300 USd BCH is only 10%.

I actually don't know the future of bitcoin cash but i think it's like another altcoin and if you compared to bitcoin, of course bitcoin is far better than bitcoin cash imo. I don't think bitcoin cash gonna have real world use, even bitcoin can't be used in real world on some country, maybe it can in the future.

Hi guys, do you have any educated guess on how will Bitcoin Cash improve in the future in comparison to the original Bitcoin?

Is bitcoin cash gonna have real world use?

I actually don't know the future of bitcoin cash but i think it's like another altcoin and if you compared to bitcoin, of course bitcoin is far better than bitcoin cash imo. I don't think bitcoin cash gonna have real world use, even bitcoin can't be used in real world on some country, maybe it can in the future.

i don't think too much about this because in my mind as long as bcc can give me more profit, then i still use bcc in daily trading but if bcc is getting dump too deep, then i think that is the time for me to buy bcc. i think in the future, bitcoin and bcc will work on its way but its depend on the community of bcc, if they want bcc still alive, then they will give support with bcc.

I saw a thread on reddit which said that BCC's future depends on the miners. It's one of the few profitable coins that can be mined with ASICs, which means some miners might be tempted to switch to mining BCC. If they do, BTC will start producing blocks at a slower rate (at least until the difficulty drops), and that might prompt USERS to switch to BCC just to be able to send money in a timely way.

It's too early to tell, but that scenario sounds plausible.

It's really hard to tell, the Bitcoin part of the story started when mining pools and companies voted to incorporate a technology known as SegWit2x to be able to make the amount of data that needs to be verified in each block smaller, and also there has been talk of doubling the size of blocks in November from 1mb to 2mb, which they say would give ways in improving Bitcoin’s scalability. On the other hand Bitcoin miners and developers equally concerned with the future of the cryptocurrency, decided to start Bitcoin Cash. I think they somehow believe that SegWit2x didn't address the fundamental problem of scalability in a meaningful way. It's hard to tell what will happen, we just need to wait and adjust accordingly to what's going to happen in the future.

I don't think Bitcoin Cash has a good future, because they lack competent developers.

I dont think there will be a lot of user for bitcoin cash, there are a lot of rejection where we can see a lot of dumping after the people got the coin for free, only time can tell whether bitcoincash is going to become people's favor, but now bitcoincash is struggling to survive

Bitcoin cash does not have community support. Some BTC holders welcomed BCC at first just to have some extra cash by dumping it.Its just an altcoin. It has only survived this much days due to support of some big shots like viabtc.Otherwise,it would have almost lost its value by this time.

Bitcoin Cash is just an altcoin. Coin Flip ATMs will not support anything other than Bitcoin core (BTC) which suggests that only Bitcoin has the highest liquidity in the world of cryptocurrency.
