Title: MTGOX: RFC Post by: kiba on December 03, 2010, 10:35:03 PM 1. Please implement trading fee calculation so that we don't need to make an additional mental calculation when selling and buying on the currency market.
2. Your transaction history doesn't include processing fee for 40 BTC from testing. Is that a bug? 3. legitament should be spelled as legitimate. https://mtgox.com/merch/about 4. Your interface for sending bitcoins not using mtgox is flawed. It should keep user on a waiting page for six confirmation to pass -OR- take a risk and accept payment with 0 confirmation. 5. I am making this forum post because you are sporadic in your response on IRC. I know that you're not doing it full time but it pains me all the same when I cannot launch my business due in part because of someone's non-responsive behavior. Please respond to the concerns listed here so that I can make decisions and make plans for my business. Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: jgarzik on December 03, 2010, 10:38:22 PM 5. According to the mtgox.com website (https://mtgox.com/support/contact), email appears to be the preferred method of contact. I do not see any mention of IRC or bitcoin forums on there. Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: FreeMoney on December 03, 2010, 11:08:18 PM Somehow bitcoincharts has the whole order book and mtgox does not, even on the mega chart and order book. It's ridiculous.
Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: LobsterMan on December 03, 2010, 11:53:47 PM At the time I am making this post, mtgox is not allowing me to sell bitcoins. Other people in #bitcoin-otc on freenode have also experienced the same thing in the past day. :-\
Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: TTBit on December 04, 2010, 01:07:55 AM I don't like the tone of this post. I have nothing but praise for MtGox.
Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: mtgox on December 04, 2010, 01:13:52 AM LobsterMan: You should be able to? Can you send me an email explaining what is going wrong?
Freemoney: Mega Chart does have the entire order book. That is where he is getting it from kiba: 2. There isn't a fee for sending funds 5. Like I said on IRC your notify_url wont be hit until the transaction has 6 confirmations. Are you sure it isn't being hit after that? Yes email is the best way to tell me about bugs or feature requests. Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: FreeMoney on December 04, 2010, 01:22:58 AM Is there an option or something because I'm seeing an abrupt edge at 18.4 cents and bitcoincharts has bids down below 6 cents. What am I doing wrong?
Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: mtgox on December 04, 2010, 01:26:59 AM you are right it is just on the real time mega chart. Don't worry I'll post the entire order book soon.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us (http://imageshack.us) I'm not getting it there either. Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: semyazza on December 06, 2010, 08:48:08 AM LobsterMan: You should be able to? Yes email is the best way to tell me about bugs or feature requests. Regarding the hitting of the notify URL. Do you have a sandbox setup that can send an immediate notification? I have code written for integration for your site and would like to verify everything is working correctly from my demo server before I go live. Title: Re: MTGOX: RFC Post by: mtgox on December 06, 2010, 12:11:27 PM BiddingPond: Sorry no sandbox. I'd just put it up on a non-public URL and try. There is no transaction fee so you aren't really losing anything.
