OK, so is anyone from steemit involved in creating this?

I'm not quite understanding the need for this when steemit seems to operate fine with video/picture sharing.

Can you elaborate what the differences will be?

thanks for your feedback. No, no one from Steemit is involved in this project so far.

We believe in competition, great UI/UX (for mass user adoption) ,  a fair upvote system and additional features which we outline on our website and which will be specified in the Whitepaper.

That being said, I personally believe that Steemit has some weaknesses and that Steemit is not focussed around photos nor videos or messaging.

Presale goal is to get 1420 Ethereum in total and 28.85 ETH have been contributed so far. It is also showing countdown for ICO round with 6 days and some hours. If you don't get the presale target will this continue till the start of main round ? What is hard cap for this project I didn't see it somewhere mentioned.

1. Yes the Presale has a max. cap of 1420 Ethereum.  There is no minimum cap (Presale) the project will go forward in anyways and the ICO is going to happen.  Please see the usage of Presale funds here https://socialx.network/presale/ (at the bottom)

2. We have a hard cap in the ICO, but this will remain hidden till the ICO is finished.  We are preparing the ICO page as I write and it will be published the next 48 hours.

Haha, some things about steemit truly suck.
Maybe some competition would be good but steemit has that first mover advantage...

But if you can provide some key things steemit is missing. Ex: messaging, better friends/follower locating, and ofc a fair voting system.
