So reading that :

- 60% of all BTCs adresses represent 0.01% of total BTCs
- 90% of all BTCs adresses have less than 0.1 BTC so less than 280$ at current rate
- and only 1800 adresses represent 40% of all BTCs...

it's usually exchanges and mining pools that have the biggest throughputs and balances, but there are some very loaded individuals out there. if they're sensible they won't have it all in one address.

That is really unfortunate that with most fat addresses we need to guess whose address is that, but hey, it is just a feature of BTC.
Also, because of near infinite number of addresses we may generate, there is not need to keep Bitcoins on only 1 address - which makes difficult to pinpoint exactly net worth of bitcoin holder.

Most of these are exchange cold wallets.

Realistically, there are lots of addresses that have more and we simply don't know about given they are not public.

this site gives you ALL the existing BTC adress because the total amount is really the right one (16.5M BTC...) so you have all ways of BTC storage...

Well I can see that there are also a lot of small traders or even different addresses are made every single transactions. Probably i can see that those are some accounts in the forum of whom each has different addresses. Even if we total the other addresses with .002 or more, .001 average is still too many and probably there are others accounts that was used for single transaction only.

that is how bitcoin works. blockchain is a public ledger that contains all the transactions that has ever happened. if you know how you can simply write a code to get all the information such as how much bitcoin belongs to what address.

and that is what that link in OP is showing.

what you can't tell is that who does these addresses belong to. for example many of these addresses containing a large sum of bitcoin belong to services such as exchanges.

A very interesting link. Most of these addresses look like cold wallets, and they have so much BTC. Wish one of those were mine  ;D.  It also means that many BTC are with only a little number of people, and people like us  might be the ones below 1 BTC.
