haha me too. i happen to start watching the price like a minute before it broke $3000. and within like 5 minutes it hit $3150 haha. that was awesome. over 50 billion marketcap for the first time!

I don't know how long this is about to stay. But otherwise I just have to keep on holding and this is now the start that speculations are going to reach $4,000 and higher. I'm not thinking for now with the dumps or any decrease that is going to happen very soon. But I know there will be the time that it will be dump but it's just for  a short time.

I am considering to sell mine, I was actually planning to hold too, but still not sure.
Most likely, I will only sell my mining earnings due to me wanting to earn back the money I used for the GPU.

This is a totally a all time high I think there will go to 3,500$ and start dumping again. So be carefull on buying Bitcoins now. because there are risk of dumping and you will become trap. So many trader waiting for a good posible price and once they hit that price the mass sell start and the panic is now on.

I watched it go crazy infront of me lol. People are still waiting to dump their BCH, plus I bet there are some people waiting for that "dip buying opportunity", so more money should be coming in!

Well it's a big reward for all those who had holded Btc or just bought after the 1 St Aug event . Well the prices seems to be rising at unbelievable pace and hope so it keep on rising . Because  if it dips then it will a big crash in the market and may fall 500 points down .

$4000 indeed.   And I just noticed that CNBC is covering crypto, including the bch split and subsequent crash.  Crazy, I had no idea bitcoin was getting mainstream coverage.  That says a lot to me right there.  Big money has probably started to move in, meaning wall street guys.  There's no other way to move a market that's worth billions like this.

Yes, the bitcoin course is improving, jumping. An hour after the record, it was 3098, then it dropped to 3023 dollars, and now it is 3068. But, all of that and its rate raster after August 1. We hope that this will continue.

Wooooohhhh! I was shocked when I opened my wallet and saw the current Bitcoin price. It is really a new all time high! To those people who are saying Bitcoin is dead, where are you now?! Bitcoin is now rising to the moon! Ready to take off guys!

I wouldn't believed if I didn't see in at average $3113.42. People are still claiming BCH and dumping it to buy BTC now. I hope that this is not just temporary or artificial because we may see people pushing the selling button for this price.


The choice to really hold bitcoin is a one good. The dividends are paying off. But we still need to be patience more as we can see it move to $4000 very soon. If the price still hovers above $3000 in the next few days, then I'm expecting it to push to $4000 at the end of the month.

Just don't think about the dumping sequence for now. We have to wait for some more moments to see an increased ATH. But if you think that you have enough and you already had profit.

Better to keep your profits and make your decision to sell now no matter what how much it will increase later or tomorrow accept that you had profit.

It's a bit too steep there might be a small correction soon. 5K by the end of the year seems likely to me. To bad I don't have that many bitcoins.

I am also asking this question and I am very curious to be reaching how much increase in bitcoin prices now, because I'm still hesitant to sell bitcoin now if the price keeps increasing, I'll be very be chagrined.

I know right! I am expecting, investing and observing bitcoin a lot. To all those people that told me that this is a scam. Shame on you and goodluck if you earn. Well me I am earning much as of now since I started pursuing bitcoin. I think after the $3000 break it will go $4000. I am expecting this to happen. And after many days or months bitcoin will pump again. And I hope that it will stabilize by now. If that stabilize. Many people will be so much happy for them to trust bitcoin and didn't believed in FUDS.

I have just exchange my bitcoin to usdt and wait for a next dump ;) I believe that I can collect more bitcoin around $2900. Then, bitcoin will hit $4000. Bitcoin is keep moving up without being stopped by anyone or any obstacle. I hope that this year I will earn a huge money from bitcoin and Bitcoin will become a part of this year. The world will soon accept bitcoin in the payment system.

  My calculations when the price first hit $1,000 a few months ago was that we would get over $4,000. I must say I was surprised that we did not truly cross $3,000, but totally thought the bubble burst anyway and this to me is absolutely shocking. We were under $2,000 on BTC-e not more than a few weeks ago and now over $3,000. The price went up 50% in literally 2 weeks. Incredible...

I don't see any dump in the coming days because Bitcoin investors were playing in BCC market and since they earned profits with it, they are now done with it and coming back to the investing mode. I am expecting a bullish run for until $4K mark which would be there within next 4 to 6 months yet there will be some unexpected ups and downs till that milestone but I am expecting a smooth ride in the year 2018.

Being more patient will get you to riches very soon. As the time goes by prices of bitcoin are keeps on increasing. Let's just hope that this is going to be the new floor price of bitcoin and this is the new stability price of it. $3,000 is not a bad price for having 1 bitcoin so if ever it pumps, thanks and if ever it dumps $2,500 is the landing price.

I could not make sense of it, and even though the division is taking place, it is very surprising that the price increase is so high, I think it will not exceed 3000 dollars, the price will decrease.

They're always saying that. BTC has died a hundred times and risen everytime!

People see bitcoin cash dying and realizing that bitcoin is going to survive in the long term. There is also no more uncertainty about a hardfork or about how the protocol will develop scaling solutions. This rise is long overdue in my opinion.

I think that it's a pretty steep and sudden change that won't last too long, probably going to correct itself at around $2800-$3000 soon and stay there for a while. By the end of the year there might be another pump like this one.

Honestly I can't see any sort of dumping happening for at least another 3 months or so. The price is actually completely normal in my opinion considering that the 1st August was basically rendered a non-event, and bitcoin cash is established as an altcoin instead of a fork.

But if the price goes to like over $5000 in the next 2 weeks then it's a bubble. No doubt about it. Bubbles are going to burst, sooner or later, but i don't think that we are currently in a middle of one. There is a lot of healthy trading activity going on.


I don't think so. usually when bitcoin breaks an ATH it will go over that high by another $200 or so, that's usually how it goes.

So have many expert predict the price of Bitcoin can reach to $100.000 when the marketcap of cryptocurrency have 1000-10.000 billion. This is the time the price of Bitcoin stable and the market will be as stock market or forex in current, just for trader know technical analysic.

Oh boy, oh boy! Big ass grin here too when I woke up and see those beautiful numbers! Can't even help myself and I actually sang "the tide is high, but I'm holding on" LOL :D. And what's more exciting is the numbers just goes up and up. I really think we can see $5000-$6000 this year no doubt about that. I cannot contain my excitement right now. today, finally bitcoin price breaks $32xx and the price still increase in many exchanges. finally we reach new level price and this is my first time to see bitcoin price is reach $32xx. i am happy to see this and i think i will prepare to set some order sell and make sure i am making profit for this. congrats to everyone which has sold their bitcoin todays.

Reaching a new ATH just proves that the market sentiment over the past drama about the fork is slightly turning into a positive one. Also, the money made from BCH looks like its being poured down to BTC, which is a good thing since it will push the price more.

If this momentum stays, we might be seeing $5000 by the end of this year. But that's just me throwing random prices out there which is clearly attainable with this kind of positive reception.

In my opinion, I think the price of Bitcoin in next few days can reach to $3500 is possible. Because after breakout strong resistance line at price $3000 in today, Bitcoin have much support and stable high than price $3000. I analysic chart BTC with Ichimoku and see the bullish just beginning, first target is $3500, second is $3700 and third is $3900-$4000.

I would like to see for how long the price will stay above $3000. I really hope it stabilizes there and doesn't go down to $2000-$2500 range. I don't think we are close to hit $4000 in the next 2-3 months though. I do hope I turn out wrong.

This new ATH is great and all, but the greedy bastard in me is more looking forward to even higher ath's before being satisfied, at least before this year is over. Not that I'm impatient and not enjoying the current state of things, being a longtime hodler.

I bet bitcoin will reach around $3600 before start to drop back a little bit, but I doubt it will fall below $3000 if people aware of segwit.
Remember when Litecoin segwit activated and it rise from $5 to $50 within a month or two, same situation will happen with bitcoin.
I would like to see it reach over $4000 after segwit activated and pity to those who sell their bitcoin earlier.
