Bitcoin price is now going high..and it getting to be closer to 200k - 1 btc.... What do you think guys is it will be a trap or it is really going to a higher price?

What could be the trap? The market is too big for an artificial pump and dump. Pump, maybe...but that doesn't mean an incredible crash will follow.

The key thing to look for in the bitcoin price is how the price responds after a significant pull back, like with in days of the pull back. With bitcoin, almost every time you'll see an immediate bounce back up. Not to the previous levels but a definite sustained bounce off the bottom of a drop. Do you know what this means? It means there's money on the sidelines waiting for a discount to buy on the cheap. It means investors believe that bitcoin will go much further in the future...they're just waiting for a good price.

It happens every time and its a very, very good indicator for a long term growth/appreciation.

Trap ? I don't think so,
But,Iam expecting another pullback because of BCC/BCH existance but the market movement didn't say so.
Then i believe we will try to hit another ATH and then retracing back,but i doubt it will happen if we really hit another ATH right now.
It's not that i am ungratefull or what,but if i was you i would like to know and wait a bit more about market movement so i can make a conclusion about it.Because so far,after chain split i can not see any pullback sign from it.
May be we will see another 'Big Play' and after that retrace ?
or buy it and hold it (too much think about it will make us stress,so just hold it like a boss  ;) )

Well it us good for us to know that the bitcoin price is going high. It broke the $3000 range. And I think it is aiming for $4000 or so. Maybe we could see bitcoin at $4000 at the end of this year. Yes, maybe it could be a trap or could be stabilize. But just put your hope in bitcoin probably it will go up. TO THE MOON Bitcoin. I really believe that bitcoin could go to the moon as for this moment of pumping. Can't wait for bitcoin after a few days and I will exchange my coins to bitcoin.

Without a doubt its price will continue to goes up and it will continuously going up.  If we will compared its price before, its price now is way way higher even there were ups and downs.  It is very competent and will continue to be the best digital currency.  It is becoming more popular and making its way to be recognized in the entire world.

For sure, bitcoin in the future will really get higher. Where many of the bitcoin enthusiast are also waiting for this things, actually right now the price value is increasing according to the demand of the bitcoin users.

Never thought of any trap. Besides, it is normal that btc price is getting higher everyday. We are witnessing the after effect of August 1st and everybody is happy. And I'm taking back what I said yesterday to my other posts that we will not reach the $4000 mark. Clearly, I have underestimated btc and I am glad that I kept my btc before and after the segwit.

Price increase keeps on continuing. Right now the growth of bitcoin cash has started to drop gradually. The price of bitcoin has crossed $2900 and soon we can reach $3000 in few weeks time. Maybe by the year end we will reach $4000 and reach $5000 by the starting of the upcoming year 2018.

I agree, it is above  $3000 and this price can increase in the next days

As i see most of the times bitcoin price goes higher than before. So, i do not think of this as a trap. I would really like to go with higher price also because who does not want it anyway, you will earn more as you actively participate here in bitcoin.

I always find it funny reading through freshly popped up threads at the time the price goes up or down. It perfectly displays how people here are changing their view on the market and Bitcoin based on how the price is moving. It isn't that long ago where the sentiment became slightly bearish when we briefly dipped below the $1900 level. Some people were already speculating about sub $1000 levels, where the price after that went up and peaked at the $2800 level. And guess what, the bearish sentiment was gone instantly, and people suddenly started to forget about all the negativity around the 1st of August. Seriously, what's the point of investing in something from which you don't understand how its market works? Oh wait, it's not actually investing, it's gambling.

Actively participating and learning should be a proper key in earning more in bitcoin, well all investors really like the price of bitcoin to get high but a number of newbies and just only starting with bitcoin are thinking that they are really getting left behind by the enormous distance because of the price, and yes the higher the price the higher the amount of money you will be needing in buying bitcoins.

In this case i don't think this is trap, Bitcoin prices in the day to day fluctuate sometimes up and sometimes down it is normal. Bitcoin is not the first time to break at $ 3100, formerly the bitcoin price has ever been over the current recent price. And it lasts only in a day and then down again with the that I do not think is a trap even that is good for bitcoin users.

It might be a relief rally because people are pleased that teh fork went off so smoothly. Most of us on this board held our coins because we wanted the BCC, but some of the Wall Street types probably moved into fiat during the lead up to the fork because they didn't know how it would go. (If you've been in cryptocurrency for a few years you get used to the constant drama and ups and downs, but for investors coming in from a Wall Street background, this is volatilty and unexpected events like nothing they've known before.

This is not trap or trick for buyers. Simply btc price should go higher for a long time and cant find exact opportunity to pump prices on market.Everything is delayed due to hard fork.

Well said. Btc has had pretty good price recoverability. It's nice to remember too that in 2013 most exchange operators, programers and who's who sort of public people in the bitcoin world were generally predicting 6-10k  to even 20k price ath for that bull run. The price didn't quite get there in 2013, but now I think there's a pretty good shot of the price reaching this sort of range.

And by the price of Bitcoin Cash in past days make most trader interested it. Actually the price of Bitcoin can increasing after SegWit in August 1st activited, but it delay until today (-_-)~

Yes, rumors of a fork in the market had a very negative effect on the price of bitcoin for a long time. But now there is nothing that can hold back the price. And so we see a sharp rise in prices

If anything, I'd rather call it a knee-jerk reaction. Many people have been massively converting their BCC tokens they received for free into fiat. And now when things cleared up a little (read the regular Bitcoin seems to be winning), folks have started buying up the genuine Bitcoin with the Dollar Cash that they received from selling Bitcoin Cash. Unless the cartel is going to pour really insane amounts of fiat into their stillborn coin (which is unlikely, at least, not for a long time), it is going to kick the bucket pretty soon, in a matter of weeks if not days (in fact, it was dead on arrival)

Yes, bitcoin prices will keep on going high as the biggest hurdle is all set to get solved. I do not find any immediate stopping for bitcoin prices, probably we may see $5000 levels by end of this month. Demand decides the value of bitcoins hence going high must be real.

200k? Let's wait for a month or two and we'll see if this is just a trap or an hype made by the whales or the BCH profit takers that did jumped and invested to bitcoin. But I hope that we are now stable at this stage so that we will be having a celebration once it reaches $4,000 and it will go on. Waiting for bigger pumps before this year end.

The bitcoin price as of now is very high and it will become 3500 dollars sooner. Before august 1 I said that bitcoin price will become 3000 dollars that my speculation in the last few weeks or days and thats truly happen. I think so bitcoin now was unstoppable, I'm pretty that bitcoin users were happy due to continuously  increasing of bitcoin value in the market. I'am looking forward to the future value of bitcoin that's why I hold it and preserve it.

Bitcoin price as of now continue to increase and I think in the next few weeks it will increase more. Possible price of bitcoin for this week become 3500 dollars and it is possible to happen because the price of bitcoin as of now is already 3200 dollars.

This is good news that the price right now are starting to increase more and i think its normal to increase because of the improvement of the speed of transaction and the decreases of the miners fee for every transaction.. right now expect that it will increase more value after all people realize to get bitcoin cash and dump to get more bitcoins.. that i think is 1 of the reason why the price is increasing this day..
Sooner or later we will see more price increase but remember there are whales there and expect that the price will crash but hoping people will not panic selling..
