Title: Splitting bitcoins
Post by: O4karitO on August 05, 2017, 11:38:23 AM
Hi, folks.
Could anyone please explain if it is possible to get the same amount of bcc that you have in btc?
So that you have bcc+btc?
I mean logically I do not believe in it but after reading about it I'm confused.

I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on the subject.
Thank you very much.

P.S. hopefully I'm writing in the correct thread.

Yes, it's possible to have BCC in the same keys you had BTC in before the 1st. Read more here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059111.0)

Thank you for the fast reply. From what I understood if my bitcoins are on a certain trading website (for instance, 1broker) then it is not possible, correct?

Answering my own question - no it is not possible.
