Bittrex require 20 confirmations to pay your Bitcoin Cash. I notice my deposit has been stuck on 15 confirmation all day. Anyone shed any light on this? Has the Bitcoin Cash network ground to a halt or something?

This is normal, it could take 24 hours or more to get the 20 confirmations you need.

Otherwise, just relax and check in on the confirmation progress tomorrow! You'll get there, have faith.

Thanks guys - I guess I was just getting concerned because 10 confirmations cleared yesterday and then 10 to 15 took a few hours but now its gone really slow. But like you say you just have to wait.

Not you again? Maybe you could just relax a bit an put your feet up? Once it's confirmed, it's confirmed.

Almost everyone is complaining regarding the transaction error, I think they're having a system failure as almost all of the holders want to deposit and sell immidiately, just wait for a while I heard others wait over 2 days since depositing.

Really? A 15 confirmations could take a day? But mine only took 30 mins to 1 hr for it to go to myetherwallet? It is 36 confirmations. Why is yours is only 15 confirmations and took a day? Is that legit?

Hi i have same problem,i send my BCC 15h ago and i have only 11 confirmations and its staying like this for hours now.
Now in last 30min i get 2 new confirmations.

It's amazing how people don't know how coins/blocks/mining/confirmations works and insist on messing with these things.

1 Block = 1 confirmations

We all can see the blocks. You can't say that got 36 confirmations in 1 hour, That is bullshit.

Average time per block (last 20 blocks) - 99.2 mins, so if you send your BCC to Bittrex now expect +30 hours to get 20 confirmations.

It's possible to get 2 confirmations in a short period? Yes. There is luck in finding blocks. Some blocks may be find in seconds, some may take 4 hours.

It will be always like that? No. Difficult is too high for current hashrate. Keeping an average of 99.2 will drop the difficult. When? 8 blocks from now.

BCC is slowest coin now,whan diff will lower could be faster.It depends will miners like to mine bcc,if not bcc will die fast like supernova in space born to die

I find bittrex takes forever to load / unload deposits and withdrawals. Give it a good 48 hours then I'd contact support.

Hope they ban you for being too stupid to use crypto currency.

Hey give us a break OK? These are legit questions and its great to get very helpful answers from some people. I thought the idea of a forum was to discuss and learn. Many people on this forum adopt this attitude and make this a great experience. You don't need to troll people and put them down all the time.

I am slowly getting there and at 18 confirmations there.

The best thing to do for now is forget about it. It might really take a long time. There are so many of you here sharing the same concerns. Remember that BItcoin Cash has just been accepted in Bittrex. There is no serious problem I suppose. You can sit back and enjoy some coffee for now.  ;)

20 confirmations for a coin that at the moment is slower is a bit of excessive, in my opinion.

But at least people will have plenty of time to think and won't panic and do stupid things without thinking

Yeah my payment to bittrex is also pending from a day. Even the pending status was displayed after hours of sending BCC.

My transaction also stuck at 15 confirmation for 3 days now but from wallet to Bitfinex.
