Title: Norton AntiVirus recognizes most BitcoinCash wallets as Viruses. Bad scanner? Post by: badboyrazor on August 06, 2017, 04:48:51 AM I went to the bitcoincash.org website and used their links to download wallets like ElectronCash. Norton is recognizing them as viruses. Are they really viruses or is my antivirus scanner just acting dumb?
Please note: I clicked the electroncash site from bitcoincash.org so there is no way I was directed to a false site. In my case my antivirus doesn't detect it as a virus, so I can say that it is safe to use assuming that you really downloaded electron cash wallet on official link. For now just turn off your antivirus before using bitcoincash wallet.
