hello guys,

I wanted to ask you your opinion about the current situation, what kind of hardware I would invest the most and what kind of currency it is worth to dig for now. We plan to invest 100-150 k. Euro. The price of electricity in our region is about 0.09 Eur. But we have the opportunity to buy video cards with 30% discounts. Thank you for your advice and opinion.

cards are at premium prices.

if you purchase 150k in cards and retail is 300 a card you would be paying 210 a card.

the cards would sell at 400 in many cases  that would mean quite a large fast profit if you sold some of them.

we can buy any card with this discount, but we don't want to sell them , we want mining cryptocurrency.

According to this fellow mining isn't profitable, but he keeps building 100 rig farms :D

If you buy 150000 in cards more then you need

sell  50000 in cards  for 70000  you are 20000 ahead

and your original  150000  has already returned you  70000

so the 100000 in cards you did not  sell  only cost you 80000

Which in effect is a 30% discount  and then a 20% discount on top of it.

You also have  70000 in cash from the cards you sold  to buy motherboards psu's cpu's etc also rent a space for your gear.

You should be selling some of the cards. You can have all the coins that you would want if you only had 50k euros. I would also reccomend you buy 1080ti's as they will have the most resale ability in the future as they will still be solid graphics cards.

I keep reading about folks wanting to invest hundreds of thousands.. And than eventually you will never hear/see anything about it.

And then I ask myself.. If you have that kind of money, why not invest it in real estate or something else other than crypto currencies?

If its true , Then its probably better business to buy those cards and sell them :)
It’s impossible to buy anything but the most entry level Radeon graphics cards right now.  Global shortage and inflated pricing true for some nvida cards also. New rx vega series cards staring to sell soon , we will see how soon those cards going to disappear from the store shelves :)

if you invest 100k euro for those cards and selling them with 30% profit , you can make 30K euro within a ,month or less :) the demands for those cards are crazy , as everybody want to mine coins now :)

lol I'm surprised OP didn't do the math in his head. I would keep buying cards at 30% discounts and selling them. Profits can be used to buy coins directly and keep the circle going without ever spending your own money. A few rigs is one thing but a farm is a pain in the butt to maintain. Especially when you need to sell all your cards and upgrade to new ones.

If you have 100k to spend, you can prolly get even more % discount when buying GPUs from the manufacturer.

If they have any overstocked cards for sale YES :) BUT when there is a Global shortage and inflated pricing Probably NOT ;)
