Title: Super low transaction fee Post by: whereyamamiat on August 06, 2017, 05:50:44 PM So I use paxful to purchase and then sent to my other wallet..lately their fees have been pretty low but today takes the cake.
18n2fTXZP8VDhjP5cReMqJxDHDn1Te3K2x So low I can't even accelerate it! Any other options other than waiting and praying it gets confirmed? Title: Re: Super low transaction fee Post by: TryNinja on August 06, 2017, 06:17:09 PM First of all, next time post the transaction ID and not your address.
Here is the tx: f2db4d2bd8a8fbdb9454b41825e2c77f97583ce3596ae68f54d47f2d6945bb29 You will need to wait until the transaction gets confirmed. According to this site[1] I found a thread today, 5 sat/byte is a hour fee. But it's not accurate. I believe that you may wait 1 day to see if if gets confirmed. [1] https://www.bitcoinfees.online/ https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ 21.co's fee computer is much more accurate and in-depth if you want to estimate your fees. If they placed a low fee, you should try to accelerate it using viabtc's accelerator (if they still have it after this bch fiasco). Or, if you know how to do parent-pays-for-child (or whatever that is called) then try that. Title: Re: Super low transaction fee Post by: alani123 on August 06, 2017, 06:33:24 PM Unless paxful has options to raise fees on your transactions then there is not much that can be done, especially since it's a service that doesn't provide users with private keys of addresses. It's all up to them.
Title: Re: Super low transaction fee Post by: Hazir on August 06, 2017, 06:55:32 PM https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ No, it appears that they won't have it anymore, ViaBTC transaction accelerator seems to be gone for good. If I want to access it: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ (https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/)21.co's fee computer is much more accurate and in-depth if you want to estimate your fees. Or, if you know how to do parent-pays-for-child (or whatever that is called) then try that. then I am getting "404, Sorry, Page Not Found" Furthermore even if the service was still there, they have a limit of the initial fee which needed to be used in a transaction first. Op's transaction appears to be under this limit - so no acceleration would be possible anyway. This will require a little more time. Your transaction has 1 confirmation. IMO 120 satoshis/byte is WAY more expensive than it should be. I have been doing transactions with 60 satoshis/byte and none of my transactions took more than 1 hours to get confirmed. If they placed a low fee, you should try to accelerate it using viabtc's accelerator He can't. 7 satoshis/byte is too low for their accelerator to accept the transaction. I believe that the minimum is something like 10 satoshis/byte.OP's transaction already got 1 confirmation. I believe that it took 1 or 2 hours. Pretty good for a 7 sat/byte transaction right? |
