Title: [BT3] Bitcoin Testnet Abbreviation Post by: crazy_rabbit on May 16, 2013, 12:32:55 PM I propose that the Bitcoin testnet abbreviation be "BT3" or "Bitcoin Testnet Three". The reason is that the current Testnet version is version 3, which will help identifying it from older testnets and in the case that testnet is reset to version 4. (Version 3 would continue to exist however).

& the coins should not have any value whatsoever. This is why they keep resetting it. We would very much like to refer to testnet coin as something other than "BTC" in our wallet. BT3 seems like a good choice.
