Crypto is not only easy, it has a lot of benefits and can be applied in numerous projects. This is old news but crypto will undoubtedly be used for money laundring due to some protecting your anonymity. This is why i think money will come pooring in while it is a lot harder For them to put it in stocks or other things.

Well you're right this is not a new news but so is money laundering in btc. But it dont think btc is that illegal. For some reason cryptocurrency is a fast growing community so there is a high chance that many people has used it in illegal ways but cryptocurrency also gives profit to people who has no jobs. It helped a lot of infrastructure already in the internet. So it depends on the user on where they would use it. Sometimes crypto is a saint but also the devil in some ways.

Yes, and i don't encourage criminal practices and rather not have them gain on their bloodmoney. However i do beleive that it is up to every single one of us to do good with what we acheive or do bad. I prefer the first one! New Laws will have to be made, interesting times ahaid. Whenthe commotion starts people who start investing now will have a descent profit by then.

No one is calling you crazy though but it will surpass 13 trillion and it will surpass even more than that and it is crazier. Because crypto currency is the future of money in trading in digital world but FIAT will always be there its just that crypto will bloom for the next years.

and that is the problem. the cryptocurrencies (altcoins in this case) are not really being used in anything serious. they don't go outside of the scope of an exchange. they remain there and be traded only. that is why many say "they are only for speculation."

in fact the only reason bitcoin is not dead yet and instead it keeps on rising despite all the attacks from all sides, is that it is being used in real world.

this means as long as altcoins are like this, you shouldn't expect much out of them.

i think it is more of a misconception from cryptocurrencies and money laundering. money laundering is not just "hide your money somewhere then it becomes clean". it is a lot more complicated than that.
in simple terms money laundering means doing something to pretend the dirty money you've earned was earned through legal ways. and you do NOT want that way to be anonymous because you have to prove the way used.

This is possible but would really be a hard thing to achieve and its too way far thinking off that cryptocurrency would surpass huge market of forex. Trillions marketcap wont easily be achieve for sure and it takes time on reaching out because investors would really stick up on legal ways than on cryptocurrency which is anonymous and theres still assurance on engaging with it. Its possible but would really be a hard thing to consider.

If you had tons of money that you need to give a safe haven, would you hide it or would you put it in a secure system earning more and more each year? Time enough to think about what to do with it.

i don't think it can happen. because altcoins are being pumped and a pumped coin only has a limited lifetime. and for years we won't see anything else other than pump and dumps in altcoins. even some good altcoins like litecoin are getting pump and dumped.

and eventually people will start understanding that market cap means nothing for cryptocurrencies and eventually that will become just a number that people pass by without looking twice.

I would say that less than %1 of money laundering is made with cryptocurrencies also money laundering is one of the hundreds of factors which lead to a increase in market cap. This is just a beginning 100 billion is nothing, but 13 trillion total market cap could be reached in 5 years easily.

to be honest, you are not crazy, the hype of crypto currencies has start, many people from foreign exchange move to crypto world, i met a lot of people which start from forex and now end up in crypto and ICO, even there are so many shit ICO out there.

Possible but not probable. The odds are very much against this and even if it does happen it would take a very long time. The forex market is on a whole other level compared to the crypto market.

I can't imagine this happening even in my lifetime. (in 50 years). That is too crazy. If that happens lots of coins would make holders new rich, just like gold miners and oil searchers of the past.

crazy things happened in crypto market all the time, lose and profit usually sudden in crypto market so this can be call crazy thing  ;D

First the race to 200b market cap has begun.

I don't see why not it could go to 13trillion, it is just 100x from now. A couple of boom like this spring and here we are.

I also think eventually the cryptocurrency market will surpass Forex. Forex closes during weekends, crypto doesn't. Forex requires all sorts of annoying verification, crypto can provide you with worldwide trading with an email address only. Crypto is a growing market and is very addictive and there are real chances to get rich, contrary to Forex which I think it's way harder.

With cryptocurrency there are a lot of young kids that aren't even adults yet getting into the trading game. A lot of people are learning about technical analysis thanks to bitcoin and altcoins. As the older generations I can see millennials becoming experts and putting their money into this market and it surpassing all other markets combined.
