Title: Is my GPU slow at mining?

I have an AMD Radeon HD 6450 it is mining on average at 18.5 Mh/s, is the speed its mining at okay or how can i improve thee Mh/s rate? ???

Hey dude.

That's not too too terrible.  27 is listed over here for that gpu as a good score:  https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

Are you running at 20 intensity?

Also, I'd mine one of the alt coins if I was you.  You MAY be able to scrap together a coin with that low amount of hashes, but with BTC, I think . With BTC you are looking at about .02 coins a month. And this will quickly go down with rising difficulty.

With an alt coin you can make more coins which are then more fun to mess around trading with on the exchanges IMHO.

I peaked at 19.5Mh/'s but i dont think i can go higher,my GPU isnt that good i think :/
Tell me more of this "alt coin"..? :)
