First, emails; then social media, and digital banking. I think those are the biggest things that internet changed in our lifes.

I think blockchain will be the next and the biggest improvement of Internet. Am I too optimistic? What do you think?

Technology blockade was, of course, the greatest achievement of the Internet. She, giving people a digital currency, has changed the way people think about people's currency and mutual settlements between people. The owner of the crypto-currency became the real owner of his money and ceased to be from banks and any third parties. This makes the digital currency and its blocking technology the greatest achievement of the Internet.

I think blockchain is now the biggest invention of the internet. The program itself is very good and almost impossible to hack. Satoshi Nakamoto is really an internet genius. I hope that he reveals himself to the public to get all the credit about it.

Beyond the web itself, hard to say.

What about video games, they were pretty influential to our society and they definitely made my life better. The blockchain and Bitcoin, in my option are some of the biggest and best inventions on the internet.

In my opinion, they weren’t just inventions to the internet or the way we use money, but it brought light to a new methods of thinking and that changed a lot of people’s ways of thinking and spending money.

It also made me a bit richer and gave me some fun selling and buying bitcoin, and I guess it also gave me a way of earning a bit of extra money from signature campaigns.

I would place e-commerce in that list too. E-commerce has made a drastic change in the way we purchase things and reduced the margins of the middle men. Blockchain (and Bitcoin) has the potential to cut out the middle men involved in our finances.

I think you are totally right. Blockchain is already used in different areas of the economy and I think it is just beginning. Everybody attracted to Bitcoin cause of it's price, but the main thing here is Blockchain technology which is going to change the worlds economy.

Blockchain is not limited to internet, it could work with any network, and in theory even without networks, like with couriers and stuff, but would be a pain and the transactions would be, let's say, slow. Blockchain may run parallel to internet if needed. Only the current implementations are dependent of Internet.

Not the biggest technological invention as of date, but definitely one of the biggest inventions in general since the past decade in my opinion (excluding medical and pharmaceutical inventions/dicoveries, ofcourse). and I think bitcoin, or blockchain technology in general is at that stage the same as the internet before whereas only technological savvy people are the only users of the internet, and hopefully bitcoin and blockchain technology in general would be newbie-friendly in the future like how newbie-friendly the internet is right now. The future is looking bright.  :)
