Choose 8 project and invest $50 each. If you like high risk investment choose your portfolio from under $10M market cap coins which are not pump&dump coins.

Buy extra!! More WAVES & NEO! I'd do a 50/50 split.

Don't list to all these idiots.

Go for NLC2 and Safe Exchange coin... You will have 10.000 dollars within 3 months.

Don't do that! Chances are 6 of the 8 projects will fail and one or two will succeed. I would suggest splitting it among 2-3 projects at the most.

$400 is not enough to split 8 ways and expect any kind of serious profit.

SAFEX has a high supply of coins?

What do you think both coins will be worth within 3 months?

I say invest only on the top coins in the coinmarketcap. I think it is the safest list to choose from and put your money in. Waves is also getting a lot of hype lately, you can look into it. I have nem, it is a good coin too for long term investment.

More than 2 billion coins. I would estimate they will be worth 2 cents in 3 months... That's the same thing they are worth now btw ;)

Didn't want to split into that many projects, I already have my money into to many different ones (like 25).
But I'm open for new ones, need to cut off some others  ;D.

Don't have any BTC's yet, so maybe put some in that?

i think if low volume transaction this mean very low marketcap is not good investment
if volume transaction is low this mean dev is not active in market

What are your preferences? do you wanna invest in long or short term? you didnt said that. Assuming that you are gonna go for long term, i would personally recommend Ethereum, monero, zcash and waves. Not only because of their growth potential, just because their strong community and dev.
Now if you dont have much time and wanna quick profit, you can go for short/mid term with Siacoin, digibyte, emc2, and stellar. just because the same as the others, good team and community, also because they are the new "solid" newbie coins.
with those coins you can make a solid portfolio with your preferences.

Good luck

Never invest in garbage, low volume altcoins. You may lose that $400 in a blank of an eye.

You can buy around 80 waves for $400 at the moment. Or maybe you can take risk and try STOX, PAY or METAL. These are good ones. STRATIS AND NEO also other promising ones with high volume on the market. With high volume, you can sell and buy coins easily without wide spread.

What do you think about the link in my signature? BitDice ICO look`s like a good opportunity for all of us, I invested my money in that and couple other ICO`s. In one moment I will make a nice list of my
investments, I mean I have it already, but when I finish with all my plans I will post it on this forum and we can keep track of them together.
About other coins I can not say much, there is so many alt-coins and it is hard to keep track of all of them. On first look most of them looks just fine, but how to make a difference between good and bad
alt-coin I still did not learn. In speculations there is so many different threads about best alt-coin to buy, I am reading, re-searching about them, but still I did not make any moves and I can not say when will
that be cause now I am busy with this casino ICO`s, in my opinion that can be something good.

Waves sounds good. I know the op said it is already there but maybe something from $400 is still worth to be invested in it. I would strongly recommend dogecoin, because it's cheap, fast, safe and has big community behind it. I guess I would've invested most of money in it. And perhaps now is still good time to buy some litecoin till it didn't go to the moon.

No purpose and no potential. The community is large, but mostly kids. Check out their Reddit, it's a fucking monkey playground.

Look for (2nd generation) coins, coins that actually have use cases and serve a purpose of some sort, other then posting dog memes the whole day. lol. Same as Digibyte, shitcoin too. Started out really cool, but the Dev went MIA for a month, leaving the community guessing.

But from the two coins, I'd think DGB 'might' have a chance if the devs get their asses in gear.

I agree almost entirely. Everytime I hear someone suggest Dogecoin as an investment, I can't help but giggle at how bad the advice is. I would personally skip DGB too.

Jup, however, everytime it hits around the 0.00000400 range, it gets pumped hard and then fades out again for weeks. Ik dumped all mine around that last big pump, then I got tired from the community, 20% future, 80% fail IMO

If you still interested in investing your money... you could try the ICO market, for starters you can have a look at https://enjincoin.io/ which is the first of its kind smart cryptocurrency for gamers and has a network of over 18 million gamers which makes it one of the largest social gaming platform and good investment.

PoS 3

What else? Note: no other coin is similar to XSPEC.

There are many altcoins that have the potential to experience price spikes in the future. ETH, Waves and LTC are altcoins which for me is very profitable. You will have the possibility of earning an incredible return later.

Before investing your money it is good to do some research of what is best that will give a sure return of income. So I also prefer waves and eth because I think it has a bright future. Also, invest not only in one altcoin that is dont put your money in one basket.

Choose from among this list:

ETH
ETC
Waves
NEO
Strat
XVG
XRP
DGB
LTC
SC
BAT
and of course, BTC! There are a lot more coins out there for you to invest in. There is nothing much to be worried about. Just pick some from the top.

Don't necessarily buy what is hot right now... but what will be hot in September / Oct / Nov...

Consider the development rather than the current hype...

TRST is seriously undervalued and is likely to see a spike.
The development team for WeTrust (TRST) includes a couple of guys who were deep in at Google by the name of George Li and Ron Merom. They are working towards a finance model for banking services to be used in the mainstream which utilises the ancient concept of a ROSCA  (shared pot by trusted circle) which is still popular right across Asia. It allows access to capital on a group peer-to-peer basis and is good for lumpy income or special time of need. This is embedded in south east asian cultures. I think the Indian, Chinese and Viet market will go crazy for this.  Think of “village banking” :
https://blog.wetrust.io/how-do-trustcoins-work-593a0c26c478
This will prove to be highly successful as the team progresses this to the mainstream. Reading between the lines it appears that the Dev team may have retained links and/or may even be working in league with the tech giant, Google.  (No proof yet but I’ll keep digging) Anyway do your own research on this one. I’m adding it to my Asian collection (NEO, XEM and OMG)

Waves for the win.
Just doing great now in the market, even there's a dip now many are taking this opportunity to buy more, hold and gain more profit. Undervalue coin and low market cap but definitely foreseeing a future.

NEO is the number 1. XEL just like golem and it couldn't go higher like antshares. even the gas coin was better than elastic coin.  ::)

XEL already go to the moon but remember antshares already go to the pluto.

Antshares is a really promising project for OP. or centra. 8)

That's not true.

1. XEL has the better product, they have their own programming language for users
2. They are way further then Golem
3. Beta out now, Final coming soon
4. They are on the road presenting the product, getting feedback, making it even better

Elastic > Golem (by far)

Signatum (SIGT)

Website looks neat and the coins vision is bright and honest.

Signatum (SIGT) can definitely rise to $50-$100 million within 6-12 months.

The value of your $400 investment would then become between $2600 and $5200 with the current price.

XEL is flying in the sky currently. It has some potential of given profit to its supporters. But I think it is not the right time to invest and it because as you have said, it has already taken off. If you are to invest into something that is already touching the sky; why not Bitcoin then? I would like to suggest him bitcoin due to its promising nature.

Yes, SIGT is a good investment. It's mining rewards cut half a few days ago but the price still growing slowly now. If you were to invest with your $400, this is a good coin.

I have a few ALTS already, but want to invest some more.

Does anyone has some good recommendations to look in to  ;D?

Thanks!

If you want to just put the rest into a single coin, definitely go with AiCoin. It's comparably safe and sturdy against market volatility due to it being largely driven by a Machine Learning algorithm.
If you want to spread the money, Waves and Sia are always good and haven't really spiked much since August, or newer projects like Blocklancer and Presearch, which both are quite promising looking long-term hodls.

Invest in XEM/NEM you won't regret it I swear or you can check their projects to see what they are up to now. Waves is also a good coin to invest in.

NEO seems quite tempting for us to buy in large amount. He is potentially promising altcoin benefits right now. With high trading volume then the chances are getting bigger. Or maybe on OmiseGO, by following his direction we can also achieve big profits.

Sold my NEO and OMG with profit, hoped for a weekend dip... But not yet happened.
Will buy back when the price drops and hopefully going sky high after.

That is a classic mistake, when something is hot most likely there are no longer profits to be made, you need to enter when the market is cold, someone that bought bitcoin when it was 1800 just a few weeks ago is probably making a fortune at the moment.

ETC is very cheap atm to buy. It is going to jump till minimum 700k satoshi when btc raise stops. Barry is working hard and all the time there are very good news about the project.

There are numerous altcoins that have the potential cost in the future.Ethereum, NEO, Litecoin, Stratis are altcoins which for me is exceptionally beneficial. You will have the likelihood of acquiring an inconceivable return later.

Ethereum is already expensive, you will get some profit but no chance for a lambo. If you want the new ethereum take a look at LISK

This is like an improved version of eth and designed to be used by the masses e.g. uses javascript rather than unknown custom languages.

I agree with you man, ethereum is so expensive so I think it is a good investment to altcoins. In the other side you can also, invest to other altcoins if you want but make sure that the trends of price you select is increasing to avoid lost of investment.

Ethereum is core for many of projects ICO fundraising, it does make sense if ETH is that expensive but the amount is still flexible, you can buy even with just 1$ but unfornately it'll just fade by the time you send the transaction or will never be able to be moved to another wallet.
But still, seeing that many alts crushed by BTC, better to invest right now, all of them red and seems to be a great opportunity.

If you have 400 dollars in your pocket I suggest to invest your money to waves coin and for sure you will earn a lot of profit in the future. Because this coin have investor and those investot for sure will invest their money  to waves coin so the price will increase. So its better to buy more waves coin . I believe before end of this year the price will become  100 dollars . More waves more money to earn.

If you want to play it safe then those coins are great but if you really want to make many times your investment then I think ti is better to invest in new projects or in promising coins that have a very low value and that can skyrocket in the future with a good team of developers.

More interested in ETH and XRP as an altcoin has potential to have tremendous growth value in the future which certainly provides great advantage for our investment. There is also Waves which is currently very low price.

Things like metal, waves, stratis, ark, ethereum etc.

I will also suggest him eth and waves. They are doing great among altcoins and are showing potential of making huge profits in the near future. I will highly recommend going for these coins. Neo can also be added in the list for it is also not bad. Rest is all up to you. Study yourself these three coins and then decide to invest.

I agree waves is a great coin but I think that for those that want to have good earnings in the future the right thing to do is to focus on coins that have a market cap that is not as big that way the price can really pump in the short term and your profits will be better.

You can buy almost 1.35 ETH for 400$, you know Ethereum's all time high was 400$. When it goes up to 400$ again you can earn 140$ (0.35 ETH). If you want bigger multiply you need to bet on low marketcap coins. But which one pays better, who knows? I usually suggest diversifying but 400$ is not too much to diversify.

Of course waves its a good investment at the moment, but i think this is more for long term, i dont think it will have a big pump soon, maybe it will in a year or so.
By the way, which coins would you recommend to invest? I am looking at coinmarketcap and at all the charts, but i dont see profitable to invest in altcoins in this moment.
If you have an advice then you are welcome

More risk more reward.
200 dollars to guppy (matchpool),
100 dollars to ixt (insurex),
100 dollars to waves.

Guppy will go to the moon :)
Waves is good investing everytime and nobody knows what will insurex do :D

I suggest your 400$ invest for only two or three alt coins.Waves is most popular alt coin at this moment and NXT is so high growth coin for future so you can buy only waves and NXT and finally you can get profit must.

I think zencash is severly undervalued right now, it's a good time to get in. Soon it will be where zcash is. Privacy coins will be more highly valued as time goes on, this one you can get in early.

Also xspec, same reason, get in early, privacy coin.

You could also invest in a POS coin and get the stakes, waves is the one everyone suggest, but $400 won't make you much stake, I would suggest rain.

Rise, very undervalued, once they start hosting projects on their blockchain it will go far. Hold in your wallet to get airdrops.

yeah waves has a great future and it will go to moon in the near future but i think investing all in the waves is not a good decision. there also many other coins i think some of the coins that is less than $10 and has a great future. i think tenx , safex and IOTA. i hope they will go to the moon in near future. i am expecting them for long term investment and hoping for their great future.

Most people will say to invest on Waves but altcoin market just pump and dump they will pump if have good news and update with the coin and vice versa. Would be better to search by yourself instead of asking like this, if you lose your money you shouldn't be regret with your own choice .

Are u aiming for a long term or short term profit. If your answer is long term you can add some more waves to your portfolio because it is almost a must for it make some big jumps in a year. Just like some people say you should also do some analysis yourself and maybe you will see  some good ones which others could not.

I don't agree. Waves has very slow development team and their wallet isn't that good. Ethereum is far better investment for future.

both coins have its own time to rise up as it was happen before so I think if you will split your investment not only with this two coins but also
considering other ico project then you are good to go just what many always said use your own research and analyze all the project and see
your advantage.

What do you mean by saying that ETH is not as expensive? ETH has the second largest cap besides bitcoin if that is not big then I do not know what it is, ETH can go even higher but to consider the price of ETH to not be expensive seems like a misconception to me.
