If you had 10k euros to invest in cryptocurrencies, how would you diversify them?

Well, Bitcoin would be the obvious choice but since you wanna diversify and BTC is too expensive right now, I'd say Ethereum (both ETH and ETC), DASH and maybe some interesting new coin like Crypviser (CVC).

$10k is really good sum of money;

I am currently holding 50% in bitcoin, 20% in fiat (USDT), 20% in ETH and around 10% in different alts including gbyte, etc, xrp & many more.

But I am also a day trader so I keep on moving money from one alt to another based on the daily price movement.

Yeah I had around $3k a few months ago and I bought this:
88 Stratis
121 Waves
1.58 Eth
0.09 BTC
54 BNT

I had a topic about this and everybody said it was a good idea. Obviously, it wasn't. It fell to $1200 in a short while and now it is around $2300. You just never know with this shit but I am positive it will turn around soon again. Just, not so quickly. I could have earned a lot more if I had been earning interest on this money, yet in a few years time I may strill be thinking this was the best investment ever.

Whatever you are intended to buy, you need to buy Bitcoins first and that's what is its superiority over everything so Bitcoin will always be the first choice of an average person who knows and understands it. If I want to grow my Bitcoins, I will definitely diversify my portfolio and invest in some real promising ICO projects rather than going for current available coins because after delivering their work, ICO projects give from 5 to 100 times return sometimes.

I am planning to diversify it in this way:
20% BTC
20% ETH
20% LTC
20% NEO
10% GNT
10% SC

What do you think?

Let's start with 10 000 EURO as you said. I would seperate 1500 EUR in fiat money. I would invest 5000 EUR in bitcoin. Then 1000 EUR for ETH and the rest is 2500 EUR on hand. Now it's time to take a decission for selecting the right altcoins. This way you reduce the risk of investment.

GNT and SC seem completely useless projects to me, you should invest those amounts in BTS and XRP as both have big potential and are being traded very cheap atm, so there's yet a chance remaining to get in as an early bird and catch the odds.

Can you explain your opinion? why do you consider them completely useless?

I would like to know his opinions on SC and GNT as well (I'm invested in both).

I would diversify into ten if I have that amount of money probably the top 10 coins in coinmarketcap.com will be my choices since those are one of the coins that will might be grow in the future.
