Title: CNC (Chinacoin) Diff adjustment?
Post by: TheSwede75 on May 16, 2013, 07:06:41 PM
Anyone know what's 'going on' with CNC as far as diff etc. I can only assume it's going to drop at next adjustment, but when and how much?

60480... if you're waiting...it's gonna be a long wait!

Confirmations are painfully slow right now.

Any website with CNC stats?

So, you have no idea.

Means there's 3000 blocks to go. At diff 41 something and a hashrate that is bellow 500Mh last time I checked, I'm guessing a week.

Cool, and do you have any idea where diff will drop to?

~10 I'd imagine.

CNC is at block 57793
5040-(57793%5040)=2687
So it's not even 50%.

According to http://cnc.dontmine.me/, network hashpower=111.22 MH/s
So at difficulty 41.821 it's on average 53.39 block/day.
So time to retarget is: 2687/53.39=DEAD

Really, time to retarget: 50 days
But expect it to rise [like FTC] instead of decreasing, so that retarget may actually never happen.

Ouch! didn't know hashrate was that low.

Well I guess I should throw some hashrate at it :)
I prob would call it 'dead' yet though, all that is really the diff between 100 and 1000 mh/s is whether people are mining 6 new altcoins/day or not and coin profitability. I guess we will see.

Why in the world would diff rise with massive decreasing hashing power?

I am still mining CNC and will continue to do so! :D  I got 4,000kh at it 24/7

The retarget time.. not the diff

48days to go!  Come on guys!  Lets get some Hash at this!  Just imagine what will happen to the profit scale on Coinchoose when it retargets.. people will be eating this up again.  Its like a hidden gem.

You can still mine 810 WDC per day with that hash rate...
