Is there something behind this up? Any ICO?

I know almost coin is up, but ETH is pumped hard

There isn't any major name in my eyes but it may be due to collective demand. There are large number of icos running.

ETH is very good, but I'm only worried because after ICO there is always a huge dump

Hundreads of ICO. Maybe not a big one, but them all as a whole.

While the ICO mania doesn't fade, ETH will rise as long BTC keeps rising too

I think it will not fade until end of 2018-2019... Now really many good and prospect projects funded... But not all of them having future...

because all of ICOs once compelted, they immediately dump our ETH.

ETH has been going strong. The pump is perhaps due to the number of projects and ICOs on ETH platform. There are just so many projects' ICOs that accepts ETH to purchase their tokens. There is not really a big dump happening soon because as other ICOs are ending, some are also just beginning.

The increasing amount of gas is what's happening. Looks like th USA in 1979 lol

Please let's fix this for the benefit of the platform.

Always because supply and demand, you should know that. Today many speculations about eth but which the right one? we can only assume nothing else. I only suggest you see again your strategy and fix it before something wrong happen or even worst. Replace stop loss and calculate your money management. Depend my strategy eth will continues fall and we only need to wait to buy again. Patience is needed and don't panic sell. Good luck.

ETH is a very promising platform and it progress grows up. Price now is nice!

your definition of "pumped hard" is way off the reality.
ether has gone up about 10-15% and meanwhile there are other shitcoins like ether that went up at least 60% in the same time frame. and that is called "pumped hard".

and there is no need for a reason for ether pump, it just gets pumped and dumped over and over and the manipulators make money from newbies who invest in it. nothing new!

Ethereum is the foundation that can create a lot of smart contracts and attract many investors into ICO projects. I think this has made Ethereum rise in recent times and more specifically the Ethereum platform can create separate altcoins.

Contrary to what most believe (that ICOs cause ETH price dumping), ICOs actually help ETH gain exposure. More ICOs, whether good or bad, is still actually good for ETH. More people learn about ETH and validate why ETH is a great coin for smart contracts. Not all ICOs will dump their ETH. There will be always be some who will keep ICO tokens and this will mean more adoption and market cap for ETH. No doubt ETH value will continue to keep rising and will probably be more than $500++ by then end of this year.

The price of ethereum be up due to the price of bitcoins is up too, all of the altcoins price always follow price of bitcoins
 we knew bitcoins is the first digital coins, the other causes of price of ethereum be up due to many ICOs be builded on
 the blockchain of ethereum, check on the announcement on bitcointalk, large new ICOs based on ethereums blockchain,
 it made the price of ethereum be increased too.

ETH will recover. It just was overpriced at 400 and dipped down. It will go back there in time

I think this is not the main problem, you see that many merchants dump bitcoin at once accepted bitcoin, but bitcoin price is not going to down.

New ICO's and plus every coin is back up to its ATH except ETH. Its about time.

My guess  is ethereum is riding bitcoins wave or basily people now have a couple of extra dollars to invest in other altcoins like eth.

Probably all eth funded ICOs are collectively behind the pump.

ETH is in uptrend in general. And with all the negative news surrounding it lately, it has passed that and now continuing the bull run.

Agree. Folks are trying to find some kind of conspiracy behind this growth but I would say that is fairly simple, as BTC is going up new money are coming to crypto and as residual effect ETH is also going up.

Yes I think so, eth will not go down drastically, if for correction up and down the price is already normal in crypro, now it's time for etherum to rise and will be more popular with the number of ico using etherum-based token.

Ethereum's price had been up before BTC's price went down. It's last value was around 0.10, so most probably Eth is just trying to follow its path were it left off a few months before. I actually like this coin, in fact some ICO's are using Ethereum as its blockchain rather than BTC.

no, its not because ico, its because btc spike and s3gwit, and also fork bch, people confuse and i read vitallik twit that kakao pay in korea accept ethereum, maybe the rally will reach to $700 or more

I agree there is nothing special in ethereum price growing nowadays. The platform is used more and more, so the demand for the coin grows as well. Yet I don't think it is right to call ethereum a shitcoin. I know it has big problems with code safety but it is very innovative, so I guess it's one of the best coins we have no matter what. You are probably right the price will go down after a while, though.

I hope there is lots of token in wallet send to marketplace or exchanges each Ico having millions or billions of coin so each transaction need gas for transaction fees as most ethereum based token doing well so ether also getting benefit overall.

Everyone also wants something like that, with many enthusiasts Ethereum platform or smart contract Ethereum, I think Ethereum have a good future and will be better in the future.

Don't worry about Ethereum. It's an unique project compared to many other coins around here. It will rise again step by step especially with POS switch around the corner.

ETH gets stronger in other words. Its smart contract technology becomes the main reason why investors like me are attracted to ICO.

Nothing especial has happend to Etheruem and there is no special news which cause the Ethereum demand to rise. After August 1, most of major altcoins such as Litecoin, Dash and ripple are increasing in price.

This question has been asked several times already, ether is not pumped hard, it has peak at 0.15BTC or 0.16BTC and actually it dropped to 0.09BTC.

I counted 292 bounty topics for ICO so all these ICO's have to be reason.

When ETH is start dumped it's a huge dumped & when ETH is start pumped it's a huge pumped I think it's nothing new.But it's ttue ETH is really awesome coin.My future depends on ETH.

I believe it's little glitch in the ether pump and dump. All the ICO actually power up the ether as we are buying huge number of tokens by using it. This process in reality increases the demand of ether. I know selling occurs the in reverse too but note that most of the tokens later sold or exchanged with bitcoin by the end users. So it's hard to say any ICO might be affecting it in negative way. Hundreds of ICO are going on daily and token sales are made through ethereum blockchain. That's big support for it. It's just that bitcoin is too high currently and everybody is ignoring ether in the first place.

The selling pressure from the recent huge ICOs is beginning to ease off so ETH can rise again

Every single projection I've seen (both from people in crypto and more traditional economists) shows ETH going up to and above $400. Also there are just so many ICOs with tokens running on ETH blockchain that give support to ETH...I really think that next to BTC it is and will remai the most sustainable currency.

Probably eth will continue to rise its fluctuation is very active in the market. This means there are many users who invest in Eth that until today it still attracting more supporters.

Eth is more or less found stabilized. This is all because of the increased market for ethereum once after bitcoin. Also now majority of the ICO projects using the ethereum Blockchain platform adds value to it. Few days back the price was wavering around $220 and today it's near to cross $300. This shows that growth is promising with Eth.

Yes I agree with you, after a few moments ago when the bitcoin breaking process yesterday many investors switched there, and after the process was completed the investors went back to the etherum and this got a positive point for the price increase etherum.

The current uptrend of ethereum is stable. The spike was not overnight.  As more companies adopt the ethereum block chain, expect ethereum to rise. Of course dumping will not be prevented as there are people who wants to rip others off. But long term it will reach new highs.

This will happen at the ETH, because rising quickly with bitcoin thus making the ETH also be ridden. of all the many people waiting for moments of this minority. I am happy if the price of the bitcoin be will this affect ETH. but if this tejadi you can hold until prices have become stable when it's so you can sell the benefit

Quiet surprised to see the price of ETH goes the same on the way of Bitcoins price too which is rising and being pumped now. We dont know the actual reasons on such pump on ETH price but one things for sure that there are more demands which causes for the price to pump out and its really a good thing for those who bought on eth on dump prices on previous weeks that we seen which the price is still low.

So much manipulation... I wish the tech was really solid to scale these things.

Don't worry about ethereum because this coin had a potential to become one of the most famous altcoins in cryto currency world. Therefore, seems ethereum had problem on the past month I believe that they can handle it. Also we need to trust to the capacity and ability of ethereum in the market because we know that this altcoin was increasing trends of price in the market.

Not every growth is good. Here s one really bad one. so bad that ETH will sooner or latter hit the wall.

Anyone who needs to get in ICO (like me) always switch its other coin to ETH.

Ethereum succeed in making itself a need for other people, in this case ICOs. That is why it will always go up from now. And with the PoS around the corner, supply will be capped, and price will pump crazily.

you are indeed true about the first part that the ICOs are the only reason why ethereum went up in the first place and they actually are the reason it stays up for now.

but you are wrong about your second part. it can not last forever. you can't see new ICOs start up every day and still be successful enough to gather that much money. it will stop at some point and be limited to 1 or 2 every 6 months. and on top of it all the ICO dumps will crash the price.

This is likely to happen because ETH is currently showing signs of improvement and in the next few weeks ETH prices will probably be crazy. I hope in the future ETH price can beat Bitcoin
