What mhash rates do the Lancelots usually get ?

What is a rough shipping cost on 1-2 units to the United States?

I am not too familar with the FPGAs yet. Do I need to purchase anything additional to get one up and running? ( power adapter?, or does it have its own cable, or a molex adapter for a computer PSU ? )

my city and zipcode are in OP. feel free to call EMS or Dhl and calculate yourself.

note  that HK is not China.   I agree it is expensive, that is also the same reason Avalon ship every unit, although assembled in BJ if im right, through HK.

I have a guess about your lancelots. you bought them from someone in shenzhen, which borders Hong kong. makes sense.

How much for 10 boards to Vancouver, BC?  Any chance you can use bitmit escrow?  I've have many successful buys/sells there.

Will you include the risers, so I can have a fancy stacks like you!?

feel free to pm me.

USB cables, risers, including.

You need to chose between wires or ACDC, acdc are heavy(100g each) and will increase shipping cost.

Orders multiples of 10 goes with USB hub 13-port

About escrow I will stick to the terms in  OP.

PM sent.

Title: Re: [WTS] FPGA - Icarus

thats around 24320 ghash, 64 x 20watts x 1.2 (power supply loss) =  ~1536watts

Im switching to PSU all boards that are still  acdc powered, for that I need to cut cables so If people wanna buy this boards I will not be able to offer ACDC anymore, thats good because they overheat and waste a lot of power. I will also shutdown one PSU tonight.

two psu are antec 650 and the other, one Greatwall 1000watts, all three modular ones.

Well, if its ASIC what you are looking for, blackarrow is selling them for less than 50 btc here: https://www.cardreaderfactory.com/shop/asicminer-block-erupter-blade.html

To prospective buyers:

Please do your research in profitability and network speed projections and note that these FPGAs will most likely never break even.

I am tired of people selling overpriced mining equipment for prices that will never break even, and even worse... people actually buy them.

Don't be the sucker that buys them from him please, because you will not make a penny off them (if not lose money which is more likely IMO.)

PS: Sorry to crap on your thread rudrigorc2, but I'm not going to let people entice noobs into buying overpriced hardware if I can do something about it.

Entincing noobs? Is this thread in noobs area? Did you read the red words in OP in the first place? Do you know if you know what are you doing FPGA can be used for other purposes? Maybe thats why some people are still buying. Now ask them about the discounts and rebates and amazing shipping prices and shipping speed ive been giving. Thank you.

Why I dont see you saying this to avalon, that different from my clear statement here says only: no bullshit, asics on time, business done right, bla bla bla newsletters.
Note that you are not saving the world from being unfair at some point,  neither asics will save just because they-support-network-crap-and-get-dust-on-my-equipment.

Please next time point your guns to a real "enticer" used to get away with misleading busines practices.

I'm just stating the obvious for those that don't realize.

If I save one person his money, then it was a success.

I knew you wouldn't be happy with that post, but I don't care.

Now, carry on, I have nothing left to say to you....

I made several people think more about before buying or even give up buying this equipment, its crystal clear to me that you dont have anything to say in this thread. The default mode is to suspect and think everyone is a scammer, I dont blame you. Maybe one day you will get out of that default mode.

Thanks for the bump anyway.

edit: last thing

No one that bought Icarus from ngzhang will ever brake even BTC wise, no one, the price was + 100BTC each, last year.
I gave him around 3k BTC for one full batch of icarus, but before calling sucker everyone that did the same(oh sorry, you already did) I would say they supported the btc economy and helped to fund another project that will make btc even stronger.

Like I said on the other post: its impossible to find a quick ROI. Yes, some hardware is over priced, but this one is right on par. If you could get a 800MH/s video card for $200 would you? If you said no, then you aren't in the market for hardware anyway. If you said yes, even THAT great deal would take over 3 months to break even.

So, instead of talking about how expensive equipment is (and I agree with that) please point some of us buying to a place to find this hardware that has a short break even point....so, folks can either a) not mine b/c of the break even will never happen or b) start somewhere until their Avalon setups are complete...

Even with the Avalons, think about it: I am going with steamboats chip order as well as his assembly for a 16 chip setup. Each 16 chip setup is about $175 total cost (assembly/hardware/chips) and nets us 4.5GH/s ...and thats a GREAT deal, right? Well, if I had that RIGHT NOW, I'd still be waiting a month to break even...so, thats the extreme, and break even time still sucks.

I feel you are doing a dis-service to potential buyers and the sellers by bringing the guerrilla and not the banana.

I bought 5 of these. Shipment was fast and they're all hashing away nicely at a total of 1,915 Mh/s

Thanks for including power cables, made the setup easy even though the cable that fitted to my CPU 12V connector had reversed polarity, but I checked the polarity of all cable before connecting them so it was easily fixed.

Im glad you checked, some cables are reverse to match what I got here.

I chose the modular PSU for the convenience but seems to me that vendors will never reach an agreement as to connector pattern on the PSU side, its a pain.

As for bitstreams, I'm a fpga engineer by trade and I'm thinking about taking a look at Bitfury's bitstream and see if I can adapt it to Icarus.

Any improvements on bitfurys bitstream? Based on what ngzhang said, icarus can handle 25watts easily, I welcome 10~15% hashrate improvement :D
