Is bitcoin going to achieve 4000$ in the near future ?

It is very possible to get to $4000. But can you wait and have the patience? Are you going to sell when the price reach $4000 then? We all love to see bitcoin goes to $4000 but some of the traders or investors will not hold and most probably dump their coins because the profit by then is very big specially if you have a lot of bitcoins. We can probably get it by the end of the year, its just around $700 with the current price. What worries me though is that can we maintained this high price or people starting to dump bitcoin? Remains to be seen.

Well it certainly is possible. I'm hoping that it dips a little before that though, because I tried a little experiment. My gut is telling me that I may have made a mistake though, because it may shoot up in a couple of days. I want it to go back down to $3100 and lock in a profit.

It will raise to $4000 and higher for sure. The only questions are when and will there be dips or even crashes before that rise. Just be patient until $4000 are reached.

What near future? Bitcoin can achieve if before the end of the month. Positive things are coming in the way of bitcoin like the Segwit activation in two weeks. So its likely that we get touch it sooner than later. So if you are thinking of buying bitcoin, now is the perfect time. Bitcoin has dipped at $3300 now and one it shoots to $4000 you are already taking a profit. You just need to hodl have patience and tolerate the daily price change over a short period of time. Probably I speculate that the price could go to $5000 before the end of the year.

Yes! I thought it would be by year end but looking at current events it's very likely possible that it may be achieved sooner than later. The bull run is impressive and I would not be surprised, if it achieves it sooner now. It's fundamentals look strong and given that all alts failed it's rise is bound to happen and 4k is very realistic. Who knows before the iPhone launch only, I hope apple can allow to purchase it with Bitcoins.

As the price increase has begun after a minor fluctuations more inflow will be experienced. This will contribute to the growth of the bitcoin network towards the next milestone which is predicted to be $3500. If the noted $3500 takes place in a short and continues growing further reaching $4000 won't take much time.

Yes it will surely achieve that price in coming months and I think we will see it happening before the year ends as I don't see any negative news coming so it will help in moving price in a positive direction in coming months too.

The whole segwit x2 thinks could cause a little hiccup in November. A possible fork looks on the cards.

This may affect the Bull run.

More and more people are investing in Bitcoin, especially the chinese people to save their money from governmental access.

Bitcoin will be worth $ 4,000 at the beginning of September. We will see rising prices in bitcoin because the shift from investment in dollars to invest in bitcoin is only gaining momentum. We observed no growth of bitcoin prices is the fall in the price of the dollar.

Even if it doesn't gets there in September I am sure that we will see that price at the end of the year or may be in the first month of the next year and price is moving higher now so lets hope that we will achieve this price in next few months.

Maybe yes before a lot of people been asking if bitcoins goes up to 2500$ to 3000$ and now 4000$ will obcourse yes some people expecting 5000$ before the end of this year even me also expecting like that some also expecting 10,000$ next year will we still dont know yet i wish i could buy bitcoins in low price again.

Yes, it is possible bitcoin will reach $4000 and maybe it will reach that price before this year ends. Its price is already close to that amount so for sure it will reach that price. We will wait and see when that time comes and people will be expecting bitcoin to reach $5k around December.

This price level could be achieved in the next 6-8 weeks. Maybe way more than that and then a bigger correction may eventually take place, who knows when the 2x crowd starts to FUD again and maybe will do their hardfork.
 

Bitcoin will probably reach 4k this year as of now bitcoin still stable at 3300 and thats a good thing because we can  expect bitcoin to reach that price but lets not be so confident because anytime bitcoin can have a big dump this coming november and then will have a big pump by the end of the year .

I'd be happy getting to $3500 by months end,  doesn't hurt to have the price stabilize and consolidate for a while before each new runup.

Yeah bitcoin could achieve it, there is no time you ask. right? Bitcoin prices has approaching $ 3500 and it's a good sign for us to still hold bitcoin till the price reaching the level that we want it. my speculate that the price could go to $6000 in the couple month again. why looks im so optimistic because BCC has been fail so the investor will back to bitcoin.

It's possible but i don't think it will happen very soon. The price of bitcoin is at $3,400+ right now and really close to $4,000 maybe in the end of the year it will reach. There are still many months left though, everything can happen and i can say it's really possible to reach $4,000 in the near future.

We nearly are at $4k now if you include the Bcash its like $3700.  3 months we are either way way above or back in the 2k levels waiting for the next bubble IMO.

It's not that unlikely to see the price hit the $4000 level just before, or just after the activation of Segwit. In most cases, the prices increases in advance of the happening, so it basically means that the chances are on the higher side that we'll break through that level before the next difficulty adjustment (i.e within two weeks). But then again, I don't see it last very long as I expect a correction to kick in not long after that. People shouldn't think that with the activation of Segwit we miraculously have solved everything scaling related. There is still the 2MB hard fork in November that can push the market back significantly.

Of course it will happen. This is the pattern of the price increase that happened this early first quarter up to now.
First quarter the price of bitcoin made it to $1,000 and on the second quarter it reached $2,000+ and now for the last month of second quarter the price did reached up to $3,400.
No doubt we will see $4,000 before the end of the year.

I think it is very likely to hit 4k. Given the extreme volatility, it could do so by the weekend.
But don't you find this all a bit odd? Actual use of Bitcoin as a currency is declining due to long delays and very high fees.
Only criminals use it for transactions, for malware payments.

This feels to me like a very big speculative bubble. But where will it end? It could well go to 10k, may be higher, as no one seems to take profits in this market.

That also confuses me. Have a lot of Bitcoins been lost? There must be lots of people who could be rich forever if they simply converted their Bitcoins into usable currencies, but they do no do so. Why not?

The value of bitcoin now is very near to $4000 and I am confident that it can reach $4000 before the end of this year. There's a little chance that bitcoin will fall and the fluctuations this past few days indicate the positive future for bitcoin...we should take the opportunity to keep our coins and sell them when it reaches the peak amount for this year

Yes in a couple of weeks it will hit $4,000 and then upwards until the end of the year and possibly beyond, based on nothing more than just my current thinking.

Price already hit 3500$ less than 2 week after hard fork. But we all know that nothing can beat the bitcoins in terms of market cap.I only can say one thing about bitcoin price speculation: It will hit 10000 usd/BTC rate before 2019 ;)

It seems to me that bitcoin already in 2018 will reach a price of $ 10,000. He became more reliable than he was before. Many investors include it in their investment package.

But the question is : how much time it gets higher than 4000$ after the correction ?
Would it be intelligent to sell before the correction if it gets 4k or higher or just keep your funds and wait longer ?

Pumps and bumps are random and unpredictable and with the BCC fail ,BTC will rise higher and higher and may reach 6k by the end of 2017 .
With some optimism it may reach 10k by 2019 , so holding the funds will be a great idea since just the value rise will make us a profit .

Bitcoin was pressure due to different expectations of the users, but without no doubt I believe that bitcoin can hits the different speculation of people. As of now bitcoin price was much closer to $4000 I think 1 huge waves and bitcoin reach the $4000 sooner or later.

Very possible, especially with how high bitcoin is right now and how much it has grown the couple of days. Just 12 hours ago Bitcoin was still at 3,450 and now it is at 3,664. Prices have risen so much the couple of days and they may continue to keep rising.

The problem is, everyone is anticipating for a drop in price for bitcoin, since I don't think that Bitcoin will continually be such a high price and of course it must fall soon, just how much will it fall.

Yeah right bitcoin was so fast to increase their value and seems that their price was a little bit closer to 4000 dollars I also believe that before end of the year. Bitcoin was increase price up to 5000 dollars, hoping that bitcoin was continues increasing their price.

Yes the price of bitcoin today is 3729$.Which is very closer to  3750$.So in two to three days the price of bitcoin will reach the value of 4000$.Only the passion is required for that to happen.Since many start to inverse their money on bitcoin, bitcoin price is keeps on increase on this factor.Just wait two days,this will come true sure.

I suppose what we now see is mostly due to segwit expectations.
People expect bitcoin price to increase on August 22nd when segwit kicks in, but the real price increase is already happening right now.
I suppose that in line of that developement the 4k barrier will fall in short time.
On and after August 22nd, I do not expect much growth in price anymore.

Yesterday we were at around 3500$, now this morning when I wake up we are at 3750$. The price is going completely crazy, so anything seems possible for me.

Definitely yes, without a doubt bitcoin will reach $4000 soon maybe this next year, before this year 2017 end or even this month. If bitcoin will continue to grow it might surpass $4000. in past few day it has developed a momentum which is very hard to stop. yeah also for me before 2 to 3 weaks it is almost impossible to believe that it will reach to $3700 which is its price right now but you can expect any thing from bitcoin.

People who have missed the opportunity to invest in bitcoin when 1 BTC = 1700$ should really be mad rightnow . Yet there is no deadline to buy since it's rising more and more ( more than 100$ in last 12h ) .
Although it might be risky and the next correction could take it back to 2k5 , i guess buying now is a great idea .

No doubts that we are going to achieve $4,000 per bitcoin very soon. I didn't even think that we are going to reach $3,000 this fast.

Now the price of bitcoin is 3833$ .Only 167$ raise is required to reach that value. It soon will happen. From my point of view the price of bitcoin will reach 4000$ in couple of days. Bitcoin soon will reach this peak also.Before it crossed the peak of 3000,3500$ .So it's not that much though for bitcoin.

Yeah, Bitcoin can definitely reach 4000$, even in the coming week, even in the coming 24 hours. To be honest, I never saw the price as crazy as it is now, so everything is possible.

Indeed it happened so fast no body expected it to happen before the end of this year , yet we crossed the 4k bar and moving up .
The community was surprised at 1st , but now everyone is more optimistic that BTC has a bright future ahead and everyone should invest in this cryptocurrency because , and i'm pretty sure of what i'm saying , this is the future getting written in front of us .

I think many people right now are satisfied what the price today.. and its starting to decrease back again look at the preev price right now the price this time is $3,985 so if there are other holders are want to sell bitcoin expect that the price will reduce..

Go and see the price of bitcoin. It crossed the value of 4000$.The people who had inverse Their money in bitcoin during July  had lot of profit today.Many bitcoin holder are millionaire or billionaire today due to the price of bitcoin. Wait and hold the bitcoin for longer.

Well I was late already and currently the price was at $4,074 and we sure get one of everyone's expectation.

Yep.. At the beginning of the year I doubted that the price would rise to $3000 but now, seeing what is going on, I can safely assume that this year we will get $5000 or maybe even $6000

There's a possibility that bitcoin price was raised up into $5000 before end of the year 2017, because from now bitcoin price were too close to $4000. I never doubted that bitcoin value was continue raising up.

This is the basic principle of economics. If supply is limited and demand is rising, then the price also needs to grow. Bitcoin meets all requirements  ;D ;D

Today the pay of bitcoin to dollar is around 4453$.Which is two hundred dollars greater then a two days price.What I am saying is ,you will get additional dollar if you hold for long.Best thing is saving your bitcoin. Not selling your bitcoin. Hold and then sell all the holding bitcoin and get additional profit.

In the meantime, we again observe the jump in the price of bitcoin. And I hope that after it we will see the price of 5000 dollars and maybe 6000 dollars. Bitcoin has a very large potential and it seems to me that its price can reach very high heights

The way I see things, $4500 will be soon breach again and it will hold, unlike the first time we touches it. Because this up trend is the result of the Segwit activation. So I consider the activation had a very positive impact to the ecosystem. This is similar to the previous mental barrier, $3000 it took us months to break it again, but this time is sustainable. So I'm seeing that same way at $4500. Once we get there, we won't see any major dip, but a few blips then it try to get to $5000. So that's where I'm seeing that we will have difficulty again breaking that wall. But come November, we may see another steam getting momentum and going to $6000-$7000.

I thought that yesterday will be broken $4500, but it will jump not higer than $4700.. If this situation of price will continue till November, for sure we will see there one big jump up to $6000 - $7000 .. anyway correction in December should be around $5500 - $6000 ;)

It's not just that easy the way you think because it takes millions for the whales to make it achieve those levels and even worst when sells happen from them over innocent people and everyone suffers huge losses. If Bitcoin crosses 5k, there's nothing that could stop it from surpassing any ugly levels which we have just dreamed of before but the stability level is still 5k and not more than that.

Not in the future the price of bitcoin already reached 4000 dollars last week ago and if you see the price today its already 4300 dollars and I hope it will increase more . If that happen for sure we can make a lot of profit. The next targer for sure of bitcoin world is 5000 dollars and I hope it will truly happen. Buy bitcoin and enjoy profit in the future. Yup for now the price is at the $4300 value level and I think it will surely reach the $6000 mark value or higher by the end of the year if the impending 2nd Hard Fork will be a success, because in that event just like what it did with the first there will be a lot of panic selling that will occur and will surely drop the price of bitcoin and I hope it can still recover when that happens.

Agreed, depending upon the upcoming hard fork the price growth will take place. During the past too panic was found among the users when it was nearing to segwit hard fork. But everything went in a smooth manner taking the price grow further. Now it looks $4000 a fixed price above which the fluctuation continues with growth.

Which correction in December?! Correction has passing after every jump in the price for bitcoin. Add to that new fork was promised in the middle of November. And we may only guess what it is going to bring to us. Today's price is stabilized price and I doubt we will see some new big changes too soon. Maybe I'm wrong, but this conclusion I have made from all my experience about bitcoin.

It seems that we need to change the question to are we going to see prices below 4000 in the near future? I think that is possible but at the same time I have no doubts that the price is going to go even higher very soon to the point that is going to be impossible to get below that price of 4000 ever again, so look for opportunities to buy bitcoin when it goes below that price.

iam not at all in my mind about the price of bitcoin below 4000 dollars but sometimes it could happen because bitcoin prices nobody knows why the whale in power over the price below or above from the current price

People have always been saying that we won't see the price fall below x price again, but this market has taught us that it WILL fall below these levels. The only thing is that it might take a while, but that's not much of a big deal for people who have the patience to keep waiting for that opportunity. I personally am not really that much interested in buying at sub $4000 levels, unless we fall back to levels close to $3000.

And I would gladly buy bitcoin at the price of 4000 dollars. Now it seems cheap. And a few weeks ago, we were glad of this rise. Everything in our life is relative.

As we know that anything is possible with bitcoins one bad news and price is down but I don't see it happening soon as price is increasing now and it may go even higher in next few days and yes the current price is too high to buy bitcoins so I will hold the coins that I have and see how price behaves in next few  days and if it touches $5k then I will sell some of my coins.

We have seen minor corrections today, the question is, can casual investors willing to buy into this dip? for me, I still won't buy it because the price is still too high for me. For me, I cheapest price I'm more willing to buy is $3000. It is possible for the price go that low, absolutely because as you have said, anything is possible. I already stock up some bitcoin so I'm not in a hurry to buy, unless I have some extra cash to put today.

It really depend on the individual though, if he really wants to get in right now, he can buy to this dip, but for most of us who have save enough bitcoin, we are going to wait for the price to go cheap before stashing more.

It's normal to bitcoins bro because you may notice the price fluctuatation from the past two years now price we see is peak value in price chart. Hope we will get the more value due to the adoption increase and increase of blocks size. Hold it more 6 months from now price may double or at least a 2000$ value change would be there.
