go around the forum and read a lot of posts Title: Re: Best mining hardware? Post by: Ultegra134 on August 10, 2017, 10:45:16 PM Be more specific with what you want to mine, do you want to earn BTC (Using Nicehash miner) or mine some specific Altcoins and then convert them to BTC/Fiat currency whatever you are into. You could try investing in GPU mining, in case you already have a decent computer or buy an ASIC miner which are expensive and don't think $500 are enough, for a decent one at least.

Title: Re: Best mining hardware? Post by: deepcryptomine on August 11, 2017, 10:00:49 PM You should mine what gives you the best hash rate and most coins based on your hardware. You can always trade those coins for the BTC/ETH and buy the coins that you cannot mine using those btc/eth. I am a newbie and I currently only use coins that I can mine with my CPU and have traded those for btc on exchange.

So as soon as the announcement is done i want to start mining! If there's an announcement and it's promising, you're already too late with your $500. You're basically gambling. If you're going to gamble, pick the riskiest bet which is to mine a non-promising coin and hope it goes up in price. Find the one with the lowest difficulty. As for using your laptop, unless you're using a gaming laptop you would be a fool to mine on a laptop. Gaming laptops have decent copper heatpipes for the CPU. Don't even try GPU mining or you'll be out a $1500 laptop. Title: Re: Best mining hardware? Post by: TheTrunK on August 13, 2017, 07:03:13 AM Well it depends where u live and what is the avaiabaility/prices of cards. Then point to https://whattomine.com/coins and look up the hashrate of your cards. I think the 1060 3gb are the best option to go for with that budget - u can buy 2 of them, place it in your computer and mie. Ethereum is minable with them too.
Title: Re: Best mining hardware? Post by: Faliro on August 17, 2017, 06:43:58 PM And if you want to mine with your laptop buy also a fire extinguisher and keep it next to your bed.
Title: Re: Best mining hardware? Post by: zenono on August 17, 2017, 07:29:49 PM Just make a rig with lots of 1050 TI if u want best mining hardware
Title: Re: Best mining hardware? Post by: cryptworld on August 17, 2017, 09:31:20 PM I think that you should wait because GPUs are now very expensive in relation to earnings. In next few weeks, GPU price will be more realistic in relation to earnings.
