What are promising (free) airdrop coins to take part in?
What airdrop coins do you see being traded on exchanges?

If you don't mind a 10 post per week signature campaign, then DeepOnion is the most promising AirDrop project. I'd hold it all until 2020 and then reassess the situation before selling anything though. If it does anything similar to what Monero and other anonymous coins did it will be quite big.

So many coins, so little time!

Look for bounty campaigns. They are a great way to earn tokens and keep up with icos.

In my opinion, that's not airdrop. You will be paid just if you wear their signature. Airdrop is distribution of coins for free. But you are wearing their signature and now you cannot join any signature campaign in this forum.

Check it out my friends :) I check this every few days to see what's popping. Hope it helps ya find some good ones!!

You also can check out bitcoin Garden forum, they allow free airdrops but I don't believe that BTC talk forum does here.

Other than that I also have heard of some coins requiring ETH or BTC to get in on the airdrop. So, stock up and HODL!

I applied for the LiteShares airdrop, it is a clone of Bitshares. Eligibility requirements are relatively easy, you just need to be a junior member on the bitcointalk.org forum.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2062287.0

No signature campaign is required to receive the shares.

There is no coin like promising airdrops as I can say, because not all coin are going to be profitable here but if you can earn around 0.2 btc you must have strong sense about altcoin or may be you have huge bankroll to earn that huge amount. It is always as simple as btc but airdrops is more fluctuative here

Btw, when I join last airdrops, I didnt get any of it so I do not think it is really worth tto wait it for this time

Has anyone here tried qoinpro? They give you about a dozen different coins, daily for free.  Not air drops but still free coins. Not all new coins either, they give BTC, DASH, LTC amongst others. Takes a while acrure  a balance worth withdrawing but all you have to do is sign up and the coin's start flowing. Not sure how it helps them, I'm still new to it but seems legit so far. This is my ref link if anyone wants to join, helps us both earn faster. https://qoinpro.com/c4cb22042eecb86f2df39be6268542e7

It's a site not worth your time for spamming your referral. I have an account with them since 2014 and just checked it since I forgot I had one. So I checked and have a whopping 12 cents from their faucet since that time. The rest didn't even amount to 1 cent really.

Airdrops are free so any airdrop that is being offered to be I will definitely accept since there's no money to invest only your effort to support and comment on that project, to me all airdrops are promising because it's a good step for adoption.

How can anyone think Deeponion as airdrop.? They are paying you for the signature space you are advertising. You cant sell the coins as you wish. Thats not how an airdrop works.
I think promising airdrops are ByteBall and Bitsend. Both giveaways have good value and community backed.

byteball gives you coins if you have enough btc required right so its really an airdrop in which you dont have to do anything just maintain
your current btc and receive it along the way.

you're right--we need to define these terms more clearly.. some ideas:

giveaway - a donation to anybody (they may not even ask for it)
airdrop - a giveaway of one asset to owners of a separate asset (perhaps sharedrop should refer to airdrops done in proportion to the amount of the separate asset which is owned)
sigdrop - signature campaign giveaway

under these definitions:
CLAMs is an airdrop, but not a sharedrop.
Byteball is an airdrop, but more specifically a sharedrop.
DeepOnion is a sigdrop.
Would BitSend qualify as an airdrop since it requires you to own a bitcointalk account of a certain status?
Kekcoin is a memedrop ;D

Many coins are trying to skirt the "no giveaways" rule on bitcointalk by calling themselves airdrops when they are just giveaways.  Because of this rule I expect many people to use the BitcoinGarden forum for giveaways.

There are not many true airdrops: Byteball (and Blackbytes), Stellar, CLAMs, Bitcore, OmiseGo, JUMBLR, and a bunch on the Waves platform.  Does BCH count as an airdrop?

I don't know of any off the top of my head but I wanted to give you a technique that we used to find certain things here on the Forum. It sounds simple at it is but a lot of times people overlook this. Go to the announcement thread, and from there use the search box to search for in your case airdrop. You can get crazy with it automated, even par sit out to a separate list, but in the end this is something that you could do once a day make sure that the list is listing in date and not any other method, and you will have the ones on top that are most recent, and some of those might be only minutes old.

It is an airdrop giveaway.

We can call BCH a fork drop. It does not give you anything you did not have yet. You just did not know you had them before.

Bitsend and Byteball are the only real airdrops out there at the moment. For Bitsend you need an Bitcointalk account which is at least one year old and Senior Member. Every week they drop some coins into your wallet automatically. There are 620 participants right now. Seats are limited to 1,000. This airdrop is running until 2019. Price skyrocketed today: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitsend/.

but i think the good airdrop currently i think is ALTCOM
ALTCOM with the low of total suppy, and tomorrow there will be another airdrop to happen

and the airdrop will be sent to 50 person.

So true as many airdrop coins will turn to a shit coin if they will not be listed in exchanges. But free is free so many are easily get attracted to this and its like nothing to lose if you save some of it. For me OMG is one of the legit airdrop, it is listed in exchanges so you sure have a good profit.

Deep onion is not an airdrop and seems like a scam.

This is the main reason that I haven't got involved. They keep saying "airdrop" all over the place, when it is clearly not an airdrop. It is a signature campaign. They say "airdrop" just to generate more traffic.
If they are going to mislead people from the start, it seems unprofessional at best, and it doesn't bode well for developments further down the line.

I don't have an opinion on whether or not it's a scam, but they are certainly not 100% honest.

Searching from the front page hasn't worked out for a long time and using their search page it's just an extra couple of steps you don't need go to the announcement Page search for airdrop and you will have a list of all of those.

Why do you care if they're promising or not ???
You're already getting them for free from airdrops. This shouldn't really be an issue or a discussion.

If they get value and you can sell them for a few bucks, sell them and there you go free money.
If not, you didn't lose anything ,did you ?

Dam. Airdrops are free only that's why they are dropped from the air man! That's the concept behind it. If you give something free then people like you and me will get attracted to it and will spread the word about it. Thus we are indirectly advertising them and they benefit from that. But whatever is the principle behind it we get those airdrops.

All the airdrops are great and you must participate in it if you want to see some free bucks in the future. Rarely airdrops are scam but mostly they are good source of earning tokens.

Well I think there's nothing wrong with airdrop as this is just free and just be thankful of this blessing because from here we can get some extra earnings. And if the devs are just using us for advertising then it will be all fine like we didn't do anything to get free coins, right?
And the best things in life are free.  ;D

You can participate in Byteball airdrop as well. You just have to link your btc address and will be eligible for all future airdrops.

Also if you do not own any btc then you can look at Athena and Peculium airdrops as well. Both look interesting.

It's hard to tell which is a good project, but you can take a look at the Bitcoin Core project (BTX). The project's airdrop running, and the minimum requirement of having 10 BTX stored on your wallet to qualify.

For me is no. 1 DeepOnion as many airdrops nowadays are just pump and dump and they aren't able to hold the price as it's just a coin
without a real product.
DeepOnion is different - DO has many great features such as sending anonymous messages to another person through the Tor network
or DeepVault to check originality of your file.
Yes - you can get coins by airdrop but it's not just fill the form and you will receive your airdrop like every other coin it doesn't work like that with DeepOnion.
Rewarded is everyone who meets the criteria and is valuable member of the community.
So if you work hard you will get rewarded with the sweet Onions. :)

If you are interested sign up via the link in my signature.
You won't regret it.  :)

Promising airdrops do not show up every day, promising airdrops rarely show up, yesterday I had a chance to participate in the airdrop KEK and I got 0.2 BTC
Great airdrop allocation you get. I think 0.2btc is not a bit .. Is there any other airdrop?

What airdrop coins do you see being traded on exchanges?

There's a good summary here of the most promising current airdrops (https://bitcoin-investors.co.uk/2017/10/current-airdrops-october-2017/) - I hope it's useful.

best is an airdrop with an ico. then you know that it is also a good airdrop. and then you can also get $500 a month. but you have to have luck .
