He is right on one thing though, that bitcoin is just commonly used for trading, as even though stores/companies are slowly but surely adopting bitcoin, only a small minority is using bitcoin as a payment option at the moment. Usually on 1st world countries like in the US or countries like China, but it's barely used on 3rd world countries.
