When will we see? Price seems to get stuck just below.

Today the Price of bitcoin is 3495$.You can see this in couple of hours. It's the dream of Many fork.Many eager to see this price. This is the rightest time to sell your holding bitcoin. I had holding some bitcoin for long .I hope I will sell it by today. I think I will get very huge to celebrate this week end.

Bitstamp peak reached $3500 less than 30 min ago, then quickly retraced back to $3980. There is a good wall near 3500. Might take a while to break, if it ever breaks, or the wall is just pulled and in 2 min 3500 is past, hard to know.

Already happened! 3515 dollars. The psychological barrier is overcome. Now we will wait for 4000 dollars. To good get used quickly. Now the demand will go up again and we will see rapid growth.

price went up to $3500 but somebody decided it is a good time to unload some bitcoin so he sold 43BTC in one order (possibly a bot or a trigger or something) and price dropped with the follow up of 18, 1.5 and couple of smaller sells.
... now back at $3470 and creeping up again.

Yup it had been stable around that price and was watching last night if it would increase a bit much but then it went down for a couple $ though. Hopefully this weekend it'll try to reach at least $3700.

Still now bitcoin price is 3482$ I saw this site https://coinbase.com I think today btc will be hit worth of 3500$ just wait couple of hours & see bitcoin magic.

In my opinion before the end of today it's very much possible but just questions should we be really waiting to see 3500 when the price is already 3480, rather I would like to focus on 4k.thats far more important and with usa and North Korea tension rising it's very much possible that it can happen sooner and that's what excites me the most.

Coinbase.com is a exchange, here every one normally uses preev.com as a site for reference. So use that site.

A little patience that will reached that price. Question that I put, you want to sell your bitcoin or just curious to know if it will go up more than  $3500 or not?

Come on, be patient. We went up from $2700 to $3400 in less than a month. That's a huge percentage :P. We're kinda moving up too fast, I'm probably expecting a small correction soon.

Based on some of the comments though, it has already reached $3500. Sounds like it just dipped again slightly due to people selling and it will go back up soon most probably. I think it will take some time to reach $4000 though, as I'm quite sure alot of people has trigger sells set at that price and also some would dump a bit of their holdings on that price.


I bet hes gonna be beating himself up after seeing it rise higher than $3500 soon.

Phew, just saw it break the barrier but once again, it has dropped below. Seems like Bitcoin is never dropping and we are all making huge profits. Can't believe that Bitcoin was only 2K around 3 weeks again and now it is almost double the price.

Can't even sleep, just watching the prices go down/up on preev is super interesting, especially with some cheerful music playing in the background.

Still thinking whether to sell or not, wondering if prices will hit 4K soon.

I bet they're a whale who contributed to manipulating the price this high, and is cashing out his winnings.  Even if not, they made a smart decision to get out now while the price is several times higher than it should be.  If the price does go higher, that person still made a smart decision.

It's really annoying how every time there's a bubble, people convince themselves that it's different this time and that adoption is really happening.  The most adoption was happening in 2014-2015 before the price multiplied by 5-10.

We'll see it when the demand breaks through the sell orders people have placed for when the price reaches $3500.  I doubt that it would take very much.

I see us breaking that mark in few hours because the direction of price is really on the positive side and there is no end in sight to that currently. So, let all be optimistic and keep pushing for it because by the time we all decide to sell the ones we have now in other to benefit from the pump, then I guess we are driving it backwards. Buy more if you can afford and let's laugh together that we make it  happen.

Next target, $3700. I think we can reach this one before the end of this week. Go BTC.

$3500 is nothing at this point, price will be above $4000 very soon. right now there is a big accumulation phase going on before the big rise continues.
and since we have a drama in a couple of months this makes it perfect time for a rise before the profit taking starts.

I checked the chart for last two months and drops of 5 to 10% usually happened on weekends including Fridays. Do you think it's possible that people who HODL and don't constantly look at the chart, will sell on weekend when they realize the price? I can't decide whether to buy now or wait for a drop to $3000.

Way to early my friend. I don't think you will be celebrating this weekend if you decide to sell your bitcoin @3500$. 4000$ is around the corner. And still who sells bitcoin right?

I just saw it hit $3,500.00 then I immediately came here to celebrate with you guys lmao, just goes to show you know how powerful this blockchain is. One day 1 BTC HODLers will be the envy of the world.

It is just the start, next year we could see 5000$. Hopefully by that time I will be possessing many bitcoins, making me having a comfurtable wealth.

it's already $3500, on kraken high was $3550. the price is dropping now though, better put some buy orders. i'll buy more before it starts heading towards $4000.

It seems to me that bitcoin will not fall below $ 3,000. By the end of this year the price will grow, and can now be lowered the price to $ 3200, but it won't last. Best rate to buy bitcoins will be gone. If you wait for 3000 dollars buy for $ 3,500.

It's amusing to see that a year ago, we are just talking on whether bitcoin will cross $600 within the year or not. Heads up, we are currently sitting at $3503.98 at the time of this writing. Support levels established pretty well @ $2800 and this means that we are ready to take on higher highs.

Hey guys at coindesk we are currently at $3577 right about this time of writing. I am pretty sure we'll get closer to 3800 by the end of the month. Just when I was about to withdraw some of my btc for an emergency. But I guess it can wait for three more weeks. There's no harm in waiting after all.

The psychological wall for the $3,500 has already been broken but there can be a little retreat so that we can allow more buyers to have their Bitcoin...and then it would have a grind towards $4,000. I am sure that many big Bitcoin holders are now very much happy with this development.

The year of 2017 can be a difficult year for Bitcoin  but all the trials, challenges and problems are there to make the real and original Bitcoin as strong as it should be. Next time around, it won't be easily shaken and people already understand how Bitcoin can behave even with stressful times ahead.

WOW! Another milestone, Bitcoin over $3500 all time high. The next target will be $4000 cap, the last couple of month some big dip, fluctuation, segwit events ultimately bitcoin growth is amazing. Right now, 1 Bitcoin equal $3,542 US Dollar. Let's see, how high will it go?

We did touched $3,500 already and it's going to be possible that we will hit $4,000 very soon. This is another amount that everyone is thinking to reach very soon. And as of now I can't see that it won't be falling anytime soon just like the traders are thinking. Just keep on holding your bitcoins people!

It is not stucked, it's just stop for a while to gain momentum. Bitcoin price is still increasing as of tonight.

We shouldn't be getting ahead of ourselves. The price of bitcoin around 3 weeks back was around $2000. Now we have bitcoin cash and the price is $3500. We should be happy if the price is maintained.

Price is currently above $3,528 and in days to come we may see bitcoin above $4000 the resistance at $3500 has been broken and we expect this to form a very strong support for any eventuality! After the sewing activation we expect price to take another serious pump before taking profit.

Price is increasing very well, next goal is $4000, that is the challenge now, but I hope to see it next month or so... The price is increasing very stable now what means there won't be correction on its price. The problem is when the price increases too fast, then we have a big drop next, I believe it's not the case now.

If the price happens to touch the $4000 level this or next month, it means that we have seen the price experience a growth of 300% since the beginning of this year. For me personally, this does fit in the category of fast increases. In terms of cashing out profits in order to buy back at lower levels for trading purposes, it would be a smart move to cash out a certain percentage close to, or exactly at the $4000 level. I strongly believe that we'll be up for a short term correction after that.

Well everyone seems to be overwhelmed with the price increase. It's just a normal thing if we are keeping ourselves ahead because of this many people wants to see some more pump with bitcoin. And as I checked the price recently it's now $3,594 and it's so close to $3,600 so everyone's expectation will happen very soon.

It is just a few dollars below 3500. We do not have to rush it, it will reach 3500 and past over it within the next few weeks. The price will continue to rise  until segwit is activated.

This is a new level of bitcoin and i think the $3500 dream is already been broken and i think the price this year can be possible reach $5,000 value but for now i think we will see much possible price to be reach is $3,800.
Because of the good improve about bitcoin i think the price can be increase more soon and expect that the price also experience of small down of the price. .

Yeah. Whenever I was out and not checking the price, seems that bitcoin is always rising. LOL. Was just checking my wallet and WTF just happened? we now break $3500 and it looks like that the train has gained steam and gong to hit $4000 by the end of the month. Still leg room for bitcoin to really hit $5000 at the end of the year. Truly bitcoin this year has really gain momentum from a sluggish start specially when the ETF by the Winklevoss twins was rejected. Looks like this is the last negative news that really impact the price. But now bitcoin again surge making new ATH. I think no one here thinks that this price is possible this year. $4000 will be the next stop then $5000++ at the year of the year for us guys.

It just broke through the $3700 mark. I too see current increase being driven by the soon to be SegWit activation.

If we look at how things went with the lock-in, where the price increased in advance of the actual happening, it's safe to say that the same will happen with the activation as well. As it stands right now, it's just a formality.

The only question will be how far will the price go up before activation kicks in. My personal guess is somewhere around the $4000 mark (give or take $250), but I wouldn't be surprised to see a $5000 peak.

Looks like the price of bitcoin can be increase more look at the price from preev the Value right now was touch at $3,653

And expect more people are investing the demand is fast and if you can watch the there are small people are still selling their bitcoin because of the price increase but more investors are investing large amount of bitcoin from the market..

Less green and almost red you can seen in the market but looks like there are investors are investing a large amount .

I initially thought that the Segwit activation is already price in. But I was wrong (again). Bitcoin is really unpredictable. Yeah we will probably touch $4000 when Segwit was officially activated at Aug 22. It looks like another set of investors has put cash again in the ecosystem pushing to this level. Thinking that this is a bubble, but so much hype and speculation around Segwit that I don't think it will burst by will continue to exponentially rise in the coming week. Braced again for another good ride for this year.

Well, you have been proven wrong because current price of bitcoin is over $3650 across global exchanges.
And we still have 10 days before segwit be activated, mean there are few days left before bitcoin reach $4000.
Look at bitcoin usability and development everywhere, in Japan which has the most - 'big parts' of support for bitcoin.
China exchanges and miners may have good effect to bitcoin as well, because Russia has been triggered to make the next biggest mining pool.

It just hit $3700, exciting times ahead, it may surpass $4000 in the next few days. Looking forward to the panic threads when the correction starts and people questioning why the price dropped to $3500  ;D
