Title: [RESOLVED] Is copy-pasting no longer a bannable offence?
Post by: Foxpup on August 11, 2017, 09:59:31 AM
I ask because for the past few days I've been reporting Brown Coin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1080227)'s posts which he copied from various websites, and they keep getting deleted (most of them, anyway), yet he still keeps doing it. How is he not banned yet? ???

I forwarded that report yesterday... I am sure they will act on it...

EDIT:
They already did...

It still is and the punishment is permanent ban. There might be a lot of reports submitted before yours. It is a good thing that you posted it here in the Meta and expect that he will be pubished sooner.

He is now banned,  but if someone just handles the reports and deleted the posts without passing the info on an admin or global might miss it and not issue a ban.
