Title: Has the Bitcoin Foundations' lawyer made any statements about recent events?
Post by: Este Nuno on May 17, 2013, 01:15:47 PM
Such as Coinlab vs Gox, and the Gox seizure?

I checked his twitter but didn't see anything.

Don't you think it would be interesting to hear his thoughts on these issues?

I believe Patrick Murck works both for the Bitcoin Foundation and for CoinLab.

Oh! Well that explains it.

Obviously a major conflict of interest there...

Thanks!

Thanks for the link.

I was hoping to hear some legal opinion regarding the matters at hand from Mr. Murck. But I understand why we will not now.

It is interesting to note that half of the board is now involved in legal disputes. I don't think there is anything wrong with them pursuing legal action against each other. However, maybe they should consider expanding the board. Maybe add some more diversity. Bitcoin has grown and is still growing a lot.

We have a lawyer for the foundation? Oh yeah, that guy. He don't post much.
