Title: Newbie threads
Post by: sumangs on August 12, 2017, 08:15:40 AM
I'm always annoyed when I see a newbie posting something about he/she needs help to something relating this forum. Like there's no newbie thread in this forum. The beginners& help is in "other" section try to browse it and not making a new topic and ask for help. I started as a newbie too but I did not ask help by posting a new topic. I started reading newbie threads first before I started to make the newbie thread worth to made. I'm still few months old in this forum and still reading about about anything in this forum. But I wouldn't make someone feel annoy with these repetitive newbie help topics.

FOR NEWBIES PLEASE READ NEWBIE THREADS.   >:(  >:(  >:(

I absolutely agree on that matter, newbie these days wants spoon feeding because of their laziness. They can't even read topics for the answers on their questions.

IMO noobs should be banned from starting new topics, period.  Silly questions aside,  there are so many bullshit topics started that it makes this forum even more garbage-y.  I suspect that a lot of them are alts who just want to create topics for alt shitposters to post in.  I can't hit the ignore button fast enough.

There's a lot of answers to their questions that will also help them if they learn how to read and explore this forums, others will make the thread almost the same as the question. We all start with a newbie, it's natural to ask, but others are over about their question, especially if the question is so simple that they will know if they just read. For newbie if you really interested learn to read.  :)

Maybe the beginners and meta boards could be moved into a new section at the top of the index. I suspect many new members aren't even aware that there is a beginners board. If you added a welcome board as well, then you could restrict posting on the main boards to members who have made at least one post. That would draw attention to the beginners's boards.

I agree with this.

I'm still a newbie, simply because I do not post that often. I'm trying to change that though.

I've been using and reading this forum for about a year, but I only made an account many months ago.

To participate in a lot of things such as Airdrops, Bounties, and Etc. You need to be at least a Jr. Member. I'm working towards it.

Yes I agree, very good if there is a special place for beginners because it will help them focus on the material they need, just me confused a lot of newbie comments on things according to my experiences haven't been able to do as a beginner, because my experience as a newbie just a lot to ask, read and learn.
