Only trust the major gateway (like BitStamp, theRock, DividendRipple ecc..). In this way you can be sure that the coins that they send you can easily redeem. Probably, you will never spend your 6 BTC (TradeFortress). Unless someone, with real BTC, will put the 'trust' at TradeFortress (but in this way you are going to scam this poor man). Now there are no people who fit that description, so you cannot withdraw any more to Bitstamp.
