This means that ETH will in the future be a settlement layer and fuel for many subchains of smart contracts; a supercontainer of supercontainers if you will. In other words ETH will be able to leverage and spawn an unlimited number of specialized subchains. Today ETH could run BTC as an ERC20 compatible token inside the ETH chain In the future ETH could run BTC inside of one of its many child chains... BTC is a solar system, ETH is a galaxy, tomorrow it is a Universe.
