What do you think. At what point will the market turn around and the prices start dropping?
It seems incredibly strong at the moment, going up, up & up, but it could turn around very quickly.

My best guess would be January 2018.

The recent crazy bull run lasted about a 45 days, from early May to mid June. Past data can't predict future prices, but it does give some idea of what could happen. My guess is that we won't see such huge increases this time but that the uptrend will last longer since there are a lot more people holding crypto and the market is slightly more mature.

I think reverse is just around the corner. But you never know with crypto, right?

Right after bitcoin reach its ath and starts to decrease then people will start to sell bitcoin for altcoins  and this is probably after segwit implementation.

i think the alts will explode soon. We just need bitcoin to trigger it with drop. Maybe the ppl starting to sell the segwit news

I feel like in 10 to 15 days people will start selling their bitcoins to go buy alts.
So its still early for altprices to drop.

I think u are right. Hold ur alts this year and get great profits.

People are converting alts to bitcoin at the moment to take advantage of the btc bull run. However, it won't last forever and they will simply convert back to alts when it ends.

I don't have specific time to guess. If something so bad happen in the cryptocurrency world, then that would a reversal period. If that would be that bad, it will affect a great part of community, including bitcoin. But it would that long. The community will respond to that to solve the problem. Because they didn't, it would cause chaos to whole cryptocurrency world

Oh great! I bought the dips of many alts with my bitcoin over the last 3 months. All dips have turned in to mega crashes vs bitcoin. Big mistake buying alts. Still holding my bags watching its bitcoin value dissapear, it just won't stop falling. Unbelievable.

Alt moon triggered.

Right now it is the turn of the alts to get back. For the past couple of days at least, Bitcoin was ruling the exchange platforms in terms of growth. Most of the alts turned red in effect. But right now, the alts are now turning green and Bitcoin has relaxed a bit.

Not for at least another month.

Lets so how bitcoin is doing. If it gets rejected ~4170 we have a H&S and will see a correction soon.

Bitcoin back up to 4100+ and volume is also increasing. I would say were heading for 5000+. Lets see where BTC settles and then we'll go on an altcoin buying spree.

As for a bear market? Not this year I don't think. I have read news stories about hedge funds and other big players dumping derivatives for altcoins... With trillions pouring into the markets over the next few years this bubble could be the longest bubble in history.

Bitcoin is increasing and the volume also increasing, so that's what I am concerning about what will be the outcome. Bitcoin seems to be going up but at which level. 5000+ is a kind of psychological level do you think that it will reach 10k quickly or dumping period will start.

I dont think we will have such a terrible reversal, crypto is at a point where money is in it for long term. the BTC pump to $1000 was an exit for many people (until it hit $200)

I thought 3000 was such level, it broke it after a few attempts. But 4000 didn't take much long.  However,  I don't understand what happened today. It went up to 4400, then dropped back to 3850 and now it is around 4160. The reversal happened today and the reverse has also happened in my opinion. Maybe we will sleep and get up with price hitting 4700 (reverse may also happen) at morning.

It's not going to happen for quite some time. The fact is you've got new people coming into the exchanges every day and those new people are good part of what drives the price up. New people have that excitement and that need to have whereas seasoned Traders are buying into it because of the increasing price.

Indeed. The reversal is not possible till the end of this year. On daily basis, new traders are investing into bitcoins just to have an epic ride to moon. I believe that bitcoins are going to produce countless millionaires by the end of this year. All love and prayers for bitcoins!

But everyday that the price goes up another hundred dollars drama that's another $100 worth incentive for people to buy more and as long as they pay more it'll be worth more. It's a Snowball Effect

bust follows boom, the market must have a reversal, but it may not come soon, there are so many new people and capital come into this market, if they dont get enough profit, they will not leave
