Can Bitcoin pass 4000 usd this August or will it correct at 4000?

As of now the price of bitcoin is already 4000 dollars and I think it will increase more because many investr will invest in bitcoin so the price will continue to increase. So its better to buy bitcoin now and hold it for few motnhs and for sure you will earn a lot of profit in the future or before end of this year 2017.  We expect that the price of bitcoin next month or end of this year become 5000 dollars.

Yes were already in $4000 and I am confident it can reach $5000. I am very happy seeing how my earnings and investment growing faster. I love bitcoin and it really making a good harvest for all users. I hope the value will not go down anymore

The $4K wall has already been broken and there is a big possibility that in the meantime it can continue on its surge movement before having some little corrections afterwards. In my opinion, the focus is already one day reaching the $5K mark before the end of this year.

Bitcoin holders should just relax and continue holding to what they got as more can be coming. We are in for the biggest ride of our lives. Hope nothing untoward will happen that dampen the excitement and energy generated by Bitcoin right now.

My speculation is that Bitcoin will easily enter the $4000 threshold this month. Bitcoin is really doing some bullish performance right now. I admire how it easily recovers from the recent price dump. This year will close with a very high increase in Bitcoin price.

Yes! Congratulations to everyone who kept holding through the good times and the bad. I did not think this was possible for this year but I am still happy I made the right decisions in buying the dips. It is now paying off handsomely.

Of course, it is always the market that pushes Bitcoin to new record-breaking and even breathtaking level. There is so much energy left in the market when we enter August 1 and it is now being applied. Plus there was a barrage of many press releases quoting people that soon Bitcoin can reach as high as $100K in just short three or four years.

But there is a possibility of a correction within this week or maybe next week as shown by its own Bitcoin history...nevertheless there is also a chance that it will eventually ignore its own precedents and just proceed to clobber the $5K barrier.

Which road Bitcoin will take is something we should excitedly watch from now on...:)

that is good. people were predicting about bitcoin that its price will reach to 4000$ at the end of 2017 but now we can see that it has already cross 4000$ in mid of August. I am sure that still bitcoin has a good potential and it will still continue increasing for a long time.

I remember when the price of Bitcoin in early this year still around $1,200, we just predict in last 2017 max price of Bitcoin is $3,000. But Bitcoin growth very fast and make us have many surprise on market every day.

$4000 already passed, we must glad to be a part of the crypto community and the bitcoin users. But I can say in the next some days you will able to see another milestones will have reached by the bitcoin itself.

The price just doesn't seem to be slowing down. We crossed $4k and then breezed past $4.1k. We are now breathing down $4,200.
The only thing which has changed in the last 10 days is optimism about the implementation of Segwit. I am not sure if this is enough to sustain this rally.

That is unexpected I must say. Earlier this year I believe that bitcoin price would only reach 3000$ maximum but look at it now, it is sitting at 4000 US Dollars. If the rise continues, maybe we will even see price reach more than 5000$ in the next coming months or more, I can't say for sure because right now bitcoin is unpredictable and I can't tell when it will go up or down easily.

You can easily predict it by analyzing adoption rate/trading volume/ mining difficulty and many other factors too, based on where you are capable and familiar with. I am expecting prices to test $10,000 by end of this year. If you are not ready to believe me, I can give you short term target like $5000 before end of this month August.

Prices are right now $4150 and we can expect a minor correction from here and it may lead up to $3700 again. So, prepare accordingly unless otherwise you are not a long term holder.

I love corrections, just place your orders and forget. 3700 seems to be reasonable correction target..This tempo will lead us to 10k this year. One good thing is , nobody can denied price of Bitcoin because nobody knows for sure what is appropriate price!

Less then 1% of people I know have any familliarity with Bitcoin.  When that gets to 2-3%, an adoption explosion will go off. When it gets to 10% it will basically be a new world-wide standard for money.

Seems like SW sparked the beginning of this rise. $4000 could be here to stay but it's much more likely a correction drops us back to the mid $3000s, which is just fine for me. Bitcoin's just getting started right now, with more adoption and more features being added like Lightning we could hit $10,000 and even more in a year or two.

Its $4080+ right now. We should have another target for prediction now i guess. Though it can drop again but i don't want to think negative, so i'm hoping for it to reach $4500 as soon as possible so that our confidence gets boosted a little more and then we will start predicting for $5000 in coming days. we were there ! bitcoin has far exceeded 4000 dollars in this month. many investor join in digital currency which catapulted the bitcoin price.

Price for now is almost at 4000$ amd maybe by tommorrow or on another day we can see some great changes and I truly expect that these augist we can see that bitcoins would reach for 4000$ and and maybe by september we can see the 5000$ achieved for that month.

Exactly, need have correction price of Bitcoin if it still want continue growth stable and reasonable. An asset increasing up very fast and x2 in short time not good for investor, special with rich man, they will think again about the future Bitcoin.

I really really regret that i sell my coins while it was at $2700 i thought the price will gonna dump after the august 1 that's why i sell it but after a week it's there boom! over $3500 per bitcoin and i was so dumb because i didn't have that patience. It's really hard to do trading where im gonna buy low and sell high right now im waiting till the time of big dump so i can buy a bitcoin again.

This price rise is not good. Can someone explain to me what caused this to start. Everyone is happy, and I'm scared. This may scare off potential buyers and we can all lose bitcoin. $ 3,500 this is a good the price was.

Well, the sell orders on bitstamp or other sites show that people are still not willing to sell. So it can actually go up to 5K since there are only 600 bitcoins on sell order, whereas at 3800 we have a wallet of around 1000

On Poloniex the price went to over $4200 before starting to drop. We're starting to see some selling now but it's yet to be seen as to whether this is just a minor drop or if it's a correction or a dump.

I think the price has risen too quickly from $3000 to $4200. Don't be surprised if the price drops to below $3000 as part of a correction.

As we speak, this bull run is indeed the result of everything related to the soon to be activation of Segwit. In that regard, we will likely see the price remain close to current levels, or increase further in the coming days to +$4500 levels. Next difficulty adjustment is slightly over ten days away from now, and till that time I don't see any correction kicking in. However, once Segwit has finally been activated, the sole reason of this bull run to thrive will be taken away, and we'll likely see the market correct itself, which is perfectly normal considering the increase that we have been through. In that regard, either keep holding, or try to cash out some profits in order to buy back at lower levels later.

I think that you need to refresh your chart page, because the price has already been close to the $4200 level some hours ago.

I wouldn't mind the price getting to 5k anytime as I'm preparing to run over, tomorrow, to the bank to buy more bitcoin (bought for 200$ for the first time last week). :D But  if the price keeps going like this, even with the small 200-300$ corrections in price, we'll see a really, really nice numbers later this year.

We never know what happen for tomorrow, but I fully trust bitcoin that their price were not stop to raised up. Due to high numbers of demand of bitcoin in the market. I truly believe that bitcoin value was not stop raising up of anyone in the market.

Bitcoin has just started now, with the adoption of more and more features being added as the lightning we can reach $15,000 and even more in a year or two because of a couple of hours ago bitcoin towards $4000, only last a few minutes later the now declining stepped $3900. I am sure at the end of August the bitcoin will more than $4000 and continues to grow ;)

I think bitcoin will stay at $4000 up to the end of this year because the increase from the last month is really that high that having $4000 today is so much for bitcoin. I am positive that the value of bitcoin will continue to increase but for this year I think it is enough to $4000.

LOL... seems like no one is capable of predicting the demand for Bitcoin. The prices are rising so steeply that even the most optimistic forecasts have been breached. I was expecting $5,000 per coin by the end of this year. Now it seems that we may even witness $10,000 by December 2017. I am holding on to my coins. Will consider selling them, once the $25,000 per coin mark is reached.

It takes time to reach that high level. Maybe in next 2 or 3 years we can see sharp uptrend on charts but as i stated before it takes time and markets need liquidity.

I can feel you, I did sold even later at $2,300 because of the need that my parents wants me to buy something for them. Although it's also an investment so the regret feeling is just  setting aside. We just need to move forward still if you have 1 bitcoin or better to have more we still have chance to make more profit as the price of bitcoin is increasing and now we are at $4,000.

It did cross 4000 dollars,now let's wait and see how many more milestones bitcoin will accomplish and how many people will change their thoughts on bitcoin. The month started with full of panic and soon people got positive energy when price started to move forward towards $3000 on a short. The same crossed $3500 in unexpected time and now $4000 seems quite stable as more investment and circulation of digital currency is found high.

I think the price will be running again, we know the segwit is about the time to be released, so the price of bitcoin already unpredicted right now, some people make opinion abvout the bitcoin that should be difficult touch $4000 but the time already prove that so easy for bitcoin.

Fork ended successfully, and BTC just continue previous moving. Don't be afraid, I was at 1000 dollars then at 2000 and so on..Just relax. There is great demand, BTC is mainstream now and many people buying it in expectation that will replace this corrupted monetary system..Now I'm sorry I ever had any doubts!!!

Well it got to 4300$ today, and with every day passing the price jumps by 100-200$ and if this tempo continues we may very well reach the mark of $5000 :D This morning my dad told me that he'll give me $500 to invest asap ($500 here is a little more than an average salary ).

I think this is over, and now the bitcoin price will reach $ 4500, and probably will continue to rise. Well, who has a lot of bitcoin, better keep it, because there may be big surprises in the future.

I think for me the highest price that it can get this August is around $5000 as well. And then we will see a price correction along the way but it will go down as what other analyst have predicted. Yes of course if others can still buy with the current price, its still good because once if reach $5000 you can easily take profit.

The price, after touching $4400 yesterday, was again around $4000 before an hour ago. It is fluctuating too much in these few days. A good time for buyers i guess, but not for the ones who are about to sell their coins as they want it to be at its highest. But i guess it will go high soon again and we might see it around $5000 in one or two days, and if it goes in reverse, we may see a price around $3000 or $3500.

I'm really glad to see bitcoin passing the price which is only being speculated in the last several months and now it is already passed over $4000, back in the earlier months of this year probably most of us are seeing it to be impossible to happen and we are just expecting for $3000 or $3500 price . Yeah it already happened but what is the point to discuss old market activity on certain price?  Of course we will see that days which bitcoin prices will be above 5000$ and this will not be end of current uptrend.

Yes mate, it reached $4500, now i it standing at $4,2k and i think there is gonna be a correction on the price, it has been a bubble and it has to dump for a bit..
i can see a $3,8k for the next week, it is more probable because you all know that when the price goes up, then it will suddenly go down.
It has always been bullish, so no need to worry.

I think the last bitcoin spike was done because the soft fork was done with no problems ...
The next randevouz will be on November or more late, with the possible hard fork ...

The fact is that not every user wanted to buy Bitcoin at prices that were still quite high yesterday. It seems to me that investments in Bitcoin can be done when they themselves fall to the decisive limit. But as today the price for Bitcoin is still high, we can only expect further growth.

That is off course certain that we will see prices above $5000 as the prices peaked above $4500 and it is a matter of time that the price of bitcoin will cross those big figures,but right now i would like to see a good correction because i hope the price cannot keep moving without any correction and i hope we could come below $3500 before another rally.

yes there is no doubt about this that very soon we are going to see the price too much increase, may be very soon we reach to 5000$ level in next few months. but it is also expected that the price of bitcoin will continue increasing and at the end of 2017 its price can reach to 7000$ therefore i am saving a good amount of bitcoin for that price and hope will give me a very good profit.

in the previous rally, we was at 2600EUR and then we go to 1610 (-38% approximately) and so maybee to go to 2350eur or something like this befor reach new high...

Even if we were to assume the worst, and it "corrects" to $2000 in December,,, it is still such a strong positive, even exponential year over year that we will all be millionaires (assuming you have more than one BTC) in less than a decade...

Seems we got it. People are so positive here about price rising that it's really happening. I think people wants high price and many of them is doing their best to help bitcoin in rising. I think next goal must be 5000$ in September and hope it will be successful because currently it rises really well. But personally that high rise makes me to think that it won't continue so long and in very near future it will start a fall. Hope I amn't right and rise will continue, congrats guys so high price.

Anyone who does not understand the risks of investing in a free market should NOT be investing in BTC at this point.  I agree.  "no guts no glory".

I however understand the risks, the positives and the potential and am willing to risk what is necessary to make BTC or BCC or whatever go to the moon.
