Remarkable start wish I had jumped in sooner on the mining

I knew it, I waited all 4 hours on launch to start mining solo from start.

same, i saw this come out on day one, and was like worldcoin?!?  It got lost with all the other crap coins that were releasing.  I put my miners on it yesterday.  Only new coin, they have stayed at longer than 12 hours.  Going to ride this one out and see where it goes.

It's no different than any of the other 'crap coins'

People just decided to flock to this one for some reason.

Wait until the next coin releases and the hash rate will tank.

You've already sold thousands the day it came out, how much earlier could you have started lol?  These aren't GLDcoins where there are millions of them in existence the first day, these are only 32 per block from the start.

Im very curious as to what other newer scrypt coins network hashrates look like with WDC growing so rapidly, there are only so many miners on alt coins out there.

Current rate i saw is like 2ltc/100wdc.  At 1200Kh/s it's the equivalent of 6LTC/day

What would we ever have done without your input.

WDC is not like other alt-coins.  You just come off sounding sore that you missed the boat or are trying to manipulate the markets

Many reasons actually.  It was the first alt coin in a long time to have a decent start with no premine, the launch was clean and the devs seem to know what they are doing as far as giving a professional look to the coin.  Then there's the normal "fast transactions" talking point.

Of course if another coin can pull that off and bring some real innovation Im sure the miners will flock to it, but until then WDC looks to be a solid bet.

vs 2 per day if you were mining LTC directly.

but ya, you all missed the boat guys don't mine WDCs...

Makes me curious why people are buying at 2 LTC / 100 they are handing early miners a very nice premium, 300% give or take, over what they can get mining BTC

jkc is 75M
elc is 2.52M
bbq is 100M
cnc is 100M
ftc is 219M

I don't have power, or game, hazard, lqc or etc...i would expect ftc would pickup drastically if they could get to 33k block.

I could say the same for you  ::)

I'm not even bashing WDC and already the defense force is out. It's just silly to call all these other ALTs crap coins while praising WDC. Makes you look like a total shill. I try to stay objective.

i don't get it either, but I'm real new in this scene.  My guess is they thinking 100 of them will be worth a lot more than 2LTC in the near future.  I'm holding mine, I'm thinking that probably is the case.

I did the calcs and at 1 WDC is .02LTC which is .027BTC that's equivalent to .00054btc, even cnc in tank mode is at .00083.  It's at least as good as cnc due to the fast transaction and better than cnc with regards to the fact it isn't dead yet.  So buying them up at .00054btc is a pretty good bet.  Now if it does a yac, or bbq it won't be good, but if it opens at .003 liked CNC on exchange...going to be interesting. Because if it does that, my 300 WDC is almost 1 BTC!

I do not understand why people say the launch was a success when it had a difficulty of 0 which adapted VERY SLOWLY.
Sure, the website and graphics design on this one looks great, and the fact that it was announced and actually launched at the announced time is nice, but that's the LEAST to expect when they want to make some money.

The Insta-Mine blocks were probably only found in areas where the most nodes were active during launch - the countries where most people lived that were awake during that time. And the "launchers" themselves.

I still think this was one of the nicer launches (given the shitty last few weeks) but people are blowing it out of proportion. It was insta-mined after all.

inb4 "your ass is sore because you missed the boat": was awake and started mining in minute one, got a few worldcoins.

Didn't you follow the feathercoin launch, same people who were saying it'll be the next great coin at launch went 180 when it dumped and said "Ugh, I knew this coin is shit!"

Yeah that's killed the hash rate, they were doing close to 40% of it.

It was launched at midnight on Europe, I think it was a good time at the beggining of the new day.
Where are you from?

The only thing I didn't like was the announcement time on EST time first, very confussing. Later they updated with GMT.

It launched somewhere around 3 AM in western europe. since the name is worldcoin they could have picked a saturday/sunday transition

He's upgrading servers and getting some bugs worked out.
