Title: BTC - Where to buy?
Post by: s4v4g3 on August 13, 2017, 07:02:07 AM
Hi,

I need to buy some BTC from a 'safe site'.
I do care about my privacy I'm not looking to provide my Government ID or my Driving License or anything personal.
Have guys tried any site that doesn't require sensitive personal info?
I'm really curious.

It's going to be tough to buy online without ID, but you can check LocalBitcoins for sellers that don't require Identify verification.

It is pretty hard to buy bitcoin without any ID, it may cause a lot of people to no really trust you. I am not aware if Bitcoin atms need ID, but I don't think so. They do offer really bad rates though and may not be in your area.

Would recommend taking a look on localbitcoins for some sellers who dont need ID to buy bitcoin, but they might offer bad rates.

It's getting harder and harder. Even LocalBitcoins traders are asking for ID now. I believe that you can still buy bitcoins from ATMs without providing any ID (you may want to cover your face in front of the ATM for additional privacy :P)... other than that, options are limited. A month ago, you would have been able to exchange P2P for a BTC-e code, but that's not possible anymore, either. The wild west times are definitely over and regulation is kicking in fast.

In my opinion if you are looking for more bitcoin whynot test something other else? after that you can get a lot of bitcoin.
Here is the easiest way that you can buy 4.0 bitcoins instead buying. This is just an example i would like to say that if you are looking for more btc. Then you should visit the b8ball official [ann][ico] where it is quite mentioned that the price of B8ball coins is 2.5$. But there are 40% off on the b8ball coins for only 1 week. It's probally decentralized as well. After 1st week as the discount end then sell your coins into high prices. Then go for investment in bitcoin best way to become a good earner and good investor.

Try to find on LocalBitcoins guys who don't need ID verification.

Well, you can always buy BTC from a BTC ATM.That's the best solution, there are not many good options without providing a ID.

Also, you can buy without providing a ID from Kraken, but you need to provide your name, address, etc...

That would be my recommendation too. Localbitcoins is one of the best places to buy or sell bitcoins and there are lot different traders who offer different payment methods and make transactions more convenient to make. I think you could find a seller there who don't require the ID easy. I think many deals on localbitcoins are based on trust.

Buying bitcoin and other altcoins have become an easy task due to the increased number of exchanges available. The same has provided the users with different payment gateway as well different buying opportunities with varied price margin. So rather than going with someone's suggestion it's easy to Google and know which is best by experimenting.

You can buy bitcoin from localbitcoins.com which is very easy to use and you are already directed to the local sellers because it is based on the country, whether you are from USA (let say for example) you will see a lot of sellers that are from USA also so you can have an easy transaction with other people from your country and don't worry because all of the transactions there are secured.

Why using Loacalbitcoin when there is a dozen reputed websites where you can buy Bitcoin with not a lot of personal pieces of information to give (or none). I would prefer to give my personal ID to an exchange instead to someone on LocalBitcoin that you don't even know. On top of that, you buy at a higher rate? For example on Kraken you can make a bank deposit and buy bitcoin without giving your ID card, by just giving your first name, last name, date of birth and phone number

You should try VirWox, if the Kraken, CoinBase and Luno are asking for more information. For me, I don't think these sites are asking for too much information. Sometimes, they got scammed too so that's one of the major reasons why they ask for personal information because scammers can never reveal their truth identity ;D

Your best option is localbitcoins. If you really can't use localbitcoins for whatever reason I guess coinbase with a credit card, but don't expect your bitcoins for over a week. It's a joke of an exchange.

I am not really familiar with the trading facilities or systemes of Bitcoin, but in the Philippines, I think you can buu from coins.ph and store it there as well. You can convert it to cash easily also and cash it out whenever you want in different ways. Thats the only option I know and I can sure but I am sure there are a lot of other options out there thar suits your demand. And I am also able to relate with you as you want your transaction to be safe.

There are decentralized exchanges out there that don't ask for any info. Bisq is the only one I know that is decentralized and has fiat/crypto trades. It also uses Tor for anonymity.

It depends on your place if there is a service provider who could do services like that. In our country there is something like that. Make an account to the site but that is very limited. You cant withdraw money but you can deposit money with another 3rd party company. But its very low and its like .oo8 btc only. Better find any services in your country like that if you dont want to use any verfification on your account.

Many people are advising to use localbitcoins for purchasing bitcoins in bulk or even as much you want. I think it is quite feasible in localbitcoins to make things easy for the customer to get them. And it is more powerfully and fast hub of bitcoins, we can say “a trusted hub”.

I think everything needs personal data. all is for our own security. almost all use such security. it is a self-proclaimed system, in order not to be accessed by people who want to steal it.

Use the LocalBitcoins.com "Buy bitcoins with cash" option. You agree on a price, then meet at a public place (like a fast food restaurant). The only picture ID needed is the picture of Benjamin Franklin. Obviously, make sure the seller gives you the correct secret key that he gets when he releases the bitcoin before you let him leave with the cash.

Bitcoin is available at Bitcoin Exchanges. You can purchase bitcoins from other users. A Bitcoin exchange could be another source of future business funding. You can be a bitcoin miner by investing in software and hardware. With the help of encryption technology, the hardware has more power, the more likely you are to earn bits.

If you would like to buy bitcoin without verifying your identity, look for somebody who is selling bitcoin peer-to-peer. You can post your offer in the market section in this forum... most of them uses escrow to secure the transactions.

If you don't want to provide personal information to third party, then localbitcoins would be the place for you.
But I would recommend not buying all from one guy, buy in chunks if its a big amount you're gonna spend. Be very careful about the person, the place to meet and transact etc.
Good luck!

The easiest and fastest way to buy bitcoins instantly with a credit card or debit card is via SpectroCoin where you can acquire $50 or less of bitcoin fast and usually within 10 minutes.
As you prove to be a reliable customer then limits are raised to $200 in four days and $500 in seven days.
Other options include Coinbase (Europe, USA & UK), SpectroCoin (Europe) and Coinmama (worldwide).
However, you should be aware that buying bitcoins instantly with a debit or credit card will usually result in higher fees because there are higher transaction and processing fees and a higher risk of fraud.

The wallets are sensitive so you really need to put the IDs. to prove that you are the owner of the wallet in case it is stolen or may have an unexpected problem. If you do not really want to use Blockchain, Coinomi Apps wallet, Jaxx wallet and so on, but you can not get it back if it's a mistake you just stole.

I don't seen that you didn't recommend coinmama and i think this one don't need any information to buy bitcoins in the first $150
Or the other alternative is to use the Bitcoin Debit or credit card this is i think could much more  alternative to don't share your personal info or to be anonymous..  you can check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242788.0
Its a list of updated cards that i think some of the debit cards is not required personal information you can directly deposit and convert into bitcoin..

You could buy at some of the exchanges. Also, the bitcoin.com app gives you the chance to buy through the app with a credit card (I believe they work with Simplex). I normally buy through Coinbase and send them to a separate wallet (you have a weekly card limit). I know a lot of people don't trust Coinbase for crypto currency keeping, but at least for purchasing it has worked well for me.

My suggestion is localbitcoins, have only good experiences. If you find some trader there from your area the transactions could realy be fast and easy and you can choose the payment method. No third party, no high fees. You can also choose some exchanger but there are not much of them left who could be trusted completely for smooth deal.

It’s not risky to buy bitcoin without exchanges where your complete verification done. In bitcointalk  marketplace you can buy bitcoin by keeping most trusted escrow in a community. But here you have to pay some fees for escrow if your planning to invest more then find good escrow in community.

I dont advice to use over the counter options if we take indo consideration some scamming facts on forum. Better to register on big, known exchanges and start to study about "how to buy cryptourrencies". Exchanges are much more safer and faster than buying from someone else.

Bitstamp is a better option for buying or i think coinbase is also an option. In buying through coinbase you get 10$ worth extra bitcoins free. Its not something that worth 10$ its i think when free so why shouldnt avail.? And second thing its safe. But the only problem in coinbase is that its buying/selling optio isnt supported in my country,i dont know about yours, rather check it.

You can but BTC using many sites without providing your Gov. ID or driving license such as cex.io
But there is a limit for buying without verifying your account. So if you are a big whale & wanna buy big amount of BTC at once you will have to provide your personal informations.

You cannot buy bitcoin from btc official website,
you have to buy it from trusted seller, I know some trusted seller. You have to pay with dollar if you agree then tell me.
And be careful when you buy btc from unknown seller cause some seller can cheat with you. So before buying you must be careful.
