Just now make a withdraw from Bitgrail and it take 0.00133153 BTC ($5.49 ) as a fee !! (https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/cdf1dc891dfc0bd827b3b4f442ab5095e5073486bce9711fde859da7fccf7ecb) Oh my God! I think it's too many fees for a transation. How to overcome this high fee? Do you follow any special tips to overcome high Bitcoin fee?
Badly i need to know any good tips about it. Someone help me please.

google tells me that bitgrail is a small exchange!
if you paid 0.0013BTC in fees then there is nothing you can do about it, you can complain to that exchange why they are taking that big a fee from you. or stop using it and use another exchange that takes a smaller fee for withdrawals. for example i heard that poloniex and bitstamp are taking 0.0001BTC fee!

Network fees? It's an exchange so I believe that's normal as their transaction contain multiples outputs and inputs. If you want to avoid that, you must stop using exchanges, start using wallets that allow dynamic fees and trade with other individuals on the forums, It will cost you much less.

Well  you should try to understand , more fees  = more quick your transaction get confirmations ,at the same time hurts so much because bitcoin price is up  , a fee valued in 5 $ could be 10$  in months , try sending a ticket to the support  .

did they really take that much fee from you?
because that would be the first exchange that does things like this!

usually what happens is that exchanges take a fixed amount of fee. for example as i said above poloniex takes 10K satoshi last time i heard. and then the exchanges pay any network fee that is needed, the user never even sees this unless they check the tx.
this means if you withdraw from exchange you still pay 10K but they pay 100K for network fee.

and that is not strange since the tx is big 668 bytes.

How to avoid it? If I want to exchange XRB then i need an exchange platfrom and XRB is exchanging in mercatox and bitgrail.only this two site are added XRB for exchange. So if i want to convert XRB to BTC then I need to use any one platform avobe them.But mercatox is very bad and they delay for withdraw.

It is too much but there is nothing you can do about the fees on online wallets or exchange websites. I advice you to use Electrum wallet because it is easy to use and you can change fee amount.

Yeah I sent 0.1BTC yesterday, I selected priority in Blockchain.info si it was 200sats per byte.
Apparently lots of small transactions had to be combined, so it was bigger than normal.

It cost $9! If Paypal tried to take $9 for a $390 transaction without insuring it, they wouldn't be a business for very long!

Not yet use ELECTRUM wallet but heard about it and seen that a lot of people using this wallet. I have to use ELECTRUM wallet for store my bitcoin. But for receiving Bitcoin i can't control the fee I think.if i am wrong correct me?I only control sending fee what I know about electrum wallet.

you can also buy any altcoin by ether pair from bitgrail,,,and then withdraw to this your ether wallet for reducing transaction fees that's simple tricks...you have to look xrb to ether pair at bitgrail.

I knew this tips, But the problem is there is no ETH pair in bitgrail. i followed this rule(that you mention ) in another exchange platform.And it's the best way to overcome the fees.

Since the 8th of Aug 2017, someone has started to spam the network with tx's with low fees again... {jealous much?}

A lot of people cannot handle the success that Bitcoin had lately, so they started to spam the network again. The exchanges

will latch onto that again and charge higher fees than normal. {in some instances, this is not even necessary}

Some exchanges want to take every cent from their customers by charging too much for withdrawals and taking most of the fees for themselves.

I am not sure why this is happening but when I use blockchain.info wallet to send funds (they adjust the fees every time as per the network load), sometimes the fees almost equal to nothing and sometimes it becomes too high that makes me postpone transaction unless it is very urgent. This happens every time I try to make a transaction and the fee fluctuates in between extremely low to extremely high amounts. However, I have noticed much improvement after the fork in terms of transaction confirmation time.

Agreed with you.I also think that they are taking a lot of fees but its not for transaction fees,they taking it for their own pocket.its  very suspicious for an exchange platform.But its also my bad luck that,without this exchange I have no other option right now :( :(

We can't do about it because that is the result for getting higher demands and popularity of bitcoin, while the bitcoin is getting more of it then the supporters like miners is having a hard time to sustain the network so they need more amount of fees in order to be motivated and also to get more profits so the miners can bring more mining rigs to support the network.

It's true, poloniex is only taking 0.0001 as transaction fees. You could always ask them why the transaction fee is that high, by sending them a support ticket.

All exchanges now increase the withdrawal fee, what about yobit, this exchange charges users with the fees of 0.0015btc?

depositing not showing and many more. That is why I never ever trust poloniex. It is totally suck. I do not know why many people keep depositing their money in this platform and lose their money. I never heard transaction fees should be directly propportional to the price of Bitcoin and anyone that does that only want to create bad blood in the community - imagine how having to run to altcoins to avoid high transactional fee is fast becoming a choice.  I noticed a reduction in fees in transactions I did last week  because the week before I had paid 0.0012 BTC for priority fee. I had to pay the same fee. Switch to Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin (Satoshi was a big blocker) and Bitcoin Core want all transactions happening offchain (Lightning Network) because Blockstream wants to become the new Visa/Mastercard.

This fee is really huge. Few days ago i used exchange and paid 0.0004 Fee and i thought that it is huge as Bitcoin price is really high, but your fee is even higher. If you want to avoid these huge fees you should stop using bitgrail, there are many sites that use 10 times smaller fees.

Bitgrail is an exchange, and checking it, it can swap your bitcoins into alts and then withdraw. Use doge, or litecoin or bitcoincash to move coins from exchange to exchange.

Its pretty normal when it comes to withdrawing exchanges. The one i used for withdrawal from exchange take a confirmation email and then that to be sent to block in batch so that eats too much time too. Use wallet that have dynamic fee or any other online wallet. but don't use exchange as wallet.

Someone or a group of people are playing with the transaction fees by filling the chain with smaller amounts, it seems like exchanges wait for this kind of opportunities to grab more BTC in the name of fees. have to find some solution for this otherwise its going to be tough.

well i think higher fee means higher fast in completing the transaction. If its because the exchanger is greedy for so much fee, you better use another exchanger with low fees. Recently i got a high fee also with amount of 0.0003 and if you want to make it fast you need to pay .004 and that was so big

Well, in present with the situation the price of Bitcoin very high, most exchange increasing their fees for earning profit from that, only Poloniex exchange still keep @10k sat for every user, but the time for wait accept withdraw depends amount BTC and your account ;D

In a perfect world I would suggest coinbase.com cause that's fees is 2$ and less. Then if you want a good fees remedy for once and all use electrum wallet. There they have dynamic fees and also you can set your own fees. So if you want to send low amount then use electrum that's the best alternative I would suggest.

I think their default fees are set to the highest fee possible to get your transaction to the fastest next block to be done. Even if you send a small or high value transaction I think it is still within that BTC0.001+. My advice is better to hold Bitcoin and some other transactions and wait for at least 1st week of september because I read that the lower fees will be implemented after 1 month of Segwit.

As I look at your dilemma, the exchanges is not taking that transaction fee or even taking advantage from you, if you may look at your transaction details in the blockchain worth $5.15 bitcoin is the fee so it means that it goes to the miners that is confirming your transaction. I know what you are feeling right not as I experience it myself too I really don't know what is happening right now with the fees though. Let's hope for the best to come in Bitcoin fees.

How to solve the large fee, you can swap to other altcoin a smaller fee. I use dogecoin if I want to withdraw from exchange with a large fee. expl: I got coin A, I sell to B and I buy another D coin withdraw finish. ;) Hopefully you can understand my explanation . Regards :)

That is the effect of the network spam a few months ago. Exchanges adopted by charging higher tx fees to their clients to hasten tx time. It was effective until the spam stopped. Now it is too expensive. Some exchanges have not adopted to current fee.

How horrible for this exchange to have such high fees on making transactions and i would really definitely jump in another exchange on this case. Mostly the fees as of now is on averaging between 0.0004-0.0001 which is too far away on the fees that they set on you to make such transfers. One thing to ask why would use that exchange if theres another which is more reputable and do have less fees?

Spam attacks pop up from time to time, that's a certainty. What isn't certain, is when they will be popping up. You can't expect exchanges to change their fee structure back and forth just because the spam attack isn't operating at full power anymore. If exchanges reduce fees, and people experience slower confirmation due to miners prioritizing transactions based on their included fees, people will complain. If exchanges end up increasing the fees to offer people faster chances on confirmations, again, people will complain because they think the fees are too high. In this situation exchanges can't seem to do anything that pleases their customers, because whatever they do, people will keep complaining.

First of all, the sender paid a very high fee, although the size was less than 1KB. I checked the transaction in Blockchain.info, and the fee paid was close to 200 Sat/Byte. There was no need to pay this much higher fees. A fee of 30 Sat/Byte could have confirmed this particular transaction in 2 hours at the most (the size is around 670 B).

I just made a transaction today where I had 15 minutes to pay through a payment gateway and I paid 0.0266 and 0.0054 for the transactions fee and it was as 1 minute left and the 1st confirmation went through. Just in case you wanted to know how long it takes.

Trade with Litecoin instead. Litecoin's fees are much lower.

PayPal's fees in the US are 2.9% plus a static $0.25 fee.

$390 x 0.029 + $0.25 = $11.56, which would be the fee PayPal charges you if you're paying for goods and services.  So it's more than BTC.

In the UK they're even higher - 3.4% + £0.2.  390 dollars is about 300 pounds, so it would be 10.4 pounds, or 13.45 dollars.

BTC's fees are completely off the rails due to the bubble that we're in, but for significant transfers they're still lower than PayPal.  Regardless, SegWit will be activated in 1450 blocks and after a while we'll start moving our coins to SegWit-enabled wallets.

Daytime robbery, I received some milibits and the transaction had a fee of 15 satoshi per byte and it got confirmed in about 3 hours.

Since you are withdrawing from an exchange there is nothing you can do at the moment most of the exchanges put a high fee because if they do not then the customers begin to complain about the site being a scam so for them it is better the customers complain about the high fee since that does not damage their reputation.

Yes, there are many exchanges and mining pools that charge way too much as a transaction fee, but that doesn't mean you should pay it. Stick with reasonable service providers and let the highwaymen collect dust.

Still,  about 1.5 months ago I was getting charged $8 to send $50.  That was with mycelium.  Things have improved considerably since then.

I use xapo and I can say that situation is the same, for low speed confirmation 1.03 mBTC for high speed 1.4 mBTC, and for me that is just too much, I`m sending money but its expensive, bitcoin is not cheap to use. To give 3 dollars for one transaction? Where are we going, and will things ever be better? I hope that after 1 august situation will be better about fees, but nothing has changed and that worries me. Perhaps this fee is too high and needs to be revised. However, high fees mean that the transaction time will be improved and faster than before. Besides, perhaps your trading volume is too much leading to an increase in fees. Limit large transactions and multiple transactions. I think it will improve transaction fees

You should check what priority you chosen while proceeding the transaction. If you had highest priority of transaction meaning your transaction should be processed within 10 minutes then you have to pay high fees for that. Also note that your transaction fees are x percentage of your transacted amount, so higher the amount of transaction higher are the fees also. So just check those parameter first and then recalculate it.

The transaction fee is too high. If we trade in large quantities it will take a lot of money. I think you should choose another type of trading or trading platform with lower fees. While waiting for the fee to be revised!

I have already mentioned many times that bitcoin transaction fees aren't fair, bitcoin users have to pay lessbas it was from the first time. By the way currently we don't have to pay as much fees as we had months ago and exchanger don't has to request you to fee so high fee, seems they aren't good or they want much profit.
If there isn't any other platform to trade with XRB, then contact exchanger and request less transaction fees or they will lose their good customer.

I don't know why so many services require such a high fee. It's a nuisance. Transaction fees as low as 0.000003 do get confirmed eventually. You might have to wait 24-48 hours, but they do get confirmed.

It is not so much yet. On YoBit which I use for exchanging the fee is 0.0015 BTC and it is too much. So I try to not use the function of withdrawing bitcoins to my wallet.
if you are searching for a low fee wallet I can recommend you that one that I use - Hashnest, the fee is only 0.0002 BTC.
I really thought the hard fork will bring to us low fees, but that doesn't happen, at least we have now 4000$ price for bitcoin and that is even better.

Well this would feel bad but we can do nothing to control the transaction fees taken by exchange. Maybe you can avail service from other exchange like polo which charge 10k sats only but if the altcoins you are trading are not listed there then you have no choice.

I see that the transaction fee is very much justified due to the fact that it was confirmed in a space of eight minutes, If you really dont need faster confirmation dont pay such outrageous transaction fees. I believe a fee of $1.30 can be confirmed within an 45 minutes.

I did get one with 0.004 fee once, the main question is the number of inputs and outputs, hence the byte size of the transaction, a regular ~222 byte with one input and output doesn't cost more than ~0.00015 on average fees, but larger ones multiply the needed fees.

That is ridiculous that kind of exchanges are too abusive. You better start using other alternative exchangers. I would rather wait for a day or two so before i could get my money as long as the fees are still acceptable.

If we look at the confirmations (because that's what you're obviously referring to), there is not much that one can do other than to wait for new blocks to be found (assuming you pay a proper fee and a miner picks up your transaction).

Regarding SegWit activation, SegWit will activate after 1399 blocks (which translates into roughly 10 days). In case you're wondering, even SegWit won't be doing anything in terms of improving confirmation times.

A good tips is don't use This exchanges (Bitgtrail) anymore as they provide some bad service such as what you've found out.

it's normal for an exchanger site to use fee 0.001+ btc if you feel it's expensive you have to sell bitcoin to eth then send to your wallet or maybe direct you sell to fiat.

I think you can always choose a less fee, it will take longer to get confirmed, but if it is not a big amount, you should be ok with it.

the segwit will be activated in the september, but i don't know about the exact date of segwit activation but it already locked in. Too many people are using bitcoin right now that makes the traffic in the bitcoin blockchain is really high. i think that makes the bitcoin slow.

When Segwit is activated the fees will decrease dramatically, not to mention increasing the blocksize and the addition of the lightning network.

i think in bittrex, the fee is 0.001 btc too because the last time I am trying to withdraw in early of august, I see the fee is 0.001 btc but I don't know how much the fee now. I am not to active for withdraw because I only withdraw if I need money so I think you need to make sure the fee first. I think the other exchanges is different than bittrex but I am not sure about this.

Even with that you'll loose some fees in between which is equivalent to that same amount so it's better you ignore and pay. There's no cheap way to bypass the transaction fees.

I am a regular user of Bittrex exchange.But not yet withdraw btc from bittrex.I only withdraw Ethereum from my bittrex wallet.but i dont think that bittrex also charge like bitgrail.bitgrail is fucking shit exchange ever i have used.

also happen to me , using coinomi wallet i got 3$ fees for 120$ transaction dont know if that high or low but im sure this is above normal , and transaction goes quickly like some people say higher fast mean faster confirmation , i hope its reduced a little bit tho

But I think that is something we have to live with at the moment.

I suppose a normal transaction will be cheaper then. The fees for withdrawl at exchanges, I would be surprised if they go down.

It could be true but you all want is just to see the priority can see while you are going for transaction if you want a fast transaction of the time 10 mints you will have to pay the high fees decide for it no cutting will happen in it but in the past the transaction was nearly equal to the free but you can do it only if you are patient enough then because if you want free transaction then it will take some hours or may be the day so I think it will be free for you it depends on your priority of transaction.

Indeed, bittrex fees.for bitcoin withdrawal is BTC0.001 as well even though my last withdraw in this month was just BTC0.01.
Anda exchanges always want a share from their users whether you want to withdraw coins or fiat currency in order to make their site goes well, so make sure you have made enough profits to cover those expenses :D

Lmao…you haven’t seen nothing. Seems like all exchangers are charging the same.fee. I also made a withdrawal from Xapo yesterday, and got charged about the same $5 for withdrawal, lol. I don’t really how much other wallets might be charging, but Xapo makes things quite easy for, due to some of the things I had to do.

Transaction fees are really becoming a problem now. It should be low. If we choose less fee than we have to wait but what if I do not have that much time and I want it instantly. Everyone is trying to make their own profits. Xapo must be doing the same. They know people will not give up on their asset whatever comes in their way.

Everytime the bitcoin lrice increases i think the bitcoin fees increase too not unlike before that its free or less fee it wouldn't hurt that much nut now fees kills me its better to hold and withdraw our bitcoin for once its hard to send and send  this could be a problem in the future but im thankful that im using our based country wallet

There has been a surge of transaction fees ever since the value of bitcoins surged to new heights,  I really thought that after the August 1, the transaction fees are going to reduce significantly but it seems that's not the case at all, I think we should just get used to it now that prices is skyrocketing.

Unless exchanges manage themselves in a different matter the amount you are sending should be irrelevant to the cost of the fee, the size of the transaction  and the speed of confirmation is what determines how much of a fee is what you are going to pay.

I am paying for about 4 USD for my transaction using Electrum.

I am getting 2 confirmations after 10 minutes (~about one block created). Is this normal?

Note: I rebroadcasted the fees so maybe for rebroadcast there is a "double spend" warning, not sure if this causing any delay.

No no no, this is not normal. You should not be paying $4 for one transaction unless it is a very big transaction. You should be paying more like $1 actually.

Well, i don't know is it normal or not but getting 2 confirmations after 10 minutes is quite fast and i think it's worth it by spending 4 usd to get fast confirmation like that. Actually you can customize the fee and you can decrease the fee on blockchain but i never use electrum, i don't know if electrum have the same option or not.

Yea, Electrum is pretty flexible on that. You could in theory sent out a transaction with super low fees, and rebroadcast with incremental fees if you want. Not sure how the nodes will treat the multiple transaction though :)

it's true, fee high transaction very faster. It has been proven and highly recommended to use high fees for faster transactions.

Its really a high fee man.They are spoiling their reputation by themselves.I have used poloniex exchange and their withdrawal fee is just 0.0001 btc.I advice you better not to use exchanges for storing  bitcoins and instead use wallets like Electrum,etc where you could even set your fee manually.There is no security threat in using that wallet.

This is a pretty big problem with bitcoin recently, they have been a huge price rise and with this huge price rise the transaction fees have almost doubled in value. More and more bitcoin is starting to looks like it is only useable for the rich, since a 5 dollar fee is huge for someone who doesn't have a lot of money

Not so much "hodling" but people will stop using bitcoin.And once business stop getting customers with bitcoins payments they will stop accepting bitcoin.

That's quite a lot of fee for exchange. Usually they only took 0.001 or even lower. I paid 0.0005 fee yesterday to send some bitcoin and i considered it expensive.

there is no tips to avoid high fees because with use priority fee then to reach 1 confirmation for our transactions will happened pretty fast unless you're more likely to wait more than 1 day to reach 1 confirmations then you might to use low fee for each transactions however yesterday i did send 0.03 btc with $3 so it's pretty high too but as long as my transactions not stuck i can accept that

Well, I also often get big deals, but have never received such a fee for a single transaction. Sometimes transactions that I do greater than your transaction that you post, but the fee is still lower.

I have the same advise with OP...if there is a chance you can use another good service aside from this Bitgrail then do so. Bitgrail must be charging more than what the miners are charging because it too want to have some profits in all transactions that it handled...sometimes we also have to understand that they are in business and as such have to make some handsome profits along the way. It is all your choice now to leave or not to leave.

i start trading altcoin at 2014 every i withdraw my money from bittrex there are 0.001 btc fees, in 2014 0.001 just 0.5 USD but now 0.001 = 4 USD i think transaction fee can be cheaper maybe 0.0005 so we can make transactions easy and happy ;D

Though in your case, you used an exchange and it took much from you, but i actually did a transaction from blockchain wallet before a day and charged me $3 for the transaction and it was the average fee given there. Electrum is a desktop/hardware wallet so it's not the fact about my transaction. In my opinion, all the exchanges will raise the charges. This is the best time for them to make huge profits also. Amount of BTC users have increased tremendously now. But is at the present, some exchanges will not charge with high amounts will definitely have more users in future. It is better to go for those exchanges.

You don't have to pay that high, unless you want the transaction be acknowledge in next block. If you can wait 5 or more blocks then you pay much less fee.

Exactly, there are ways around the high fees but it seems people are finding it difficult to come to terms with it. I don't know why but it seems these guys are only using web wallets which suggest these fees to them without alternatives.

Let us hope that the fees finally get lower because to pay 5 dollars for a transaction seems to be very high, if I had the choice to adjust the rate, I will put the lowest possible since most of the time I do not need my money to arrive right away to my wallet.

Miners prioritize which txs get included in the 1MB block based on the fee, so transactions with higher fees get included sooner.  By reducing the amount of space each tx takes up, there can be more of them per block. So yes, the result of this should be a decrease in the tx fee.  However, as bitcoin grows in popularity and there are more and more txs, 1MB per block will really start to slow things down and increase fees again.

Transaction fees have increased but that does not mean you have to pay it. It is just the case when you want fast confirmations. If you can wait and give time, the dues won't be that high. I thought that was suppose to be the deal but right now its very uncertain, last week i made a transaction and i paid as low as $0.30 for the transaction fee and just this morning, i tried to made a similar transaction with the same amount and blockchain.info wants me to pay $2 for transaction fee which is very ridiculous by the way.

This fee applies only if you want your transaction be confirmed by next block. If you can wait 5 blocks before it gets on to the train, then the fee would be 1/10 of it.

We can't really blame the specific sites we use.  It just seems that the days of a bitcoin micro-payment platform are gone.  VISA is a far cheaper and faster method of engaging in the day to day transactions we encounter.  Hopefully more markets start accepting bitcoin cash so that maybe we can engage in the markets again without being gouged!

Unfortunately, you can't do anything because Bitgrail gives the fees for cashing out and since it is a small exchange they will give a higher fee next time use bittrex or poloniex for a lower fee second segwit will be activated in few days so, the fees will be lower again. but for now all you need to do is wait.

1/10th of that fee would be around 13k satoshis~ and in no world would it confirm within the next 5-10 blocks. There is a threshold of fees predetermined by the miners and they completely ignore transactions as such with very less fees until a miner just says let's push it through and mine it or you decide to accelerate the transaction.

i think if we want to avoid high fees, we can buy altcoin in one exchange and then send the altcoin into another exchange and then we can sell it for bitcoin. after we have bitcoin in another exchange, then we can withdraw into fiat. sometime i use this and its help me a lot to save the fee and i think the fee for sending altcoin into another exchange is not too big.

There's nothing you're going to do that's going to change and other companies face. And you should want to. That is it those fees to keep that change rolling that in the block Rewards. If you're not prepared to pay then don't touch the currency.

That is too much for a fee. Well in our wallet in philippines it can cost up to .009 just for a high transaction speed. And the low priority can cost up to 0.003 BTC per transaction. There is alot of transactions that are going on the blockchain. Just use blockchain as a wallet so you can make the fee into custom. (It will takes days if your fee is too small for what you are sending.)

Wow! Did you paid BTC0.009 ($40) as transaction fee for a single transaction? That's a new high. Take my advice. Wait for a few days, or even weeks. There is no point in paying this much as the tx fee. You can send the coins at a later time, when the fee gets lower.

Yes the lowest fee is 0.001BTC i guess. This is the disadvantages of bitcoin, the higher the value of bitcoin become, the higher the transaction fee becomes. I agree Visa is faster than Bitcoin but cheaper it depends on the side you are seeing it. As user yes sure but as merchanets not sure. Merchants are charged a percentage by Visa when you're paying with a card.

The fees to make small transactions make currently Bitcoin not good. It fails to fill the needs for tiny transaction. It's better to use some others altcoins where the fees are near to zero. But when you are sending for example 1BTC who gives a fuck to pay 5$. I do admit not everyone send 1BTC often

I have never tried this method out and also this is my first time to come across such way. It sounds a little tedious to me. This method works only when we do high amount transaction, if you do low amount transaction then the fee will be double. To do trading and sending our bitcoins to exchange site this site will work but to sell our bitcoins and convert it into fiat currency we need to pay for multiple time transaction fees. The transaction fee is not a small matter mate. The newbies will work for just to earn 0.005 BTC per week so if they want to withdraw they need to pay 0.001+ BTC s this works for them. You guys really need to keep your coins on a wallet that lets you customize fees because for some reason all these exchanges and sites are artificially pumping them up. You could get a transaction into a block right now with very low fees.

900,000 satoshis? What PH exchange is that? Can you show some proofs here? The highest fees I have seen based on average fees to some PH exchanges since bitcoin price breached $2,000 level is around 300,000 but not more than 500,000 satoshis.

Also even if the fees will play only for let's say 50,000 satoshis, as long as bitcoin price is increasing, then definitely the value of it will be high too. Try not to stick with it's value since we are talking about bitcoin here hence 50,000 satoshis value today can be double or tripled on the other day. Our concern here is the bitcoin quantity.

why you can't find the desktop wallet to use it for signature campaign earning or any other option you use the online wallet as of now. I have Coinbase as my Signature earning and I group together for 4 weeks and taken out but still I worry about fees to me.

The rising fees are due to the high prices of Bitcoin and the faster time between transactions. The fees increasing due to legitimate demand is perfectly understandable, but what is happening right now, is that on top of the increased demand for block space, Bitcoin's network is heavily being spammed right now.

You are correct, that's one of the main reasons I am considering to shift from mycelium. I don't why but it's suggesting me 400sat/byte as the normal fee, while If I check it on blockchain.info wallet it literally just recommends 30 sat/byte.

If you send a transaction with a small commission, the transaction will hang, and may not get into the block.

We can only hope that the upcoming LN or even Segwitx2 would eliminate high transaction fees to a certain extend! It's definitely possible to use a lower transaction fee for wallet that let you enter a custom amount but still a tough call on receiving it in the next 10 minutes.

I agree with this, I know that is easier to open an account in an online wallet but if you are unable to adjust your fees then you may pay a big fee especially if you receive a lot of transactions there since the fee is going to become a lot larger the bigger the number of inputs you have.

The lightning network is what we need the segwit2x does not bring any benefit, it seems the miners just want to fork the network to keep their power games going, the lightning network is going to make possible for bitcoin to accept a lot of transactions per second without the need to create bigger blocks.

You can use Wallets Instead like coinpayments which only charge 0.0002btc as transaction fees , There may be some other bitcoin wallet with lower fees .
There are also some bitcoin trading platform which take Low charges .

So You have many options .

Rising prices of bitcoin should not be a reason for the ultra high fees being charged by exchanges. Confirmation times are still not that quick, unless you made a transaction during off peak hours. Opting for another wallet where you can choose the amount of fees would be the better way to go moving forward, while we wait for significant changes brought about by SegWit activation.

There are drawbacks too on using Poloniex as a wallet.
My first time I bought goods directly with Bitcoin almost ended as a disaster. I transferred from Poloniex. They need some time - sometimes shorter, sometimes longer - to get together more withdrawals and make one bigger transaction. The payment processor had a countdown and Polo didn't do the send in that fixed time. So my transfer was not registered.
I had to talk with customer support at seller and at payment processor, spend 1-2 more days and, with some luck, it was solved. However, all the next transactions when I bought things over internet I made directly from wallet and they went on very good.
And with today's fees like 40 satoshi/byte it's again better (and safer) to keep money in your wallet imho.

The reason why poloniex only charges a small amount per withdrawal is because they're doing batch transactions because that miner fee is for a fast individual transaction.

maybe this small exchange doesn't have that much withdrawals so if they do batch transaction, the waiting time to sign them might take longer than expected as they will wait

It is not only bitgrial that have high transaction charge even bittrex charge much as well when someone is transferring bitcoin. what I do after exchanging what ever I want to exchange I use the bitcoin and buy dogecoin and transfer it to another exchanger because transferring dogecoin do not attract much transaction charge.

Well, there are many exchanges that asks for a higher fees in transacting your funds onto your wallet it is sad that they wanted so much fund on your part but it is part of their service. The exchange that I use most is hitbtc and the only fee is 0.0004 btc. That is the flat fee and I think it is so humane on that fee versus the fee from your exchange :D

Most exchanger fee is about 0.001. i like to exchange directly using flyp.me. No registration needed. the fee is about 0.001. It is realtime exchanger, you can exchange eth, litecoin, and some tokens. That is an easy way to exchange quickly. exchange from trading site need some steps like phone or email confirmation.

All exchanges have big transaction fees. I am using bittrex for trading and after I gave them 0.001 Bitcoin they told me that it will cost me 0.001 bitcoin the withdrawal fee. So I am obliged to do some trading although this is not my preferrence. What I found is that if you exchange your bitcoin to other alt-coin and withdraw that altcoin it will cost you less. For example the dogecoins, their withdrawal fee is 1-10 dogecoins. they you can exchange the dogecoins to biotcoin at changely, for example (I do not know the withdrawal fee at changely).
