Just simply connect your PC on the internet and make a web wallet, and then send your bitcoin, simple as that. Sending bitcoin to an exchange is only when you are going to use your bitcoin on Trading, to buy some Altcoins that you could Trade in the long run or Altcoins that is promising that could assure you to make some profits in the long run.

E D I T : I'm still confused on what you mean, so please correct me if I got it wrong. :)

An exchange is like an platform that acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers of the cryptocurrency. But if you have a desktop wallet like Electrum, then you can used it to send bitcoin to another wallet without going to an exchange. Please go here: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet and choose the best wallet that will fit your needs. I hope I answer your question. LOL. ;D

There you will find may users who are willing to buy or sell bitcoins for fiat currencies or for altcoins. Use a wallet like Bitcoin Core, Armory or Electrum.
Usually you press Send, enter the address and the amount of BTC and you send it.

That's how you should be doing it, you need to use an exchange to obtain Bitcoin in the first place though.

We have got lot many access for transaction purposes, the simplest is the blockchain web wallet. However you try to keep hold of your wallet, surely at some point third party involvement will be there. This can be overcome by the highly advanced people in the cryptocurrency world.

Bitcoins are not stored on computers, are stored on the Blockchain and you can acces to them with your computer if you own the private keys. Paper wallets are a safest option than exchanges for example.

You must have a wallet and by that you can send it online to other address. You only need to create your web wallet so that you can transact to other. And yes it is possible to happen.

He is not asking for the safest method to store his coins. :P Like everyone said,if you have coins you could use a light weight wallet and the receiver must have a wallet address of his choosing, either a web wallet or a light weight wallet or a mobile wallet and start sending your coins, use exchanges or local bitcoins to purchase the coins with your local currency.

Why would you send bitcoin through exchanges. The main purpose of  exchanges is to trade BTC and altcoins. You can use online wallets or desktop wallets to send or receive bitcoins. Also it is not so safe to keep bitcoins on the exchanges.

I beg to differ with that.  Private keys are not stored on the blockchain but wherever you choose to keep them, so there's little difference between storing a private key and "your bitcoin" on your computer.   Anyway.

I'm not sure what OP means here, but this should probably be in beginners and help section.

Sorry guys, I shouldn't have used the word exchange. I should have said third party. Meaning any kind of wallet software that you have to download or sign up for.

It just seems like anyone should be able to send Bitcoin without downloading someone else's software without knowing what is really going on.

If you have an iPhone or an Android smart phone, the EASIEST way would be to download a mobile wallet like Breadwallet and use that to send & transfer BTC anywhere, anytime.

I would also recommend setting one up on your computer as a backup.

Ops you can send your bitcoin using web wallet you just need to have internet connection or mobile data if you have a phone. no need of exchange to send your bitcoin but if you like to buy, sell altcoin and do some trading you need to send your bitcoin to the exchange platform you want.

You need a third party wallet to generate your keys. Where you store your keys is up to you but in any case you do need a wallet.

to send bitcoin you need a third party ,, you can't send from hand one other hand ,, because bitcoin digital currency that need internet connection and wallet to save..you can't equate with real money..if you have bitcoin in the form real, you can do that.

This is not true, you can use official bitcoin client or SPV wallets like electrum and jaxx which doesn't store any of your personal details anywhere online. All information of your wallet will be stored locally in your computer or mobile so that there will be no any third party involvement.

Just use wallets I have recommended above to send bitcoin from one person to another without involvement of any one in between. You can neglect involvement of miners and node operators because they can't manipulate your transaction and they are mandatory part of bitcoin ecosystem.

I think it is very easy through internet. Because if I need any bank or other company to send my bitcoin then why I choose bitcoin instead of other paper currency. The meaning of digital currency is that you can perform any kind of deal on internet and through online.

And on the other hand I don’t think that there is also any other way to send bitcoin because that way must be not secure and easy while transferring your bitcoin.

You can use wallet like blockchain or local btc wallets in your country. If you are trading alt coins then you can use exchangers.

I will send my bitcoin to another through wallet and this is coins.ph wallet. In order to send btc, the sender must click the word send and the receiver must click the word receive. The sender has freedom to send btc how much they want.

I have done it thrice through a trusted when I bought $300 worth of Bitcoin to him and we have no third party just between us I don't know if this is what you are trying to understand but you can always send to anyone without a third party as long as you trust the receiver, it should be a mutual agreement.

Bitcoin was created for decentralised peer-to-peer transactions.
It was not intended for exchanges at first, this came when Bitcoin got more popularity and value.
You can just send payments by signing a transaction with your private key and then broadcast it to the blockchain.
These steps are made more user friendly on specific desktop wallets like Bitcoin Core and others.
If you want to go deep into it, you should read about Armory and create a wallet on it.
It even lets you send payments without your wallet being connected to the internet, which is extra safe.

This is how I understand what OP is trying to ask. If one person can send a bitcoin without using a digital wallet to another person, (the digital wallet is the third party OP is referring to). My inadvisable suggestion is to send bitcoin using the scanned encrypted paper wallet to the recipient using secured email. I hope this is what OP is trying to know.

What do you mean with exchange? You mean, when you send a bitcoin to other, you as well will receive bitcoin?

When you send bitcoin, it's not an exchange, it's just simply giving it away through a user's bitcoin address.

Buddy, if you want to send bitcoin without using exchange, just go through the currency exchange section of this forum and open a thread that you want to buy or sell your bitcoins. There you will find may users who are willing to buy or sell bitcoins for fiat currencies or for altcoins. The only thing what you have to keep in mind is to do trading only with users who have positive trust.
I think such transactions are very risky. I don't understand why there is still no services that will take care of intermediary services in direct transactions between people. In my country there are intermediaries between the seller and the buyer for the Fiat. The required amount of frozen account and until the buyer get the goods available. Upon receipt of the goods and after checking its quality, this amount automatically goes to the account of the seller.

Its not too risky if you really use escrow as middle man when dealing to someone in exchange section there are trusted escrow that you can be trusted here in forum you can check this thread for the list of escrow https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
Those people  who are in the list are trusted escrow the big 3 those people are most trusted and already handle a big amount of bitcoin before..

Web wallets like blockchain and so on are so reliable today, they offer more security levels so the trust is enormous, I'm not used to transactions using desktop wallets, the best answer is the use of trezor and ledger nano as hardwallet

Bitcoins are not stored in the the wallet but on blockchain network which can be a web ,hardware or paper wallet.Wallet is just a reference to block chain. You can transfer bitcoins from one wallet to any other wallet. What I understand by exchange is when you buy or sell bitcoins using fiat currency or altcoins.

Always keep your bitcoins on a wallet or cold wallet like blockchain.info etc. It's much more safer , look how many exchanges have been hacked in the last years , learn from others and keep your coins always on wallets.

electrum is very simple to use bitcoin, I also use it, I do not recognize wallet desktop or wallet that need to be downloaded because it is very susceptible to hacking activity. There are many ways to conduct transactions other than by using a exchange wallet. and one of the best is to use the web-wallet.

Did you bought BTC or started crypto under exchange site? No you can send BTC using a Bitcoin wallet too. If you want a smooth and direct transaction without a 3rd party. Install a Bitcoin core app , but its huge. I guess its 300GB.

It sounds fantastic, but the currency, not tied to anything and based on the trust of users, has survived and is rapidly developing, and it is useful to know what can be bought for bitcoins in Russia. Discussion of the prospects of the crypto currency is conducted at the level of the finance ministers of the leading countries, exchanges of bitcoins appear for dollars, euros and electronic money (for example, WebMoney), and more and more online stores start accepting this strange, inconceivable currency, which has all chances to turn the world financial system (although in the light of the bankrupt Mt.Gox, the largest bitcoin exchange, all this is under big question).

You are Full Member and dont even know to transfer the bitcoin through wallet address. Whom ever you have to send the coins just get the bitcoin wallet address and go to your wallet and go for send option. In send option you will be asked about senders wallet address just copy and paste the address whom you want to send the bitcoins and then insert the bitcoin how much you have to send and then just press send and when password asked just insert it and their your transaction is finished. In this you have to check how much transaction fees you are sending because lower transaction fees will delay the confirmation.

Have you ever tried sending your bitcoin to another through a wallet address? This really is a wake up call to everyone joining in this forum, not everyone knows everything and not everyone reads everything and that's the reason why this merit system was implemented. No offense but, a person knows how to read and write but doesn't know the process of sending a coin to another wallet address is kind of alarming and to think he is a Full Member. tsk
