Title: What is ETH going to do over the next week?
Post by: greyworld on August 13, 2017, 04:51:23 PM
Anyone think it will recover to $315 or more over the next week or so?

NEO is taking market share from it. Just wait till Tezos starts doing the same. It's already proven to not be able to handle large traffic, so I wouldn't put a dime into it right now.

With ETH the price fluctuation is found common. This year the growth is very big with ETH, because in no time the price reached three digits value and the same has been mentioned as a temporary pumping, but the price started to move with stability. Maybe by the upcoming weeks the price might reach high reaching $400.

Yeah I just bought 2 more ETH last night and then started looking into NEO earlier today and feel like maybe I should trade those 2 ETH for NEO. hmmmmm

Yeah I think you're right, I thought it was a general discussion about Economy -> Speculation but closer inspection shows it is specific to BTC.  Maybe a mod can move it?  I don't see that option in the Edit interface.

Why are making analysis in the $ unit because herr the ETH coin depends upon the simple btc unit direct and people mostly buy and sell this coin with the BTC only .
Here if you will see that the price of the ETH increased in the $ then you are right because btc was increasing by value in the dollers .
And due to thid the half of the maximum price of the ETH seems to be high .
Here current price is 0.07+btc/ETH but the maximum price that i seen was the 0.15+btc/ETH , so wait until it get touch to 0.14atleast otherwise if you invested money in this coin and want back then sell and cash out in fiat .
Here i myself invested my money in the ETH about 0.4btc at price 0.09btc/ETH and willing to sell at 0.1btc atleast .

I asked in regards to USD because ultimately that's what it comes down to with my investments.  We can say 'Bought ETH at 0.1 BTC per, omg now it's worth 0.08 BTC per!' and that sounds like it's losing value until you factor in that if BTC was worth $3000 at the buy and $4000 at the 0.08 per, it's actually gained value.  So it's easier just to speak in fiat in this case, for me.

Is there an easier way to avoid this confusion?  Please explain if so, I have much to learn with crypto.
