Title: Dumb Question? Backup Google Authenticator? Post by: sylance on August 13, 2017, 05:09:57 PM Maybe a dumb question and I did search to figure it out but I can't seem to find an answer. How do I backup Google Authenticator in case I lose my phone or have to do a restore? Considering how much money is behind my 2FA accounts it's a bit worrisome. There is a big benefit: android has an app that can backup anything. Titanium Backup Pro. It's really great tool. You can create backups everyday on schedule, set password etc.. I didn't know you could use Authy in place of Google Authenticator. It's pretty scary that I've been managing my accounts with Google and that they don't have a backup function for iPhones.
